181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: August 17, 2017, 04:37:10 AM
I have think of it and i have save up bitcoin just a the small amount because i have plans for it to have fun like travelling didn't even save it for future purpose. so i wanted to know what are you going to do with your bitcoin if you save bitcoin. Why do you save bitcoin for? and why? what is the purpose why you save up bitcoin to your wallet and not to spend it.

For both. Who know's how high the price can go?
Today Bitcoin is very expensive making a lot of unbelievers 4 years ago to regret not investing onto it.
182  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin die soon? on: August 17, 2017, 04:35:18 AM
I have sent BTC yesterday but one day passed it is not confirmed, I have raised mining fee, this sucks.

It is really a problem nowadays about the very high transaction fees and very slow fund transfer. Hopefully the devs will develop of an idea to improve the current situation without further forking bitcoin.
183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Airfair using Bitcoins on: August 17, 2017, 04:31:02 AM
Do you think paying your next plane tickets with Bitcoin a good idea?
184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: August 17, 2017, 04:29:50 AM
Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?

Not so I think. Bitcoin is the backbone and the mother of all cryptocurrency available today. Should it be replaced by another currency, I think it would be very hard to tell knowing that a lot of cryptocurrencies are now circulating the market making it very hard to attract users.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: August 17, 2017, 04:27:30 AM
I have been seeing Bitcoins' price rising with a stability in its growth, but due to the higher mining fee that is being levied on transactions these days, big businesses are now moving their funds towards alts and taking advantage with their least fees as well as shaping a completely new economy in the trends of altcoin markets. Do you think this may harm Bitcoin's dignity and open up a chance in real for alts to rise?

For now, No. Altcoins cant overtake Bitcoin just yet unless they encourage a lot of people to shift to their services. Many altcoins are being produced and are still being produced, making it very hard to succeed in a very saturated market for cryptocurrency in the internet.
186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What made 'Bitcoin' the Bitcoin it is today? on: August 17, 2017, 04:25:24 AM
What made Bitcoin so successful? How couldn't altcoins like defeat it at the early stages? Is it because of the overwhelming support of the community that made bitcoin what it is today?

It was unique and very innovative making the way for digital money. Now it's price value is so high compared to where it was 3 to 5 years ago if we had ever had the chance to invest in one.
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you buy Bitcoin now with hard cash? on: August 17, 2017, 04:22:31 AM
Would you buy Bitcoin now with hard cash since the price or value increases daily, or you just going to earn it through mining, faucets, social media and signature campaigns?

Yes, if I have a lot of cash. I would invest it and hold in in the wallet for a year. It's yield will still be greater if you just left it in the bank with all the taxes and charges.
188  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bank Interest VS Bitcoin profits on: August 17, 2017, 04:20:04 AM
I introduced a friend to bitcoin in 2016 and he bought 20 bitcoins at $455 somewhere in January 2016. He now sold all of them at $1005 per bitcoin. After bank fees and trading fees, he made a profit of about $10 000 in a year.

The best interest rate he could get back in January was about 10% per year. So his profit from bank interest would have been +/- $910 for 2016.

Even after Tax has been deducted for Capital Gains, he will still Net a profit of about $7000 for the year. He is a very happy chap now, and I got a expensive lunch out of this deal. ^smile^

#Disclaimer : These are calculations done by him, so I do not know how accurate they are. Just thought I would share it with you.

Would you risk about $10 000 now, to possibly copy his success? Those were very uncertain times, when he had to make that decision back then.

Much more if he had hold them for a few weeks or months. Bitcoins price is still shooting high. Smiley
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have 500,000$ to invest on: August 17, 2017, 04:15:11 AM
where should i invest and why ?

Invest in cryptocurrency while it is still growing. Bitcoins value is still going strong and so are many altcoins in the market. Give it a shot. Smiley

191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on Uber on: August 15, 2017, 11:46:01 PM
Meanwhile, bitcoin just got integrated with Uber for tipping drivers. Isn't that a good news?

It's a good thing. Bitcoin owners can now conveniently pay without using credit cards or debit cards.  Cool
192  Economy / Speculation / Re: How Long Bitcoin Will Bullish on: August 15, 2017, 07:27:50 AM
Now... this year 2017 is a reflection of 2013...  Bitcoin prices rose significantly along with increased adoption and problem-solving. But whether Bitcoin prices can still rise in 2018 later? While the price correction of the price spike has not occurred at all. So what do you think guys?

Wish I bought a lot of bitcoins back then, the price is really2 good for selling. BTCBTCBTC
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Future Applications for Bitcoin on: August 14, 2017, 05:11:12 AM
Would you support accepting Bitcoins as payments in hospitals, shopping malls and other basic needs in the near future?
Should Bitcoin be recognized so much, I would be happy to support such move though not sure about the security issues it may face if it is utilized for paying for services in the general public. If done so, would the government impose new laws regulating the use of Bitcoin?
194  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Restaurants accepting bitcoin! on: August 14, 2017, 05:06:30 AM
It would be nice if you mentioned in your title and/or description that this was only for USA. Otherwise, looks great Smiley Cheers.

Yes indeed, Bitcoin still not supported in the Philippines. Many places in the world still do not recognize and accept bitcoins.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / ETH? Is it time to invest? on: August 08, 2017, 07:23:36 AM
Now that Bitcoin is flying, is it a good move to invest in ETH also? Please advice

196  Economy / Speculation / Bitcoin is skyrocketing on: August 08, 2017, 06:55:02 AM
Recent charts shows that Bitcoin is going up and is still doing so as of today.
But the question is, when will it last? And when is the right time to sell?
What is your benchmark in deciding when to sell some Bitcoins?

197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin remains strong despite the fork. on: August 07, 2017, 04:46:04 AM
Bitcoin price still remains strong and has grown significantly throughout the weekend despite the hard fork.
the hardfork didn't do anything to bitcoin because it was a meaningless hardfork with no support. and it was also a rushed movement.
things could have been very different if it wasn't rushed, had more support and was actually fixing something!

Though coin transaction fee's from local to international wallets are still at high. Many investors, miners and developers are still using the old Bitcoin. Will developers fix the ever slowing and expensive transaction fee's from the old blockchain or just  try to attract old bitcoin users to jump to the Bitcoin Cash blockchain? BTC
maybe you need to make a transaction before giving opinions like this. yesterday i made a transaction with 1.5 satoshi/Byte (total fee was about 800 satoshi) and my transaction was confirmed in about 20 seconds!

Unfortunately I did, coins.ph wallet to coinbase, the fee was more than the amount I was to send in my coinbase account.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves Future! on: August 07, 2017, 02:09:49 AM
Its got a great future!!  I wish I bought more while it was still in the $2.60 range!!  I didn't anticipate it to swell up and pump this hard this fast if ya know what I'm sayin!!! Grin

Where to invest in waves? there are so many altcoins popping out in the market this days making it hard to decide which one to buy and focus on.
199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: August 07, 2017, 02:05:11 AM
I just wanted to know that, what amount of risk is there in investing in bitcoins.
Right now i am planning to buy btc approx 3-4 btc and just hold them as i guess the price of bitcoin will increase in future and i will get some good profit. But i want to know what is the risk involved. Can bitcoin price decrease and is this right time to buy the bitcoin.

The amount of risk depends upon the situation and status of the Bitcoin at a given time. We cannot really quantify the amount of risk you are talking about because no one really knows what will happen to the prices 2 to 3 months or even years from now. But it's okay to store them and just wait for a right time to sell them at a price you think is already profitable for you. Go invest while you still can afford them. BTC
