102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Serious question about Bitcoin. Is it a reliable and stable investment? on: July 10, 2019, 07:56:51 AM
Hi guys. I have a friend who's parents are looking for alternatives and want to invest money into something other than their IRA account. They have a fixed IRA with about $100K, but they are unsatisfied with the miserable amount of interest they're getting. I mentioned to them that bitcoin is a possible alternative and one they can look into. Do you agree? Do you guys consider bitcoin a reliable and stable investment for long term holding(5-10yrs)? Is it safe to assume the only direction(barring a few dips here and there) bitcoin will eventually go from here is up? Do you foresee it going below $10K, or even $9K ever again? Is it even possible to see the lows we saw a few months ago(ie $3500) ever again?

Please give me your thoughts. IRA or Bitcoin for the long term?

Going back below $9k is still possible but I think it only has a 10% chance. This time is going to be different because Mark Zuckerburg helped us to promote the good use of cryptocurrencies. His project opened the eyes of the world and telling them indirectly that blockchain and crypto is the future just like how how sees his social media empire Facebook when he was just still studying it.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge rewards, less value or Less reward, big value on: July 10, 2019, 07:35:46 AM
There have been a lot of posts questioning the rewards of campaigns in recent time, complaints about dev and team giving fewer rewards for campaigns. Many have eyes but cannot see, what is the use of huge rewards with no value in the future why you can be giving fewer rewards that will grow into something big if you can hodl, I will rather participate in a campaign with less reward and huge prospect than wasting my time overloading my portfolio with useless coins that will take me nowhere. If you really want to benefit from crypto, think less of what any new project can bring you new, think more of what you stand to gain in the future, be part of a good project. Don't be deceived by the promise of huge rewards that will deprive you of the future benefits which quality project can give to you. If you invest your time in good project today, even if the rewards look small, if you can hodl then future is certain. Be ready to sacrifice your today for your tomorrow.

Because before, having huge rewards with huge value at the same time still happens so bounty hunters used to choose them rather than cheap projects who are thinking they can outsmart their participants. But things have changed and neither of the two can be the best choice. I've seen less rewards having no value or less value so it still boils down to the luck of finding the project that has a good plan on their token.
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Willy Woo Reclaims “Bitcoin Will Surely Strike $1 Trillion Market Cap by the Sta on: July 10, 2019, 07:19:04 AM
OP, you should have posted the full title: " Willy Woo Reclaims “Bitcoin Will Surely Strike $1 Trillion Market Cap by the Start of 2025” "

Bitcoin Market Cap: $211 867 011 163 ( It's July 2019 )

in December 2017 the Market cap reached 325 Billion

What Willy Woo is saying is not impossible and not too exaggerated.

it's one of the most conservative bitcoin bull predictions i've seen. 5.5 years away and he's only expecting price to rise 4-5x from here. if we make a new ATH within the next year, i'd be surprised if we didn't reach $1 trillion market cap by the end of 2020.

Very, very conversative I believe. In my prediction, that 5 year is already enough to see btc having a $1m value. I also agree that $1 trillion is already within our grasp because I remember that when it happened before, btc is just on $20k and now the price is already $13k. $2 trillion is the most realistic prediction for the marketcap before this year closes.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BNB the Next Bitcoin? on: July 10, 2019, 07:05:41 AM
LOL, I also like bnb but you guys are praising the coin too much. It was designed to be a currency for the exchange itself. Another thing is that bnb is just dominating the market because the barrier towards adoption is still there. Imagine if the world with their reputable companies tarted to make their own exchange and their own coin. Binance coin will be easily forgotten.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Campaign After Getting Listed on: July 09, 2019, 01:40:00 PM
I notice that some coins that are already in the market are doing bounty campaign again like Credits, Veil Eterbase and among others, do you think it's important for a coins/tokens that are already listed to run a bounty campaign from time to time even if they are already listed in exchanges.

I guess people tend to forgot old coins and always move on to invest to the new so I think those listed projects are doing their best way to show them they are still alive. And doing a bounty is one of what they think. It's just normal in this market that new coins or upcoming IEO/projects covered the existence of the old altcoins because now that they just focus on developing for a long time. I think doing a bounty is a good way but not the best way, because the best way is partnership and getting adapted.
107  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency, KYC and Terrorism on: July 09, 2019, 01:20:15 PM
Some have speculated that terrorists have discovered a way to use the platform crypto currency to gather identities from different people from all over the world. use their identities for terrorist activities. From threads that i have seen, there are people thinking that some ICOs are used to fund terrorist acts by luring investors into investing into their companies, getting KYC in exchange of money, gather a large sum of it and then run away with big bags of bucks.
IMO, these scenarios have big possibilities since there is the anonymity factor feature of crypto currency, we really do not have the knowledge as to whom and where the money will go for when it was transacted in cyberspace.

what are your thoughts on this?

There is a chance that this could be true but where are the proofs? I've been hearing this whole conspiracy for many years but even the government who are accusing crypto with that does not even have their proof as well. I think that 99% of that the fake ICOs who run with the funds raised are just con-artists. They have much  more chance to pull this kind of scheme.
108  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin volatility here to stay? on: July 09, 2019, 01:03:47 PM
I highly believe yes. It is going to stay as the gold of the internet and just like the physical gold, it's value is volatile. Traders will prefer it that way and we will surely have an alternative altcoin that will serve as the currency of the internet. I'm imagining bitcoin in the future still having a volatility even after reaching $100k value.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Would Really Buy Facebook Coin? on: July 06, 2019, 07:57:35 AM
You just have no idea on how many advertisers that are using Facebook right now so that they can achieve thousand of sales. I'm pretty sure that facebook will impose the new rules in the future that these marketers need to buy Libra coin so they are able to run their ads on their gigantic marketplace. Hate or love it, Facebook's coin Libra will be relevant.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty alone is not enough on: July 06, 2019, 07:22:44 AM
It is still significant because most of the people that talk about crypto are mostly in this forum, twitter, telegram and etc. But it's only for small companies that don't have enough money to launch in IEOs that asks for hefty amount of money plus another amount of their coins. Small projects will have no choice but to depend on bounty but again, it's the project that is very important to showcase at the end and not the marketing.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Video call for KYC verification on: July 06, 2019, 07:13:38 AM
Video call for kyc verification?? Is it possible? Do you think it is the best way , rather than uploading your documents for kyc verification process? Most bounty campaigns and ICOs nowadays required a kyc.

If video call for Kyc verification is possible, what is the best and secure app to you use for video call

It's very inconvenient honestly. I can take a picture of myself with papers and dates but doing a conference call or somethings is big no for me.
There's the KYC selfie that many exchanges follows which is okay and we don't need to go further than that because if even fraudsters succeed on passing them, their dirty works will always stink to the nose of the authority.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice Needed on: July 06, 2019, 07:02:48 AM
I am looking to build or create a token/coin in the future with the least amount of coding, programming etc etc and i would like to know the communities opinion into which platform i should look into for the best available product, also i would like to see some different real use cases, what a good total supply would be maybe some names etc etc... Let me know. Thanks

If you are looking for a quick profit then the gambling platform on the blockchain is the go to. But if you are aiming for project that has a huge potential then it's on the AI niche. It's not going to be long until companies will start to offer ai services on companies and it's going to make them spend less and with the help of blockchain, it's much more easy to sell.

WARNING: #FAKETOSHI THREAD CONFIRMED ... - SWIM

I feel so very stupid reading OP conspiracy theory but I'm glad that you brother posted this. I laughed so hard when I see the app logos forced to be related in satanic symbols. Especially the one who made the Libra mocking image is a genius. But back to the original post, it should have detailed explanation instead of saying that he did 'deep' research to find that out.

114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anything can be bought by Bitcoin? on: July 05, 2019, 06:31:27 AM
By Bitcoin started buy and sell products in the market many days ago. By Bitcoin can be bought a lot of product now. Example such as, From Overstock.com, any kind of product can be bought through Bitcoin. Many such business entities currently accept Bitcoin as currency and sell their products. Homes has been sold by bitcoin in various countries. By bitcoin can also be purchased product on many online websites, and Amazon and BMW accept bitcoins.

It is assumed that, at this time using the credit card instead of the money, Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency will be used instead of money and credit cards in the future world.

I still prefer btc as a digital gold that be used as a currency for buying products like our basic necessities. If people see btc as similar as gold, it will be viewed as a precious asset because no one wants to use it or sell it and you would rather hoard it and keep it for many years. But if we use it as a currency, then it's just an ordinary as the fiat and its price won't appreciate so much.
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Media Is All Praises For Bitcoin on: July 05, 2019, 06:03:52 AM
If this article told us about the opposite then it's gonna be surprising and it just FUD so this post is just plain expected. Chinese people dominate the market. The top exchanges right now are Binance, okex and huobi and mostly chinese staff runs them. And if it weren't for China, btc is as good as dead in the last bear market. We should also praise them for keeping their faith in btc.
116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin remains the king of Crypto Market? on: July 04, 2019, 12:15:24 PM
They say Libra is a major threat to btc but we will never know. If Libra really did dethrone btc in the future then no cryptocurrencies can ever take its place because first is that it is backed by Facebook and I'm sure that those who uses FB will use their coin regardless of the privacy matter. But if Libra fails to do that then bitcoin will remain the king of crypto forever.
117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason we need cryptocurrencies on: July 04, 2019, 12:02:03 PM
The fees that those banks that subtly charge us is really huge when it's computed. Everytime we withdraw or transfer our money is really painful for ordinary people. That makes them very rich. But now it is time that cryptocurrencies are going to remove their privilege of stealing from us unnoticeably. The fees that we can save from the banks or remittances is already enough to lower the expenses of a family.
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people bought Bitcoin because of you? on: July 04, 2019, 11:53:58 AM
I am a bounty hunter and I only influenced few people that I know to work and earn for it. Every altcoins that they can sell for bitcoins is always their top priority which is the same as what I do. I think some of them told me that they only started buying bitcoin when it was on its peak on December and it's unfortunate that the money they used are loans.
119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to understand risk in crypto on: July 04, 2019, 11:43:19 AM
People can understand the risk within the world of crypto investment but they just don't want to do it. They are all driven by greed and FOMO and how do I know that? They are the people who will curse crypto when they got burnt and experience a massive loss. They knew the risks in there but they are putting aside the chance that they can also lose because they are in the midst of the bull run effect that you feel like that there is now way you are going to lose.
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good news for bitcoin holders, after falling price now Bitcoin Surges above 12% on: July 04, 2019, 11:27:52 AM

After the bearish trend, Bitcoin (BTC) is trying to gain back the momentum from the recent low of $9,657.

On June 3rd, the bitcoin price has gained more than 12% of its value in recent 24 hours, which is the best result out of top-20 coins.

According to 7-day chart, BTC is still down nearly 8% as the market is rocked by high volatility.

Isn't that very amazing? This just proves how strong the bull market that we have right now. I'm sure that those panic sellers made an exit instantly when btc touched $9k. And the good news is that we have many more months to push the price before the end of the year and another astounding all time high when Libra lauches their coin.
