81  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will replace oil and Gold on: October 19, 2020, 01:47:19 PM
No, Bitcoin won't replace gold and oil because both substances have a lot of use cases in many spheres of life. Bitcoin is just a virtual currency, it doesn't have any physical implementation.

It may not exactly replace them but as an investment those who used to buy gold may either have started to buy bitcoin or may think of buying it . In terms of returns or the use which bitcoin has is also needs to be considered and those who find it useful will shift their focus to bitcoin for sure. This may lead to some less demand for gold as compared in previous year.

I too instead of typing a lot on the keyboard to write posts here, e-mails, take notes I use a chrome voice to text extension via microphone, it's much more comfortable and I found myself very well immediately

Somehow I love typing more than speaking and then posting it. It will depend upon each and every individual choice and I am happy being typing it be it for the post, email or any communication I have to do with anybody goes in typing and I enjoy it.

84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Curio hit 5$ in near future? on: October 19, 2020, 05:58:09 AM
I didn’t found just a reason to choose for the future investment. It's ATH 4.31$ but it wasn’t real price because in Probit exchange 90% wash trading i think. And i haven’t expectation like as it’s can be reach 5$. So Curio will never profitable in the near future as far as not enough liquidity.

Not looking good to me this coin and I myself will not be investing in it. Anything crossing 2$ for this coin I will consider it as a big thing and may sell out and book profits if bought at lower price. Those who are looking for long term and got a strong backing research may hold it else it can fall further as well.
85  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you betting online ? on: October 18, 2020, 11:36:43 AM
I bet with my instincts, and the YOLO attitude when things don't go my way Cheesy

After all, it's all paid entertainment.

Games which are luck based here you can’t do much and have to go with your instincts inly and pray that you’re lucky to keep winning. Else you said it’s a paid entertainment so all should consider that way when losing it and nothing more than that.
86  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Proof of pure luck on: October 18, 2020, 10:11:26 AM
My initial goal was to play gambling as entertainment, so I didn't want to bother thinking about whether gambling was cheating or not.
In my opinion, as long as we choose a trusted gambling site with a good reputation, there is no need to worry that gambling sites are
cheating. Because it is impossible for them to sacrifice their long-established reputation by cheating, but it is up to each person. There
are people who do not feel bothered by regularly checking the fairness of gambling sites to make sure they are not fraudulent. But for me,
it is a troublesome job if I check gambling sites too often, so I can't enjoy playing gambling.

Well, in genuine casinos, they don't really need to cheat to make huge money. Just like any genuine good company, there's no need to cheat at all when it's guaranteed that you will make money in the long run!

It's very much in the interest of the casino to stay fair because then players will wager more, and the more they wager, the more profit casinos will make because of the house-edge that gives the a mathematical guarantee of profit in long run all the time Wink

House edge is the way in which casino do make money and since they are running a business so they need to have an advantage as well since they have to pay salary to staff, security , rentals etc which all involved cost. And for gamblers they try out their luck by playing and thinking that they may win some big money or maybe win a jackpot money etc and due to which they wager it. But only some may make money in the end this needs to be understood by players.

One of the best last over finishes saw yesterday between CSK and DC. Axar Patel brilliant super quick innings helped then to win the match in the very last moment. CSK would just not be happy the way their fielding and missing the catches in this IPL .
89  Other / Off-topic / Re: If you have $20k then where you want use it? on: October 17, 2020, 06:35:19 AM
if I had 20k $ I would exclude regardless of bank investments and I would focus more on crypto and bank investments

Crypto is my first choice and would invest 80% them in crypto and 20% in the bank investment so that for the regular use I can withdraw from the bank and for the short- and long-term income I can get it from the crypto. The bull run is yet to be seen I believe and it will cross a new milestone in the coming time.
90  Local / Off-Topic (India) / Re: Corona Virus Update - India! on: October 17, 2020, 06:11:33 AM
At first time, when Coronavirus comes into the real-world, the Indian government, makes big decisions to protect people's lives, and now when all world getting rid of this virus day by day India is getting effecting from this virus every day and the cases get increased. people should take care of it by themselves because now no-one can help to protect you from Coronavirus either then you.

Good news is that from past one week there has being approx. 20k less cases recorded on daily basis as compared to before. But still per day is approx. 70k which is a huge number. So, we will need to stay cautious and now all cinema halls, restaurants etc and everything being opened so it will have to maintain more social distance.

And diwali also comes which means people will gather more for anything at public places so government is not really worried about cases and also there are some debate going that government is trying to hide the real numbers to save them from questions of other political parties.

Not sure about hiding of the numbers, but yes people themself will have to maintain social distance as much as possible. Yes with festivals around the corner so there is a chance of increase of the cases if proper measures is not being kept by everyone.

92  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sites accepting bets from countries where gambling is illegal. on: October 16, 2020, 10:57:51 AM
Many gamblers doesn't really reads the TOS because they are to excited to play and gamble, that is why they end up losing their account and funds in a gambling site. You should always check the TOS of a gambling site before you register or signup for you to know if it is safe to play in your country and deposit your funds because your account will be useless when your account suddenly froze and banned.

It is very critical point you have raised and very few will go through those terms and condition mentioned on the site. It’s more like people want to make money form gambling and always excited about it rather than forgetting the worst scenarios that can take place. Unless it is legal in your country then all is fine.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH to hold now or not? on: October 16, 2020, 06:34:10 AM
Currently, the holding of the ETH will be a good strategy because still it is on an uptrend. Last month while it was decline it had sustained above $330 and now it is holding the level of $350. So, wait for the break of $420 and definitely, you will see the price level of $500 again for the Ethereum.

ETH is top altcoin and leader of the altcoins. I do find the very good time now to buy and hold ETH. 2021 looking forwards for the new ATH. Also at present value the price is looking attractive to me and if any dips bound to happen just the time to accumulate it and hold for seeing it cross 500$ or 600$ in coming months.
94  Local / Off-Topic (India) / Re: IPL Discussion and Predictions thread (2020) on: October 16, 2020, 05:44:02 AM
KXIP vs RCB, bottom of the table beat the topper and its good to see God Gayle back the name God looks good right and that is how media portrays him while playing. He seems very good while batting and it is going to give some hope for them in their coming matches.

It is just one of the match where Punjab played well and their tip order all contributed. Also, now Gayle is now not as fearful as it was before 2 seasons and plays only couple of big innings in entire IPL. If RCB would have won it they would be 2nd on the table instead of 3rd now.
95  Other / Off-topic / Re: Porn ad designed to protect children on: October 15, 2020, 10:49:56 AM

Even if it portrays fiction, I think that this should be limited to adult audience still.
Social media, mass media and other types of media can easily be accessed by children these days. If the parents wont be careful and watchful with their kids, they could trigger their own curiosity that will lead them to watch porn.

It serves as a reminder.

I agree. It's always up to the parents regarding how they'd like to limit and/or prevent these sort of things from happening inside they're homes. Granted that these parents are fully aware and are techy enough at least, to figure out what's really best to do, in order to prevent these sort of things to be viewed accidentally by their children.

This is more a remainder to parent that keep an eye on the kid and should be always open to speak to them at appropriate age. Kids are smart and will find some or other way to watch it. So, this is what the purpose of the ads is that also for KID to be aware about it and if caught it would be like red faced like that kid in the ad.

If we can stay away from it much better because it will have a effect on your lungs and nobody want to get it damaged. Unless you are so addictive and cannot stay away from it then try to reduce the intake of per day and this will just help you in long term and see if can leave it as it will have an adverse effect on your health only.

OP - This is fantastic news because quitting is never easy and if you can do it then it means you have a good control on your decision and this will help you in your future. Smoking is dangerous and it effects the body, some have a good resistance so not much ill effects happen else have seen people due to which at later stage in life different related diseases takes place.

This Free Dollars scheme is to be able to attract more new members and also gain free publicity

Yobit is very good in giving airdrops and free money but those receivers end up losing a lot, I have been a receiver of their pump and dump coin and I lose because of their pump and dump system in their platform, so the best thing to do whenever you received airdrop coming from Yobit is to just dump it and don't look back again, it will be good for you.

Under that circumstance no point of having those airdrop or even having an account their if that is the case and instead having the account in the best of the exchanges is much better atleast you are assured of your coins and do know that such dump coins might not get listed which may result in waste of time and money.
100  Local / India / Re: Top Cryptocurrency Exchanges in India. on: October 14, 2020, 05:19:20 AM
Are their exchanges in India which work without KYC, or all of them require KYC as a mandatory after the government regulations being not still being very clear about the crypto stand in the country. Just wondering there would be thousands of users who might want to hold the crypto but due to the polices they might just not be ready to buy it.

Yes, if you want to purchase cryptocurrency in India, using Indian bank account and using Indian Exchange, you have to comply with KYC norms. Earlier P2P Exchanges like Remitano had options for Indian users to trade without revealing their identity but it was risky deal and scammers used hacked accounts to buy on such platforms. As per my knowledge, now none of the exchange allows Indian users to trade without doing KYC.

By the way, which policy are you referring to be exact? It isn't illegal to hold cryptocurrencies in India by any means. I don't see anything wrong with Exchanges asking users to do KYC. Every transaction done in Indian Rupee which resulted in income or profit for the parties is subject to taxation. That's why every user has to give his PAN Card during KYC process so Income Tax Department can track all your crypto purchases and sales and see if you are paying correct Capital Gain tax on such profits. KYC norms will remain same even if Indian Government explicitly make cryptocurrencies legal.

I wanted to refer that due to unclear policies like we all know what is the government stand on crypto right from beginning and they still stand the same. It was SC that came in picture in between and said to be legal and again the government is in mood to get pass the law in parliament to get it curbed. Now under such situation a person thinks what is going on or let government decide finally about it and then only may decide about investing in it.
