141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token bounty must hold or sell? on: June 07, 2018, 03:36:00 PM
Many bounty campaign give token..often token bounty has not been paid .. you already exist in the market .. after the price paid it down drastically ... if we hold the token .. later will be able to rise or even added down the price of token bounty
We all know that most of the token bounty has a low price at the beginning that's why we need to be patient and hold it for a long time to see if we can get benefits from it. Though that's the thing, we should not be carefree with our holdings, we should study the ICO first and see if that token has a potential of growing so that our holding time wouldn't be nonsense.
142  Economy / Economics / Re: Wise thing to do with your savings. on: June 07, 2018, 02:57:44 PM
I see that many of you actually liked the concept of 20 % method wherein you allot 20% of your earnings to be saved as emergency fund.
So I was thinking, if that 20% allotted will be invested in a time deposit kind of account, will it still be possible to earn as much or invest it in cryptocurrency? Or maybe just let the money sleep until such time you will need it?
What will be a wise kove to do with the noney you have saved up?
I think you should not put all of your savings down for  investment knowing that it would be risky or might end up giving you a lot of loss of money that's why you should be smart with your savings. You can lend some of your savings on investing in crypto but you should atleast keep plenty on you so that if things get messed up, you wouldn't end up broke.
143  Economy / Economics / Re: Digital Money = Cashless Society on: June 07, 2018, 02:42:10 PM
It is said now China is a cashless society. Use of debit and credit cards in shops/stores, online pay bills, shopping online.

Money earned from the internet is known as digital/electronic money. People who earn money from the internet, they get paid money in electronic form by payment processors such as skrill, perfectmoney, alipay, paypal, bank-wire transfers because online workers are worldwide.

Last month, I got $20 from online surveys. The money was sent to my bank account via online payment processor. Now if I buy 2 shirts using debit cards at offline or online stores, there is no cash involved but I have 2 shirts.

Bitcoin is a part of digital money. How is digital money is your country ??
We will all come to those times where no one else is using any fiat money anymore instead they will be using digital money for convenience and ease of transactions. That can bring good effects to us users. In our country, there are a lot of growing digital money or digital apps to access your money and I think that's going to be the start of something new on the way we hold our money.
144  Economy / Economics / Re: DO NOT SELL! JUST HODL - You've not loss any money if you haven't sold. on: June 07, 2018, 02:24:16 PM
Bitcoin dipped to 7500$ and i think now it is danger zone could go to 3000$-4000$ again.
Good chance for newcomers, sorry for those who bought bitcoin at 18,000$ an 11,000$ Cheesy

What do you think? How low bitcoin can go?

Just hodl it
Well we cannot persuade everyone to keep on holding right now knowing that bitcoin and other crypto's price has been really down for so long and it is still falling continuously day by day. Having faith is not a bad thing but you should still be smart and wise about your holding so that you won't end up hoping on something that is not going to happen anytime soon.
145  Economy / Speculation / Re: Perfect Time to Buy! on: June 07, 2018, 02:05:43 PM
With all the good news coming out in favor of bitcoin like Expedia accepting bitcoin etc it's time to buy with the price going down. You will not be so lucky next week. I strongly believe it's going to reach $700 by end of next week!
We can be happy about having bitcoin's price going down but we should still keep on hoping that it will rise again sometime sooner because all of our holdings will be nonsense if that wouldn't happen. It is a perfect time to buy right now for real and we should grab this opportunity and make the most of it but still be smart and wise in buying.
146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The FALL OF BITCOIN on: June 07, 2018, 01:41:22 PM
It is very sad to say that a technology like this would come to a big tragedy
Bitcoin has the potential to be great but it has become a weapon of Greed

The real use of bitcoin as a payment system is just a fantasy
But what happens in reality, it is just a pump and dump coin like the rest

The only coin that is using blockchain technology the right way is USDT or Tether
most other coins are just scams and not meant for adaptability

A currency is something that can be used for daily basis rather than just an investment
majority of people who buy bitcoin is just for investment and not used as a payment itself

Never the less
HAIL HYDRA!
Bitcoin is falling not because of what it does, it is falling because of our wrong thinking about it. Those wrong thinkings leads us to patronize bitcoin less than any other currency existing. We should not pay attention on bitcoin being a profitable alone instead we should understand that it has a lot of uses and if we will all realize that, things would get better here for sure.
147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more risky? Bitcoin or bank investment? on: June 07, 2018, 01:25:57 PM
Bitcoin is indeed risky. But bank investments are risky too. In our country (coz I'm not sure if this exist in other countries). When you have a large amount on your account they will call you and ask you if you want to invest, minimum of 20,000 Php (or 400 USD). They will propose some investment plans where there is a choice of low, medium, or high risk investment. When you choose the high risk there is a chance to lose or gain 100% of your investment (Medium is 75% and low is 50% if I remember it right). It doesn't make sense to me, it sounds like a scam, they will invest using your money and you don't have any control to it. That is why I like bitcoin more, coz Though it is risky and it's very volatile, you have full control on your investment.

What do you guys think?
For me, we can consider both risky knowing that there's no certainty that you'll gain much profit from your investments on it. Bitcoin investments will still be more risky though compared to bank investments since it has a more volatile value which means the price of it goes down or up every time. I will still commend bitcoin rather than banks for it is more profitable.
148  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin value on: June 07, 2018, 01:09:25 PM
I've just watched the John Oliver show about cryptocurrencies and something struck me about what he said:

" like most currencies, the fundamental reason that bitcoin has value is that people agree that it has value"

I just want to know your thoughts on this. I only have a little understanding about the idea of currency and its value although i've already been at it all my life. Im new into this kind currency and right now its plumetting.
Just like all things, we make it exist by agreeing that it it do really exist. We tend to support something that's why even it's not there yet before, it comes alive just like bitcoin's value before. We all know how priceless or less expensive bitcoin is before but as the number of the believers and investors of it grows, it happened that its value grow a lot for real too.
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens with my crypto when I die? on: June 07, 2018, 12:39:33 PM
Silly question right? Smiley
Unless there is a backup method or heritage system it obviously vanishes for eternity, but the point was to discover methods that you are aware for avoiding such risks.

Well, it's not a risk, it's a certainty, but there are other risks of losing access to the crypto account aswell.
Some like:
* death... obviously
* house burns down along with hard wallet
* one can accidently loose his cold storage or hard wallet
* maybe other you figure out and I add them

So, what storage do you use to ensure your savings, or what do you think would be the best solution to overcome these risks?

UPDATE: I started this discusion because I can't see a decentralized solution for that, most of the centralized ones are largely known (wills at layers, online wallets and so on) but do not meet the security criteria as still imply a trusted party. Better simply handover the private key directly to the inheritant IMO.

What I want to determine is if it IS realy a concern for the comunity or not, and if yes than we can contribute all together to the creation of a such product. But again I realy do think it should be built decentralized and trustless.
There are possibilities that your crypto will stay on your wallet forever but you can change that by lending some of your money in the banks and admitting it to one of your loved ones so that your earnings wouldn't go nonsense. Some people just let their crypto die together with them without anyone benefiting from it.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold or sell ? on: May 31, 2018, 07:07:58 PM
Should we hold on to altcoins which we have invested and see the price dropping every moment or it will be better to sell them and buy it again when the value pumps ? I have already lost a good margin of profit with the ripple I don't want to make the same mistake with the Lumens which I Hold so should I hold on or sell out ?
Just keep on holding, the market is getting greener than ever right now and you should just wait and see if things will turn out better for this time. We can all hope for good things, no one is stopping us, we should just be careful because crypto world is a very unstable one and too much expectations will only cause a heart break for us so stay lowkey.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market is GREEN - Do you trust it on: May 31, 2018, 06:53:18 PM
Do you think the market will stay green or turn red?

It not an easy call

I say green
No, I don't. Market has been very confusing these past few months and I'm not falling on it's tricks to avoid loosing more money. It would be best if I am going to make sure first that market will stay green and will keep on rising before I risk again. I am already starting to worry since days with market or green are very rare and thosed days with red's are getting more often.
152  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest in BTC vs Invest in Real Estate? on: May 31, 2018, 06:39:06 PM
Bitcoin chart is going up and down some times I am thinking maybe I should invest part of my BTC (at least the part of the profit  I’ve made on crypto) into something real?!
Let’s say I can buy share of real estate company and get the part of profit (50-100% per Year).

Should I
Spend all my BTC on that shares?
                Spend small (profit) part?
Or just do nothing and wait?

Huh?!

I’ll do appreciate for answers with any suggestions and recommendations!

I would favor investing on bitcoin rather than real estate. The money you're going to invest here might be put on risk but behind that, unexpected great rewards will be coming if ever you'll be successful. Real estate investments are also risky but the price or reward over it is nothing compared to the ones you can gain here in bitcoin so think about it carefully and choose bitcoin.
153  Economy / Economics / Re: why do people agree to pay taxes? on: May 31, 2018, 06:22:50 PM
why is it ok for a group of people calling themselves the government to force everyone to buy their services?
if enough armed people refused to pay and told the government to go fuck itself there is nothing they could do.
Taxes aren't meant to give us heavy burden every time we get to recieve our profits, it has a way better purpose. The collected taxes are being used to build different things or infrastructures to make the community or country better. Still, there are times where greedy officials use their power to gather our taxes and use it for their own benefits and that's what we should hate about taxes.
154  Economy / Economics / Re: what is the future of virtual currency like bitcoin ? on: May 31, 2018, 06:09:49 PM
As a digital payment system virtual currency has its own reputation. Bitcoin raised as strong virtual currency in 2010. Today’s global currency is developed in different way and comparing with others currency bitcoin is like more valuable than gold. Good reflection and better control system can make more valuable in economic sector. now by the help of bitcoin selling and buying system is easier than other transection. At age of technology we can collect or hire so many proficient worker for the purpose of different sector’s development and then we can provide their salary through bitcoins because of its popularity.
On above this conversation we don’t need to worry about future of  virtual currency or bitcoins.
Nobody knows yet actually but most of the rumors you'll hear is about cryptocurrencies dying slowly at the moment. We can all see how red the market is and everyone else is worrying that maybe this is a sign that plenty of bad things will keep on happening until crypto finally extinct. Amidst all of that hearsay, we cannot conclude it yet and the best thing we can do right now is to keep on supporting it.
155  Economy / Economics / Re: Is NOW the best time to buy or enter in bitcoin? on: May 31, 2018, 05:51:06 PM
Bitcoin prices plunged from $4900 to $3300 withing pan of few days. Now some news-points from bitcoin world are claiming this price plunge was planned. Check following links:

https://news.bitcoin.com/after-the-boss-calls-bitcoin-a-fraud-jp-morgan-buys-the-dip/
http://btc-flow.in/2017/09/16/after-the-boss-calls-bitcoin-a-fraud-jp-morgan-buys-the-dip/
http://btc-flow.in/2017/09/16/after-the-boss-calls-bitcoin-a-fraud-jp-morgan-buys-the-dip/

Now without going into whether above claims are true or not, my concern is "Isn't this is the right time to enter the bitcoin market or purchase few more". There is definite signs of improvement in the bitcoin price market. Current price is around $3757. It is quite possible to see bitcoin back to 4k to 5k or more. Given biggest players from finance sector are eying this lucrative market.
What do you think, is this is right time to buy some more bitcoins or wait and watch?

I think so, we can see that bitcoin's price has been very low these past few months and it would give us a lot of advantages if we are going to invest while the price is low so that when it rises up, we will gain plenty of benefits like high profits. We should be smart and wise in making decisions like this wherein if you are going to be careless in entering bitcoin, instead of benefiting, you will suffer the opposite.
156  Economy / Speculation / Re: Expected predictions on: May 31, 2018, 05:30:38 PM
I will wait for that time to arrive, because I believe the bitcoin price by the end of 2018 will soar.
I will keep the spirit to collect coins for my future.
although this month, bitcoin prices are worse than December of 2017, but I still believe it.
Can not be denied, the growth of Bitcoin value in 2017 is arguably fantastic. However, this criticism of cryptocurrency is analogous to a 'bubble' (because it continues to fly high but can 'erupt' anytime)

The year 2017 seems to be the period of proof for Bitcoin as the most calculated cryptocurrency. One climax occurs when the digital currency recorded a record high with the value (USD 19,796) on December 17 last.
Experts also predict that with these achievements, Bitcoin has the potential to record a much higher value next year.
"Bitcoin can reach (USD 60,000) by December 2018," said Mike Dumont, Senior Editor of Bitcoin.com

Based on what we are currently seeing with bitcoin right now, we can say that it would take a long time before it gets to recover but that should not make us stop on believing on it knowing that these circumstances has occured already before but bitcoin was able to survive and recover afterwards. The same thing might happen this time so let us keep on holding and believe on bitcoin.
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin have more risks than benefits? on: May 31, 2018, 04:49:10 PM
Bank of Spain, in Madrid, says that the bank of cryptocurrencies, bitcoin, it's not worth it, and there are more risks than benefits. There are more innovations and they are having more effect.

What is your opinion?

I think so. Bitcoin has been a very risky cryptocurrency and investment wherein plenty of people has already ended up disappointed and regretful after risking much money from here. You cannot blame them, it's all part of the game. There will be time where you loose and there will also be time where you win and gain more than what you expected, if you're too afraid to risk, then don't expect any rewards or benefits.
158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Party's over. Go get a job, you lazy animals... on: May 31, 2018, 04:28:56 PM
Strange times we live in. Crypto speculation, YouTube views, paid content. Yet no real contribution to the human evolution. A good professional is getting harder and harder to find. This generation is full of fucks who pose on YouTube, unboxing shit, and earning 100k dollars per month. Or "great economists" who are betting on a zero-value digital coin. This is insane. Go get a fuckin job, get a degree, go invent and participate in a project that has real benefits for our technological evolution. You are chasing ghosts and the next generations will have you impaled as the idiots of human history whose only occupation was to gamble and make selfies in moronic view-hungry vlogs on the internet.

So yes, hold your currencies like your life depends on it. Shallow and boring.

BTC < 8k USD. The measure of our generation...
I agree. We are being too complasant and dependent on what our technology brings us like easier job but less economy friendly. We chose it because it is easier and more money can be produced from it. As this kind of mindset gets tolerated, the world will keep on falling down slowly while technology rises and people gets dumber.
159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto replace fiat money? on: May 31, 2018, 04:13:13 PM
I would like to know if cryptocurrency will replace fiat money in the future,  also if so how long it will likely take.  Also,  I would like to know which coin you think would take over if one will.  (E.G. Dogecoin,  BTG, LTC, XMR)
We cannot conclude that yet actually considering the fact that most of the cryptocurrencies in the world right now is not yet legal and it might take some time before that happens. There's a chance that it will replace fiat knowing that it has more greater features compared to what fiat has so people will surely patronize it if ever.
160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are still buying Bitcoin? on: May 31, 2018, 03:50:36 PM
If people buy Bitcoin at $8,000, they will get 100% profit only when Bitcoin reaches $16,000. If it takes 5 years to reach $16,000, people will earn more money from Gold and Silver than from Bitcoin. Silver is giving 20% to 35% profit in one year.

Mining cost of one Bitcoin is $5,000 or more. When Bitcoin was $400 or $800 it was understandable because people had to just spend $400 or $800 to get one Bitcoin and $1,200 is super high profits when Bitcoin started from $1.
They are still buying bitcoin because they are hoping and believing that it will soon rise once again. Things might look very messed up for bitcoin right now but if we are going to be patient and wait for it to rise up again, we may get a lot of advantages and benefits. We should not give up on bitcoin already considering the things it has done from the past.
