521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POWR][UPDATE] *** POWER LEDGER TOKEN SALE STARTS FRIDAY 8TH SEPTEMBER *** on: November 23, 2017, 05:00:02 AM

Very good to know about the power ledger meeting and updates. In the beginning many people mentioned power ledger is going to scam but today the value of power ledger and Australia government showing lot of interest towards it.

Australia is one of the places on earth with more sun light per square meter. There is a lot of interest from Australia.  Roll Eyes

Government are showing interest towards the power ledger but the government mentioned directly in any sort of the news because many people like me need real news because as investor I need to find more things about the power ledger.

Believe me, the hype around Power Ledge isn't hot air. The company is well established, as is their network. They signed an $8mm deal with the Australian government last week, have the Thailand deal on the table, another potentially huge deal in India, and even Elon Musk is eyeing them. There are many ICOs and cryptos promising big things. The difference is that they promise to do it two years from launch, where as PL is already there. It's only going to go up from here. Do some digging and you'll find tons of articles from credible mainstream sources. Any fluctuations should be temporary. POWR is a steam train...or perhaps I should say a solar train  Grin

Wish I'd seen the signature campaign sooner, that said...Joined Telegram, Twitter and email bounties. Oddly enough I didn't even see the English version of the announcement in my threads, just the French.

Good luck.

524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AML BitCoin Token Sale is now LIVE ! on: November 22, 2017, 08:39:24 PM
Selling anti money laundering Bitcoins, AMLBitcoin to people by initial coin offering? I'm here on official capacity to beg for bounties, translations of dead or alive languages. please I have no home of my own, at least share 0.1% from the money you are about to receive with me, I don't want to cause any inconvenience by begging here. terrorists could buy the total supply of AMLBitcoin in this ICO and cause more terror when AMLBTC hits $1000. I'm going to suggest people to avoid helping terrorists by staying away from AMLBTC.

I've seen some entertaining comments on this forum, but this may be the best one yet  Cheesy

That said, I wouldn't mind one part of this harebrained prediction coming true...namely a $1000 AML BTC, but alas I doubt that will happen any time soon.

Oh boy!
525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FLiK on: November 22, 2017, 08:33:07 PM
Here's a simple tip for anyone investing in alts and especially ICOs. Assuming you bought before the price spike, sell a portion to make back your initial investment, preferably with a 20% gain, and HODL the balance. That way, even if it tanks and goes nowhere, you've already made a decent profit, and on the off-chance that it does eventually balloon - you've made bank. A lot of ICOs are pure scams, there are also plenty that just take time to mature, but using this method, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TIERION [TNT]Token Sale Starts on 27 July on: November 22, 2017, 08:01:41 PM
Any calculation of total nodes and node profitability on final production network?

Dig around on Reddit and their Medium channel, should be able to find it there. Good news is, that if you have enough tokens to run a node, you should now be able to make a half decent profit.
527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TIERION [TNT]Token Sale Starts on 27 July on: November 22, 2017, 07:18:29 PM
Oh my god , its a miracle, i just wrote my sad message here yesterday that i dont know what to do with this token and its starts moving, now going to hold and buying more and more. Response just starting!

Yep. Sounds like our prayers have been answered. I'd likewise been asking for it to get listed on other trading platforms. Ask and you shall receive. And...from what I've seen and heard via the telegram channel, the node platform is getting ready for prime time. Glad I didn't dump my bag Smiley
528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE-ICO] Emphy.io - Decentralized lodging ecosystem on: November 22, 2017, 07:10:31 PM
Hi Emphy devs, congratulations on the completion of the ICO. I'm also pleased to see the strong performance on Etherdelta. Are there any updates on the bounty distributions?
Thank you for congrats and support! Emphy Bounty Campaign token distribution will be made from 23th to 24th of November. Please, follow our social media channels.

Thanks for the update, I've been scanning Twitter, but didn't see any mention of specific dates. Also, any updates on other exchanges? Your token price is boing bonkers on Etherdelta  - $0.240979 (+124.51%) - I can only imagine what it will do once it hits the likes of Binance.  Grin

hi,i just received the airdrop!thank's a lot!

Uh oh...airdrops released before the ICO is complete is never a good sign. Meaning you'll probably be able to buy them cheaper on Etherdelta than through the token sale. So that gives me the red flag I need, to know to stay well away.

Sorry for repetition if this has been asked before...You site says node owners will get rewards for providing compute power, but offers no details on what the rewards will be, or what will be required to run a node. Can you provide a little more info?
531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AIRDROP] SATOSHI (STH) - Anonymity and justice! on: November 22, 2017, 06:53:09 PM
Anonymity is good, but you'll need a site, whitepaper and funds to get listed on bigger exchanges. Any word on if and when these will be forthcoming?
532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [HMT] Hamster Marketplace - Campaign Thread - Bounty Information - HMSTR.IO on: November 22, 2017, 06:45:50 PM
Hi dev team, any answers for my questions? I'm an investor, not a fudder, so would like to find out more before I consider dropping money into the token sale hat.

Project looks pretty interesting, and a good alternative to the eBay and Amazon monopolies...three quick questions...

Will the platform exclusively sell goods from startups and smaller firms?

Will the products be focused on tech products, or will there be a wider gamut?

What will the fulfillment model look like?

Appreciate any feedback you can provide.

533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SALE] GEENS - Privacy Focused Blockchain Timestamping Office on: November 22, 2017, 06:39:04 PM
Hi Geens devs/admins, first-off, the project looks pretty interesting - congrats on launching your ICO. I skimmed through the whitepaper, so forgive me if these question are redundant...

From what I saw it looks like you'll be using things like S3 storage rather than relying on user driven distribution platform like FileCoin or Sia, do you foresee any risks in centralization, and is there any information on how the 3rd party infrastructure will be secured, beyond the private/public key signatures? Is there any risk of a mitm attack?

Also, how is billing and liquidity handled? Will the token be the sole payment method for the platform, and how will you control cost volatility?

Appreciate your feedback!

Hi DroidR17A. Thank you for the feedback.

Our storage is end-to-end encrypted, but it is not decentralized as in Filecoin, Sia or Storj. It is possible to decentralize Geens storage, because all data is divided into little encrypted chunks, and these chunks can be seeded by different users using IPFS protocol or something similar. But at the moment we don't see a reason for the decentralized storage, we are not competing with Filecoin or others, because we are not a data warehouse, but a blockchain timestamping service.

Regarding the 'mitm' attack, the attack can only be performed on the client side (from ISP or local wireless breach). But we don't see a significant risk here, because all data is encrypted on the client side and then transferred through encrypted https.

To control cost volatility, all official services from Geens and individual services from Geens users will be presented in USD (or EUR, depending on the region). These prices will have their expression in GEE tokens. The amount of GEE for each service will fluctuate according to the GEE market value.

Thanks for the response. I did a little more digging into the whitepaper last night and I'm very impressed by what I'm seeing. Will be joining the token sale at some point over the next couple of days. Wishing the team the best of luck!
534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [PTOY] Patientory Healthcare on the Blockchain on: November 22, 2017, 06:28:09 PM
new roadmap will be hot in December   Wink

https://github.com/patientory/roadmap

They will build own blockchain and own coins? How we can swap tokens to new coins? I hope 1:1 and they will not increase the number of coins?

Looks like it would still be an ETH based smart contract, so if anything it may be a reissue or a side chain. I don't think these guys will develop a ground up blockchain.
535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage on: November 22, 2017, 06:22:31 PM
Big update and new roadmap will be lauched on 11/30. I read it this day

Not to doubt what you're saying, but please provide links/sources so people can validate your statement, otherwise it's just worthless hearsay.
536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TenX: Making Blockchain assets spendable on: November 22, 2017, 06:18:32 PM
The main problem I see here, is the same one I see across this entire forum, namely a bunch of immature investors, who expect instant gratification. 90% of companies launching ICOs have no product at time of launch, and most don't intend to have a real product until at least a year or two later. TenX is making good progress in a VERY difficult area to gain traction and jump over the regulatory fences. Like I've said before, show me one other company that is doing it better. thing is, as much as people FUD on this thread, nobody has yet to answer that simple question.

It takes time to get something this game changing off the ground, especially when many governments are doing everything they can ho hinder the market. If you can't take waiting for a while, sell, and let the rest of us buy your tokens on the cheap. Otherwise quit whining. Put up, or shut up.
537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POWR][UPDATE] *** POWER LEDGER TOKEN SALE STARTS FRIDAY 8TH SEPTEMBER *** on: November 22, 2017, 06:05:59 PM
The thing to take note of with POWR is that unlike 90+% of ICO based launches, they had a successful business model long before they decided to launch a token. They already have a product, network and deep ties to the business. Most ICOs are pump and dumps with a roadmap several years out from the ICO, most of which never materialize, leaving bag holders with declining value. POWR will undoubtedly have peaks and troughs as all cyrptos do, but the long term growth potential on this is head and shoulders above just about anything else out there, bar a few exceptions.
538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: November 22, 2017, 05:58:03 PM
More good news for Ripple coming out of UAE's RAK Bank.

Source: https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/uaes-rak-bank-partners-ripple-instant-blockchain-payments-india/

RAK Bank, a retail and business bank in the UAE has partnered blockchain startup Ripple to power instant cross-border payments to retail customers to India, the world’s largest remittance receiver.

The age of blockchain-powered, instant, low-cost bank remittances is slowly taking shape. RAK Bank, also known as the National Bank of Ras Al-Khaimah, an emirate in the UAE, is plugging into Ripple’s global bank-centric blockchain network RippleNet to enable live retail remittance payments to customers in Axis Bank in India. The private lender is India’s third-largest private bank and joined Ripple’s bank clientele earlier this year.

In a statement, RAK Bank chief executive Peter England said:

By using Ripple’s Blockchain solution to power international payments, our customers can now send money home easily and in real time. Joining the Ripple network is in line with not only our Blockchain strategy, but it also allows us to expand our remittance footprint.

According to a report by the Emirates News Agency, the UAE-based bank will launch ‘instant, frictionless and secure money transfer services’ through its RAKMOneyTransfer (RMT) to Axis bank customers based in India within ‘seconds and with end-to-end visibility’ of the entire process of the payment.

Axis Bank, a major private sector lender in India, partnered San Francisco-based Ripple in January this year. The bank began using Ripple’s blockchain for cross-border remittance rails after early pilots in late 2016.

Axis Bank’s president of transaction banking Himadri Chatterjee added:

While there have been significant innovations in domestic payments, cross border remittance has seen limited developments. Using APIs and distributed ledger technology, there is an opportunity to radically change the way international payments are handled.

RAK Bank joins a growing list of other regional banks and remittance houses tapping Ripple’s technology for cross-border payments. In February, the National bank of Abu Dhabi – the emirate’s largest bank – laid claim to the first retail financial institution in the Middle East to enable real-time remittance with blockchain technology for multiple corridors between the region and Asia. More recently, the UAE Exchange, one of the region’s largest remittance operators with a presence across 31 countries also announced a partnership with Ripple for real-time cross-border payments.

539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TenX: Making Blockchain assets spendable on: November 22, 2017, 05:09:50 AM
I rather think the token is a ‘mess’, meaning that is is overpriced. Looking at the potential valuation, the current token price is still much too high in relation to the risks involved. This concern is increased by the total lack of information on when the first ‘dividend’ payment will be made. After all, this ‘dividend’ payment is just about the only thing that could give the token some value. But Mr Market does not seem to care and Mr Market is always right.

In respect of the TenX project, it is seemingly moving a bit slow because not many cards seem to be shipped out right now. But that was generally announced beforehand. The only issue I have with the project right now is unclarity when card issue can be ramped up. After all, this is needed to grow their core business.

So bottom line: the company could ramp up the communications a bit.
They have plenty of communications but most of it is to appease the TenX fanboyz who hang off every word they say, even as their token price crumbles before their very eyes.

I cannot stand it anymore. Some newbies fudding all over the forum. This is so annoying. Go fud somewhere else, thank you.

TenX has a working product. I love their working product. I know it is no scam. Why? Because I use my card and it works every single time. Always some newbies, bought some coin at the highest level, didn't look at the market, ignored the signales and just bought. Then crying like a litte baby, blaming others for their own faults. That's how it works with newbie accounts posting such posts like you: you lost money or you are one of hundrets of fudder accounts. Always the same.

Yes FUDders are so annoying, the only way that i recommend is: DO NOT listen to bitcointalk users that don't have above 150-200 posts at least. All these users that FUD  only have 20 posts from which 18 are to FUD tenx.

I wouldn't be surprised if their also shilling for all the BS TenX copycats that have no cards, and no potential of ever getting them. Really getting sick of the scammers and fudders trying to manipulate markets, and yes - good point about post count.
540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TIERION [TNT]Token Sale Starts on 27 July on: November 22, 2017, 05:06:52 AM
I did some digging on Reddit and decided to join the TNT Telegram channel and see if could get any more info. Sounds like the dev team is focused on getting the platform/infrastructure right before focusing on publicity. They're releasing a GUI for the nodes and should be pushing forward with end user/client adoption early to mid next year. May take a while, but hopefully it will eventually make a comeback.
