161  Economy / Economics / Re: PREDICTION IS SOMETIMES LIKE A FALSE PROMISE on: April 17, 2019, 05:36:38 AM
First of all, you should never rely on predictions because it could be made to sell the news or hype people or the other way around. People who predicts the price even if they are best in terms of financial industry, they can always 100% wrong. They cannot control some factors like the economy or a crisis that could happen that can effect value of anything like btc.
162  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at $9,000 by the end of the year on: April 16, 2019, 07:44:30 PM
This isn't just wishful thinking, there are a lot of great signs in the market that point the way for Bitcoin to hit $9,000 by the end of the year:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIX2O6C6bWs&feature=youtu.be

That's too cheap mate. I think btc can still hit 12k or 15k by the end of the year even if there is not an official bull run happening. Then the year 2020 or 2021, that is where all the great stuff will happen and we will see trillions of amount of money poured into the crypto space and btc reaching 50k or more than that.
163  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't stress too much due to the bear market on: April 16, 2019, 06:58:34 AM
It's just all about the waiting game and how you see things in your own perspective. I'm starting to realize that bear markets are really long while bull market does not last in a few months or weeks so people should be prepared when those things happened at the right moment. Just monitor and let things happen because you can't force things that you don't control like the entire crypto market.
164  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin could still crash below $3000 - Vinny Lingham on: April 16, 2019, 02:03:28 AM
It's basically his own opinion guys so just don't mind him. Everyone can be positive even in the worst bear period that could happen at any moment while there are people like Lingham who wants to be negative when everything is turning to be a very healthy market.
165  Economy / Economics / Re: Study says 79% of cryptocurrency event attendees are men on: April 15, 2019, 11:37:42 AM
I think it is because the product needs to be very popular and talked about before women gets interested in it. It's like the product of shampoo and soap that they need recommendations first by famous people before they use it. Because when we talked about crypto, it still feels unknown to everyone and just only a few percentage recognize it.
166  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else think "long term" hodlers are idiots? on: April 15, 2019, 07:07:35 AM
For me, they are smarter that us. It is very clear that real long term holders are betting on coins that are on the top 20 - 30 in the marketcap. They value is always there for a long time because these wealthy investors know that it has a shot of getting used globally and give them a return much more than what they expected.
167  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is following the same path of 2017 on: April 15, 2019, 02:04:53 AM
I think it is going to be better than 2017. Everyone knows that the coin from Facebook is a huge deal and we are all expecting a tremendous growth in the market when it gets listed. Facebook got some issues but it's a most used brand like Youtube that no  matter how they  hate it, they are still going to use it just like the new FB coin. This time for sure, the market will hit trillions and btc having a new ath at the same time.
168  Economy / Speculation / Re: The market looks boring 2019 on: April 09, 2019, 02:25:55 PM
I completely disagree because things are now starting to rev up in the month of April and it's very early to say that the market is boring for the year 2019 when you only judge and post it in the January. You haven't seen what the first half is in store yet. And now bitcoin like what it always does is to prove you guys that it's not dead and now revive and doing its thing again.
169  Economy / Economics / Re: Know Your Customer on: April 09, 2019, 11:13:27 AM
For exchanges, ICOs that collect KYC information, when are they required to send information to the government.

If I remember correctly, in the US if you make a money transaction, such as through Western Union, or bank, $3,000+, within the same day, or smaller amounts during consecutive days, the institution must collect your ID information and Social Security and report it to the government. I forget which entity of the government.

Does that mean that if one participates in an ICO and puts in over $3,000, that gets reported to the government? Or if you move $3,000 out of an exchange, that gets reported?

I don't think so because the purpose of KYC in ICO is just to ensure that the investors are not coming from restricted countries. They just need any official id that is recognized everywhere in the world like your passport and all they really need to know is if that if your country coming from  still allows you to invest in any ICO.
170  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto as a payment method for goods: what to expect in 2019 on: April 09, 2019, 08:57:01 AM
I think it's going to be very effecient for all people who have business. Just imagine the convenience of auditing all the expenses or sales because they don't need to record it one by one and the only thing they need to do is to review all the transactions on that address that is reserved as the payment address.
171  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do You Believe Bitcoin Will Rise Again? on: April 09, 2019, 04:51:31 AM
Apparently, yes. It will succeed in the future because just that trustless feature can contribute more than enough to every business or industries that make huge transactions. We know how a  lot of businesses lose money whenever they lost all the audits or transaction details but they don't have to worry now because blockchain is here to save them.
172  Economy / Economics / Re: Time for investment on: April 08, 2019, 02:47:34 PM
Any suggestion for things that we could invest and make money at the same time
This is a good time to invest in ETH. it has increased from 132 $ to 180 $ and has not stopped. This is really a rare growth and we should take the opportunity. Many experts say that the value of ETH will increase to $ 205 and then decrease to $ 170. So you can buy ETH now without worrying.

It's a safe bet for  an altcoin like Ethereum.  If this  rally continues, then I am very certain that we will see it reaching $250-$300 again. I know that this is not a bullrun for another all time high but it is still a good start for anyone who are still not confident about investing because it clearly shows that things turn positive.
173  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the problem of trust in projects? on: April 08, 2019, 11:58:17 AM
There are so many scam projects going on. people are now afraid of joining ico.
1.  i think ico should be removed. because the frauds have multiplied and people are now having difficulty in distinguishing the truth.

2. if there is no money to develop the project, please do not try to project it. also from the ico when it comes to the stock market is not 3k 5k. even lower than the price you get. because the investor does not know which one to buy.

3. no one is buying token, my regimen does not want to spend 3 or 5 years. when it gets 10% higher than it bought.

4. there are hundreds of projects in each stock exchange. Someone stop them.

Agree, and that's why most of excited investors are participating IEO. It has less risk and the hype is great in there that gets completed in their softcap or hardcap in less than a day. All those projects that pops up everyday will always justify their need for money to speed up their development but investors can't guarantee that it will a successful or even have the quality to compete with other projects.
174  Economy / Economics / Re: the future of crypto is good or bad on: April 08, 2019, 08:05:00 AM
It's very promising and it's more than good. Cryptocurrency are reshaping our way of making transactions and it's for much more convenience. We can see that everything is getting upgraded on how we live like people don't have to wait for their show on tv and they decide when to watch it. And now our fiat is getting replaced by digital payments on online stores and then sooner it will be btc that everyone will be using.
175  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think Institutions secretly HODL Bitcoin? on: April 08, 2019, 04:59:10 AM
I only have a hunch that some of them do, or they have plans or just monitoring the btc marketplace very closely. But we know that they are have interest in it because they would not waste their time just to give opinion about it over and over again. Just like JP Morgan that always say nasty things about it but eventually made their own coin and who knows if they also accumulated more than enough btc. But I am sure they do and they just doing it secretly.
176  Economy / Economics / Re: KYC for penny money? on: April 08, 2019, 01:45:38 AM
I saw in my social media feeds that there's a lot of people now posting about free cryptocurrency that needed of kyc before you get a penny money. This people not think if it's will good to them to give their identity in any site for just penny money. Yeah it's free but your identity will be possible to use in any harmful doings.

Whats your thoughts about this?

I remember many sites have done that by submitting your documents to do KYC in order to receive their offered 'free' tokens. I will understand people if they fell on it back in 2017 or before but man, we are now in 2019. There were so many warnings in 2018 that we need to be very cautious of these scammy offerings.
177  Economy / Economics / Re: The bulls are back, bitcoin on the way to $5k on: April 04, 2019, 06:06:59 AM
It's now on the $5k mark and I'm still surprised until now. When we look back, we can hardly reach or stay in $4k in many weeks and it just goes back and forth in $3,9k for most of the time. But now, in less than a week a $1k growth has happened. It feels like 2017 and I hope the bulls won't stop until it pass $10k again.
178  Economy / Economics / Re: Can human stupidity affect the movement of the market? on: April 03, 2019, 01:11:53 PM
Hello, community. Political, economic and social news in the media significantly affect the life and behavior of the crowd. How can crypto news affect the movement of the market?

It largely affects the market most of the times. The FUD released by biased news articles or agency always works when there are a lot of newbies don't know how to react on what they read or hear. They panic sell instead of being rational at first.
179  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless Economy: Is Society ready for transformation? on: April 03, 2019, 04:30:13 AM
You can watch some of it on Youtube and you will be amazed on how they are adapting that cashless system especially in China. I saw them pay  using their smartphones for their gas, food and any basic needs of a consumer. I really see that convenience of doing that and I know that sooner the whole world will adapt it.
180  Economy / Economics / Re: welcome bulls , Bye bears on: April 03, 2019, 12:50:34 AM
Things are going on positive despite of all the negative expectations from haters to even the supporters that accepts that possiblity of $1k value of btc again. But we cannot push the price of btc 2x - 5x in a short span of month like before because exchange who fake their volumes are going to be caught so we are in a normal slow growth for the rest of the coming years.
