i tried each one separately without the mini plane i connected each board to a usb and a molex only one has a green light coming on
the other 3 looks dead

now i only have one running the other 3 boards no light green coming on
at first they started hashing then each board shows on cgminer zombie and the green light on the eight goes off
i am using the miniplane and i tried molex
i have 650 watt psu
anyone can help me get the other boards running please?

Try resyncing your wallet. i did over 5 times and i also deleted the index file and have it resync still no success and i received payment it is not showing |

I setup 25 mining rigs with 4 x 7950 each
total 100 gpus
the room is getting very hot that we cannot run them all
we are installing 4 ton ac unit this week and i am looking to add an exhaust fan any recommendation what to use?

That's right, a standard ATX PSU (or a variant such as SFX/TFX etc. if you're going for a smaller setup). Get a decent one, at least an Antec Neo Eco, Corsair CX series, Seasonic S12II, FSP Raider at the very least. No generic crap (including any cheap Coolermaster units) that would struggle with 24/7 use and have piss poor efficiency. techpowerup! and SPCR PSU reviews are good for checking efficiency at low loads (jonnyguru starts a bit too high). Look for the unit's efficiency level at ~100W as that's about where your four boards will be sitting at. You'll need 2x 6-pin PCI-e connectors to hook up to the 4-stack miniplane. If your PSU only comes with one, you can use a 2x-molex-to-1x-6-pin adapter. Then a computer to plug it into of course, whether that be a rpi, laptop, your main desktop PC, or a dedicated desktop PC (eg. white box home server). because we are using a proportional payout system. when our coins mature you will be getting a fixed payout per share (also normally called PPS which normally comes with high fees) but we will stick with a 1-2% fee and a block finders bonus
i know how the system works now it is showing 0 on my account as if i just started mining and no blocks found yet is your pc slow? maybe the ajax showing the balances etc hasnt updated yet? try giving it a few mins it is not slow i refreshed few times |

I am new to mining and have a couple questions, only mined protoshares and applecoins recently.
Using cgminer I am getting speeds 20X less than what I was getting while minning apple coins.
I tried changing my applecoin miner to mine these and I kept getting the message "Share is above target".
I am using a REALLY shity GPU Nvidia GT430, but I don't see why it was mining so much better with applecoins.
you are better off mining scrypt coins with gpu leave the SHA coins for asic |
