A number of people have asked me what they can do to help/contribute.

First-off, big thanks to Nycziecskoi who has created a Telegram group that you can join here: https://t.me/DECNT_Unofficial

Other things that would be helpful...

  • Discord Group
  • Reddit Group
  • FB/TWitter/YT posts
  • Blog posts
  • Wiki/crypto site listings
  • Website (if a site is setup, it should be admined by a group, not one individual)
  • A better logo  Grin
  • Other graphics/promotional material
  • Anything else you can think of!

When distro?

Hi Keltrentt, as soon as we hit the 99 subscriber mark. Please help spread the word to accelerate the timeline. We currently have 75 slots open, at the current rate, I'm hoping to distribute the tokens by Weds 02/19
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [AirDrop] DECNT - Decentralized token with no centralized management on: February 14, 2020, 11:17:51 PM
what means 25mm? I wonder about max supply, is it open source? perhaps a bit moar of data would be nice , i will be watching.

Hi andulolika, the total supply is 25 million. The token cannot be reissued and all promotion/awareness will be driven by the community. The first 99 people to subscribe to the airdrop will each receive 250k $DECNT (the same as me 99+1). Whether this token gains traction will be down to us as a group.

Why did I create it? Every token/coin out there starts with a management group or individual that reserves a LARGE portion of the tokens/coins for themselves, in the hope that it will get traction, and then start selling en-mass to cash out. $DECNT is different in that there will be no super bag holders, every person in the first 100 holders will be equal, our rewards will depend on our effort and success as a group. The initial distribution is 100% free, no Tweets or posts required (although they are appreciated and encouraged), no "donations" required, or any of the other BS typically associated with an airdrop or token distribution.

I just created a Telegram group for DECNT token.  Smiley

By definition it is an unofficial group, as there will be no centralized management, or official representatives to DECNT.

Feel free to join for further discussions around the idea!  Wink

Thanks Nycziecskoi, this is great.

Only 80 spots left for this airdrop, PM me your WAVES account ID if you'd like to join the fun.

Wow! There's still this much slots available? This thread has been read over a hundred times. Perhaps not all that read were interested...or some applicants were disqualified?
I guess lack of WAVES wallet is a huge factor here, since i moved to SSD i can't have a darn wallet.

But you can easily get a wallet for your mobile device - Android or iOS

You can also set one up on the online Waves Exchange.

I started waves wallet and it gave me a random seed.
idk how to get the wallet address, while it's still syncrhonizing

Which wallet did you install? Currently, they've wrapped everything into the Wave Exchange App. Go to https://waves.exchange/sign-up and hit the download menu to find the right version for your OS. Once you've gotten the seed, you should be able to load your account. Note that the app password and your account password are separate things. If you already have your seed (and it sounds like you do), click the account drop-down in the top right corner of the app and follow the instructions for importing an account. Hope that helps!

Note: The app should sync within a few seconds as it doesn't download a localized chain. If it's hanging, check your network settings to make sure the app isn't being blocked.

Thank you for your reply. I imported my random seed and it gave me a public address corresponding to it. Which I am sending to you as a private message.

Awesome, glad you were able to get it setup.

The new tokenomics will be explained fully when the plan is finalized in the next 2 weeks. Please see https://steemit.com/rialtoai/@rialto/tokenomics-announcement-postponed

You should deposit your XRL tokens to the Rialto.AI platform in order to register for the upcoming equity distribution plan and to either withdraw the assets held by the token or to transfer those assets to the new Rialto Trade platform.

Given that US residents aren't eligible for the equity distribution, I'm assuming there's no point in depositing them, unless I'm mistaken?

Please see above reply. The plan is to make everyone eligible for the equity distribution model, so all token holders should register an account and deposit their tokens to our Rialto.ai platform. We no longer require users to pass the KYC as most functions are now locked. They can still do so if they wish and their accounts and any remaining assets will then be automatically transferred to the new Rialto Trade platform when it launches in December. However KYC is not a requirement to deposit the tokens and to withdraw the underlying DAP assets. Please see this blog post for more details: RIALTO.AI: Important offline period reminder

More details will follow once the plan is finalized.

I'm more than a little apprehensive about depositing my tokens when I'm told KYC is no longer required, as there have been many bait a switches, hopefully I won't end up regretting this.

So...No KYC required huh? This sure looks like a bait and switch from where I'm standing right now.

I quote from your most recent Medium post...

Please note that withdrawing your assets does not affect your eligibility to receive the free preferred shares and that even empty accounts will be migrated, as long as they’re KYC verified and compliant with our Terms of Use, in particular Section 3, which lists restricted jurisdictions.

Unfortunately, this list includes USA, so while American citizens are eligible to receive the free preferred shares and have successfully completed the KYC procedure for that purpose, their accounts will not be migrated to the new platform. All such users must submit a request to withdraw their DAP assets via Rialto.ai platform support.

If I can use the new platform as a US citizen, what now? How do I withdraw my platform assets?

Quick note to say thanks to the Rialto team, my assets were converted and paid out to my Eth address.

53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BIGGEST DROP without a clear reason for it --> MARKET MANIPULATION on: November 14, 2018, 09:54:37 PM
I don't think it's marketing manipulation, more likely due to the Security and Exchange Commission labeling tokens as securities causing panic selling, in no small part due to the Ether-Delta settlement.

I don't see anything on the SiaClassic site about a snapshot/airdrop, anyone know what's happening on that side?

Also, as a point of discussion...given that SIA's cloud storage usage is currently at a fraction of the available capacity, doesn't creating four branches water down the market even more?
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage on: November 08, 2018, 07:17:26 PM
help please

need a wallet that i can mine my asic to.

its the orgional sia coin asic bitmain.

where is a link to a wallet i can mine to???

was mining to bittrex, cant do that please help?!!

you have 3 options to mine with bitmain A3

https://t.me/siaprime
https://t.me/SiaClassic
https://t.me/HyperspaceApp

and ask directly them for support, this is SC (Sia) topic

The only one you can currently mine is HyperSpace. Sia Prime and Classic are not yet launched from what I can see.

not true at all
you can mine all 3 forked coins - take a look here ->> https://siamining.com/chains

That was fast,  Prime and Classic weren't fully operational when I checked a few days ago.

Please read this important update if you hold XRL tokens: Important offline period reminder

Quick question...What's the token swap? Is that just between the old and new platforms, or is the token itself being reissued? And...if we're unable to use the platform, is there still a need to deposit our tokens?
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]HoweyCoins: the only BitcoinTalk-endorsed ICO - GUARANTEED PROFIT on: November 08, 2018, 01:50:17 AM

None of the above. Keep reading, grasshopper, or you could just join the sig campaign and bring in them there bountiez!

@MagicSmoker - What exactly are you smoking? The SEC is outright calling this ICO a scam. Which...if you're trying to push this cr@p on ppl, makes you guilty of fraud.

Seriously people, wake the F up. Use your own eyes and a bit of common sense. Do you need a big neon sign flashing "SCAM" for you to take note?

Purple kush, but I hardly see the relevance of me being stoned out of my mind when the real problem is that you failed the reading comprehension portion of this quiz.

HoweyCoins was created by the SEC to educate people to be wary of investing in ICOs; like, for example, people that bought into the AML ICO... ahem...

I stand corrected! Keep working your magic...erm...Magic.

With so many scams that look just as scammy as the HoweyCoins site, it's an easy mistake. So far AML BTC has been my only misstep, and fortunately I was able to dump them and make back the measly investment. The red flags were there, but like Fox Mulder, I wanted to believe (more the fool me), fortunately I only dipped a toe in.

Next time I'll dig through a little more carefully before jumping hot  Grin

Is there a setup guide for PascalCoinMiner_4.0 anywhere? I don't see anything on Github or the Pascal site.

There is if you read carefully.

I need a beer.  I had a long workday.  I usually don't start drinking until 7.
Please get back to me if you are having trouble following the instructions.
It did take me about 1 minute to decipher them.   Huh

It's 11 minutes to 7.  I will be back.  Okay?

Cheers.

I hear you on that front, need to crack a cold one myself. Maybe I'm just half asleep today...I found info on Ployminer's rhminer implementation easily enough, but not for PascalCoinMiner_4.0. Regardless I found the issue that was causing the miner to exit on launch - i.e. just change miner server private key to always use the same key.

*raises glass* Thanks for the nudge.

I wish I could be of more help, but I have no idea what "PascalCoinMiner_4.0" is.
Sounds like some sort of an archive.  tar.gz of binary code?

I recommend that you read the official website (I have only spent several hundred hours reading about PascalCoin) since its launch.
Then possibly join the Discord group.
All the answers are there.

Let's just say that it works fine.  PascalCoin, that is.
No worries mate. I've already done all of the above and have likewise been following the project for at least a year or more. PascalCoinMiner_4.0 seems to be the official Randomhash miner based on the latest releases on the official Git repository https://github.com/PascalCoin/PascalCoin/releases - there just doesn't appear to be any documentation yet. Appreciate the help though.

Glad to see Rialto is making progress and expanding it's services. Will the previous restrictions for US based investors still apply? I'm assuming yes, but thought it worth asking.
