in my opinion bitcoin is the successful crypto currency if it is falling then at that time you will get good profit because when you purchase this at $4600 then the value is now more than double. so it is not to fear when prices are falling if you want to be successful then you should make a friendship with good traders and expert of the crypto currenices.

Why you should be sad, when prices are dropping is the best time to buy more imho. By buying more then you will have the chance to recover the previous lost (if you have sold it when it start dropping). Of course you need to be wise if you decide to buy more, and you need to patient to wait till it pumps again. Your sadness will not help you, better to find other ways to keep on getting profit while prices are dropping.

When bitcoin prices go down do not worry just because when the price goes down it's your chance to buy it buy as much as possible and keep holding it, because one day bitcoin will rise again and that's where your opportunity to sell it at the price you want. because the development of bitcoin lately is always increasing and the price is always going up so if there is a chance bitcoin price at the time down it's a chance to buy it and sell at the time the price goes up again.

Yeah, we should not have fear about bitcoin, if he bought bitcoin at $4600 then he already got triple profit from his bitcoin, then why he have fear about bitcoin falling. I never see in a long time that bitcoin will come back at $4600, even i couldn't think that bitcoin would be come back again at $10000. So without fear do investment with bitcoin.

Yeah, we should not have fear about bitcoin, if he bought bitcoin at $4600 then he already got triple profit from his bitcoin, then why he have fear about bitcoin falling. I never see in a long time that bitcoin will come back at $4600, even i couldn't think that bitcoin would be come back again at $10000. So without fear do investment with bitcoin.   

The fear will be eliminated if you are not spending more than of your budget, there's still a chance bitcoin could go below $10,000 because if there is a bad news that could affect bitcoin, people will panic and the price will dump. We have seen that instances before, all we have to do now is just believe and hope that one day it will reach our target to cash out and enjoy our profit.

What to do when price are falling, Hold you coin and double down on your holding. Buy as much as you can on different new lows. By the time there is a slight increase you would have broken even or made profit!

if the price drops you can hold the coin in the long run, but if you have limited capital you can sell the coin and switch to another coin that has good potential and hope to get profit. this is just my own opinion.

I mean, if you have enough money, and there is some chances of growing back, of course the best strategy is to wait.

Its more about risk aversion, but if you analyze the market mid-term, apparently the best way is to spend more btc on alts when they are dipping. then again you never know how far the are dipping and you might just lose btc-value compared to staying in btc. Thats why there is no 100% in this game called trading, but once alts drop a significant amount and you believe in them long-term, throwing more money in cant be a bad thing eh? Just look at e.g. IOTA, Moncacoin and some others. they dipped for a while but then they broke out big time, so buying at the bottom or at least at what looks like a bottom cannot be too bad unless its a shitcoin

Altcoins are altcoins so make sure if you gonna hodl instead of selling your alts in very cheap you must know if it has a good potential in the future or you can add more or buy at much cheap price so once it gets back you can earn more than what you loss

If you bought the coin at high price much better cut loss it then waiting price at oversold area and on consolidation then buy it more. This is will be minimize the risk because volatility of crypto too high. Cut loss strategy is very imortant especially for altcoin trading that paired with BTC because the price of BTC strong bullish now.

What I usually do if prices are falling most specially if the coins are very low, I would buy more coins from a much lower price and your total amount of couns would then be divided; the result would be lesser losses. Read or research on google about books or ebooks on trading.

but you should be careful also in buying some altcoins. it doesn't mean that if see bitcoin price is falling down, you going to buy different altcoins. you should study first the coins that you want to buy or trade. because there are some altcoins  that is very slow to move it's volume. always read a lot about trading or ask some strategy to those who are veterans in trading.

To my view point if the bitcoin price falls it is good to buy more and invest for more betterment and wait for a hike, falling price can be taken as a positive one.I don't believe that the price will  decrease too low in this present digital world , we can wait and see what happens next.

thats a good way if bitcoin price are falls they catch a dip price... How about u dont have a remaining capital.. Much better sell ur bitcoin its not to late until reached the dip and find token profitable for the meantime actually if bitcoin price is low the altcoin price is rising maybe a little or above the expectation. Just u need to learned in the crypto currency in the market.

Well, this is what I do when the price was falling, I always hold it until the price will be recovery.
But its should be patient when we're waiting for best time to Sell our balance.

although this actually seems to be a variable situation, it actually expects something to be done. because when the price drops we do not dissolve the number in our possession. the number on the left is fixed and the value against the other parallax is decreasing. It does not make much sense to sell. it's the job of those inexperienced people. best to wait. if this was done as an exchange rate in an unstable country it would be otherwise. but I'm talking about crypto. and speak for bitcoin. they are different. because I sell the bitcoin fall, on the contrary, I find the money somewhere cheap and get the bitcoin.

Hello. I have a folio of BTC, ETH, NEO and some alts. I've been watching at Bitcoin since 2015 but bought only at this summer (and the last move was quite bad, I bought some BTC for $4600). I try to study, watch vids, read forum and twitters. Chris Dunn has a vid on the topic but nothing really specific. I'm interested in some ideas about what to do when prices are falling.  Sell alts and hold bitcoin? Short? (and if yes, so the next question is how to learn how to short?).

The best and wise thing to do when prices are falling is to always hold onto our respective bitcoins. There's no need to panic. We all should be aware by now that bitcoin and the other cryptocurrencies are volatile enough for it's price to bounce back on top again. We all just have to be more patient when it comes to these matters.

With any significant changes in bitcoin prices, it's best to leave the altcoins, because even if bitcoin falls in price, the altcoins will also fall in price. But only bitcoin will recover very quickly, and altcoyins will be restored for a very long time in comparison with bitcoin.
