241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ixcoin TODO on: February 07, 2014, 10:47:45 PM
I see Ixcoin has been listed on C-Cex:  https://c-cex.com/index.html?p=ixc-btc

Yes,  that's 3 exchanges.  Vircurex, Cryptsy and C-CEX.  CEX.IO I heard rumors that they will have something soon.

The problem though with IXC is the liqudity?  Where are the buyers and sellers?!  Say I wanted to buy 1% of IXC,  200,000 IXC... I can't find anyone selling that much anywhere.  Same with selling,  say I want to sell 200,000 IXC... I can't find that many buyers.

What's going on?  It is as if out of the 20 million IXC out there,  only less than 300,000 IXC is traded in exchanges.

Scarcity.

When the big flood of investors start seeing IX, the prices are going to skyrocket because there is such a low amount of supply.

Expect big big things from IX in the coming months

That's a good point but if this coin is such a dud, why isn't anyone selling it?  I don't think you see this same issue with similar coins like i0Coin and others.  Cause 18 million coins is way too much to be hoarded unless the ones hoarding have some kind of plan.

We haven't heard from Luke for almost a week.  Anybody have any updates?

Thanks.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OpenEX new additions on: February 07, 2014, 09:46:02 PM
Where the fuck is Gridcoin?

Stuck in GridLock?
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ixcoin TODO on: February 07, 2014, 06:07:54 AM
I am a bit baffled by the voting volume.  I'm not seeing any unusual trading volume on vircurex or cryptsy.

It's very strange indeed.  Where are all these voters on triceder?  And we're still only showing 14 readers on Luke's reddit page which makes no sense if we have over 100 investors.

What gives?
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OpenEX new additions on: February 06, 2014, 09:32:17 PM

iXcoin please, 10 TH of security.  Only 3 other coins in the world can say that.

Thanks.
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ixcoin TODO on: February 06, 2014, 09:27:16 PM

Wow, iXcoin on a tear with almost 100 votes.  Where is all this attention for IXC coming from?
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ixcoin TODO on: February 06, 2014, 06:43:02 PM
A few shit coins brought out sock puppets.  Let's take to Facebook and twitter and get some more votes.

Edit:  Is OpenEX a big deal or is it another tiny new exchange.

I think OpenEX is a new exchange, but it's 100 times easier to get on a new exchange than to wait until everyone else is trying to get on.  So it's worth it to get on a few small exchanges.  You never know which ones will become dominant exchanges some day.  Be sure to vote.

Great point.  Thanks.

You need to vote if you want to add ixcoin to OpenEX.

Just voted.

AMAZING, iXcoin is in first place.

Everybody VOTE!
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [CENT] Pennies launched on: February 05, 2014, 03:07:21 AM
Is there a way to sell my CENT? It's stuck on cryptsy and can't send it to bter.com, so does anybody know a place to sell my CENT?

Yeah, you can sell it on Cryptsy and then transfer the XPM.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ixcoin TODO on: February 04, 2014, 04:50:37 AM

I just watched the video in question and all I have to say is, that totally amateur video has no business being on the front page of a newly launched "professional" website.

The guy thinks 4 to 12 is a double, and Blue Chip stocks are very risky stocks.  It's simply way amateur and he even says he's not sure iXcoin will survive.  lol, actually made me laugh.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ixcoin TODO on: February 04, 2014, 03:18:26 AM

Someone here has got to know Thomas or his email.  Just plead our case to the guy, maybe he'll donate it.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: -- The Riddle of the father and son - Who Was, is and Will Rule the World! on: February 03, 2014, 10:00:26 PM
The coincidences keep piling up!

Some insight into the meaning of the name Thomas Nasakioto; dev and founder of iXcoin.

Thomas = Twin in Aramaic

Nasa' = To lift up in Aramaic.

Kioto backwards is Otoik.

Otoik = Colonies in Greek.

Hence, the hidden meaning of Thomas Nasakioto or iXcoin (IXC/XIC) is:

"The Twin" to lift up the Colonies!

If true, then the world will soon start calling iXcoin "the Twin".

And that's when I literally poop my man-panties.

Somebody mark this post, please!

Marked.

So who wants to call iXcoin, The Twin, first?

I'll do it: iXcoin is the Twin.

Someone mark this post too.

But wait, there is NOT one shred of evidence aliens exist and in fact there is more real scientific evidence that a creator designed the universe.

I know we're wavering way off topic here, but I'm quite curious to hear what this evidence is

The sheer fact that everything in the universe follows a pre-calculated mathematical formula.

Even the frequency of the universe, have you ever seen its shape?  It's a heart!

Too many amazing things to blindly ignore.

i see you are ASSUMING it is 'pre-calculated' as you have given no evidence for any pre-calculation, you're simply posting your conclusions... I asked for what evidence you had... and i never said there were aliens, simply was curious what evidence you were talking about

I think he means the math the universe was here before us.  That the math is at the foundation of the entire universe hence it had to be designed or created.

Bitcoin's twin brother sounds much better than Bitcoin's little snot nosed brother.  lol.

If Luke is the marketer he seems to be he can really do a lot with this info.  Interesting, he was right on track with the little brother thing.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reshaping and Rebranding the iXcoin on: February 01, 2014, 09:31:32 AM

What happens to the massive premine that Thomas N. aka Old Miner did?

Does it go away in the re-brand?

~BCX~

Disclosure: I currently hold over 200,000 ixc from the 2011 days.

2.5% was not massive and even if it were, how do we get it from the weasel if he's gone?  My guess is he spent it long ago.  At least it wasn't more than 2.5%.  Many more iXcoins than that have been lost over the years so we're pretty even, except the weasel got a free ride.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reshaping and Rebranding the iXcoin on: February 01, 2014, 09:29:28 AM
Luke, unless you are more active on this forum, the crediblity of your proposal will be very low.

Yeah, he's never here and so far we've had to pay for the work he said he'd pay for.  I really don't understand his interest in IXC given he's never around.
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reshaping and Rebranding the iXcoin on: February 01, 2014, 09:28:40 AM
I would ask LukeConnell to remove the vote of Nasakioto from here

https://tricider.com/en/multiBrainstorming/CNvk

Until he doesn't pay the promised bounties, he has no right to vote for the future of iXc.

SORRY, My mistake, the vote there is Nakasioto, not Nasakioto. It smells, anyway...

So does that mean Satoshi voted too since Satoshi is there too?

Lol, let's not start deleting votes, it's obviously a joke unless you think Satoshi came out of hiding to vote for iXcoin.  Lol.
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ixcoin TODO on: January 30, 2014, 12:45:20 AM

"A dog biting its tail" condition. We need a way out. Learning from the crazy dogecoin results, we need excellent marketing along with good development (even a BTC-e or a BTC38.com exchange). And ... we need it ... now.
We need to  sparkle the process.

DogeCoin is an excellet example of what marketing and good development can do.  Here is a background:

Quote
Dogecoin was created by programmer and former IBM engineer Billy Markus of Portland, Oregon. He was originally trying to tinker with an existing cryptocurrency of Markus's called "Bells" based on Nintendo's Animal Crossing. His hopes were reaching a broader demographic than the investors who made up Bitcoin's economy and something that wouldn't be involved with the controversial history behind Bitcoin (namely its association with the Silk Road).[12]

At the same time, his friend Jackson Palmer, a worker for a marketing department in Sydney, Australia for Adobe Systems, and the original individual who first conceived of the idea for Dogecoin, was encouraged by a student at Front Range Community College on Twitter to make the idea reality.[13] This led Palmer to reach out to Markus.[14]

After getting several mentions on Twitter, Palmer bought the domain dogecoin.com, which was shown to Markus and quickly began the partnership between Markus and Palmer, launching the coin shortly after the development of Markus' Dogecoin wallet was done.[15]

So, if some dude from Sydney, Australia can market DOGEcoin to be big,  then some dude from Melbourne, Australia can do the same.

If some former IBM engineer can develop DOGECoin then some former IBM engineer can also develop iXcoin.

Now you're talking cryptic like Luke.  You're developing this coin so are you a former IMB software engineer?  Can we start being a little upfront here people.  Mr. Connell, we would all really appreciate it.
