LOL, so there's something called BTC Gold coming up now? You've gotta be kidding me, I didn't know about that all. I didn't even completely extract my bitcoin cash off from my bitcoin wallets... Now I'll be getting BTC Gold too? I literally am not interested in such pathetic trash!  No problem. Can you do me a favor? Once BTC Gold is launched (Oct 25), can you move your BTC to new wallet and just give me your unused private keys?  I don't get why bitcoin holders do not realize that every alt coming out from bitcoin eventually is our best way to get more free bitcoins! Pathetic trash you called it. I agree! But do you know what it's been used in farming as a fertilizer? Shit! I mean real shit! Now they call it compost. So let them create their alts so that we can dump them for BTC. Has everyone decided what to do with their S2X fork coins? Could this be the version that backdoors onto Wall street ETF-style?

I dunno about you, but if there's a zombie apocalypse or some riot right outside my house, I'd prefer to have one. Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

What is the real reason behind the price rise of bitcoin as its gaining more strength from last few days?
no more china/JP Morgan FUD and 2 upcoming forks (on 25.10 bitcoin gold and on 1.11 bitcoin 2x). People want free coins from these forks so they start buying. there is also a bch sell off going on, they sell bcash to buy real bitcoin. |

bcash is one of many altcoins, at least 2 new altcoin forks are coming next month. bcash will fade more and more into insignificance like all other altcoins.

So i have some money prepared for the november fork! hope the price go down so i can buy more bitcoin  If we repeat the same process as in august, then the price will go down then up to a new height. What do you think? we have 2 upcoming forks, bitcoin gold and segwit2x. from bcash people know that a fork means free money. I think the price will go up and not down, people are buying because they want free coins. but we will most likely see a correction after the forks. |

Some time back, I bought my wife an Instant Pot (fancy pressure cooker) with Bitcoin at a 25% discount via Amazon/Purse.io. Told her by using Bitcoin (which was already way up for me), it was the cheapest Instant Pot money could buy.  Then Bitcoin quintupled. Now she looks at the Instant Pot and says, "Most expensive fucking Instant Pot money could buy." And sits there scheming over all the things she could have bought HODLing instead. So yes. HODL is a paradox. Yes indeed. Nevermind I bought all the dips on the way up. Nevermind I can retire early now. That fucking Instant Pot will always be my HODL reminder. "Yes honey, it's a lovely house, but we could have bought a fucking castle, you idiot!"this hodl philosophy will really hurt bitcoin one day. this could end in some kind of deflation spiral, nobody uses bitcoin to buy stuff because stuff will be much cheaper tomorrow. to solve this hodl problem we need a new kind of service. A combination of payment and exchange service. with this service it should be possible to pay for something in bitcoin and also instantly exchange the same amount of fiat back to bitcoin - payhodl.com! |

September is almost over, only 1 month left until segwit2x becomes active. segwit2x tries to do as much damage as possible to bitcoin. they steal the name, they don't activate replay protection, and much more. they are even hiding there nodes: Adding command-line arg to hide segwit2x service bit

Nodes that relay invalid blocks (segwit2x blocks) will become banned and this leads to a fragmented network. A few weeks ago I read this comment on twitter. sadly it's already deleted but you can still find it on google if you search for it: Can't wait to turn your ASICs into bricks.
