I feel the market is done dropping, for the most part. It's corrected after the amazing bull run in 2017-18. A bottomed out bearish market is the best time to buy, imo. So in 2019 we should all be shopping for long hodls! I'm curious what other alts people are buying. I will be picking up ETH, ADA, XRP, WAVES, HLS and either NEO or OMG. What will you be shopping for this year?
Good luck with your choice friend. Because those couple of coins that are released in that same year with the coins you mentioned are now just making fake rumours to revive their prices. One of those instances is where Wanchain even created a falsified document and released it on 'leak' channels on telegram but it did not work. The new shopping list are the newborn coins that are really showcasing real products that are working and not just hype, a paper and marketing.

Hey, Guys, I am jak3, I came back after 1year. (i barely visited this forum in this 1year) but I remember when I left this forum there was a lot of bitcoin campaigns and a lot of discussion topics. But nowadays people are only talking about altcoins. Can you guys tell me what I am missing till now or what exactly did happen under this 1year? I do have some idea about merits thought. Hope I can get a grip back into the discussions.
To be brutally honest, nothing has happened last year and things in crypto space has only been active when IEO and btc came rising back. If you are talking about what you miss last year, then the good news is there is none. It was all about panic dump and depressing stories. Meanwhile, in this year, you have missed the great returns of IEOs few months back but it's not profitable now and not sustainable new format of ICO.

Hello friends, I want to ask about the most widely used exchanges for daily trading. Is Binance the best or Bitmax? Give your reason, aside from the volume. Nice to wait for your opinion here.
How dare you compare binance with bitmax? More like Shitmax because first of all, their exchange is made up of fake volume and wash trading. When you check cmc, bitmax' reported volume is very far from adjusted volume which is very, very suspicious at all. I even heard people saying it is the binance killer when all their IEOs are dumping hard or did not even pump. Binance still holds the top spot but we just don't know for how long.

Sorry to everyone that who still hopes for all the alts to comeback, it is time to wake up from that long slumber. I mean, come on. 1000% down from its all time high and if some are still dumb to buy thinking it's very cheap then you are in an ultimate doom. That means more bagholders that are going to dump that even if it there is an altseason right now, it would still be impossible to ever get back to half of its ath price.

Nice ranking but for me, I would exclude STO because it did not do anything good from the start it made a buzz and until the IEO arrived and buried it's name on the coffin. Some people would put IEO at top because it was a fast roi for investors which is a fair argument, but if we tally everything then IEO's success is only less than 5% of what ICOs made. Many ICO projects were launched to moon even it takes long to list and get pumped.

Ok guys so I have 500 CAD left to invest in altcoins, I decided to invest 3000 CAD in bitcoin and leave it like that. So for that 500 CAD (377 USD), please tell me if this makes sense. (I want to own a broad portfolio of multiple coins that have good odds for the future). All amounts are in USD for a total of $370. I'm open to suggestions.
50 Ethereum 50 Ripple 50 Binance Coin 30 Litecoin 20 Enjin 10 Iota 30 Cardano 20 Stellar Lumens 10 VeChain Thor 10 Pundi X 10 Basic Attention Token 10 Ontology 10 Zilliqua 30 Monero ? Eos 10 Tron ? Zcash 10 Icon ? Chainlink any other ? 10 Dash
I hate to break it to you mate but Chainlink is the only one which is going to survived in your portfolio also except Eth. If you have still not did well on your research, most of the main devs of the coins you hold has already left the project. Some left for good while some want to create another cash cow project made from hype so it's very disappointing. The others were just plain scam like tronconnect.

I think that Binance will go bankrupt soon because if hacker attacks and scandals with users database. That is why I want to know what exchange is better to use. I know that changelly is good, but I don't know about them a lot/ Do you know it? What do you think about
At the moment, there is no better exchange. The fact is that most exchanges have bots. However, the real trade on the banner. Therefore, many projects are so eager to get there. Better to trade on Binance. I agree but their reign will be coming to an end and the moment that they are going to be dethroned is inevitable. When you are on the top in the crypto market, all the eyes of hackers are on Binance and they are slowly getting penetrated each time the year goes by. The leak of KYC was the first. I think if you are on China or in Asia, Huobi would be considered better than Binance.

Hi guys, The bitcoin block reward halving is next year in may. Do you think this would lead us to a new bull run these year? What are you're thoughts
There is a pretty big chance for bitcoin but I don't know about altcoin even though I am very hopeful that it should happen. The price of bitcoin is still on a very good movement even though we have seen it dropped a couple time back to $9k in its bullrun so I think $100k is still on the possibility. There are many catalyst that we have to trigger that and most of all we have China to back it up.

All I can say is that those coins are so, so 2017. It has been a milking cow for traders and whales for a year a long time ago and the chances of getting pumped is very low. You should put your focus on newer coins because they have the most active shillers and their prices really move upward more than downward. The older coins can only be saved by the result of their developments which if succeed translate to all time high which is not the case in most of the time.

You can invest in crypto through easy means like bank transfer, credit cards and paypal if cryptocurrency is legal in your country. I can tell you that investing in cryptocurrency is good idea if you find a good project. There are many fake projects. So you should pick a good project for investment.
You need to be selective before investing your money, though it's still a good idea placing your money but you also needs to be more careful, many projects are scam but with the help of good research and studying your homework before making any investment, it's not that easy but it's very profitable once you got engage with the right team and project. And also, the money should not be big enough like you are investing more than you earn in a month. Just imagine the possibility of losing and becoming paranoid for many months because of your wrong decision. I know there is a greed part when you are in crypto but only use like 10% of what you earn so even if you did not profit, you always came up of thinking a new strategy when you try next time.

Once a day is enough for me because I shifted on investing on IEOs so when I got into their lotteries, those are only the days I'm very active on looking at prices. On the events of when the IEO tokens I bought is on the listing date, I look at crypto price most of the time on that day and then after the next distribution until I sold everything.

Besides BTC, there are thousands of altcoins. Everyday there are new currencies.
Other than top 20 currencies, what are hot and profitable currencies you think?
Do you think that fresh new currencies are always profitable?
But I don't have so many accounts in various exchanges to buy these altcoins. To be have verified accounts in many exchanges is difficult for me.
It depends but I somehow agree that newer coins has more attraction than the old coins. New coins is where marketing of sweet words is still there to hype us and get more buyers and holders while old coins are on the point of development and that is the crucial point where people will see if they can really deliver and if they won't then its over.

On my perspective, the greatest altseason was the best market roi but the negative side of it is it is also became the event that made people awake of the true nature of cryptocurrencies. So I have huge doubts if there would be another that we will experience because the media is powerful unlike before that traders will likely to shillers because the media does not care to write about it.

ICOs are now a fail not just in 2019 but also in 2018. People are still hoping a 2017 moon event but they never accept that after that, there are a lot of people who got rekt rather than profited. It's 1 every 100 people who invested or traded on bitcoin and altcoins had made 100x gains so 99 of them has been traumatized and they might not try to gamble again.

IEO is not sustainable but it's one of the things that makes crypto great again. It could still have its spark for another year but my worries are the first IEO altcoin that are listed and going to be forgotten so fast. People are in it for quick roi so if you are unlucky for buying a crap project when it gets listed then you are doomed. Those who got it on those lotteries are the real winners of these new scheme.

Hi! Everyone
What do you think is best methods to increase your Altcoin.
Invest in ICO? Trading? Hold? Others?
Honestly, IEOs are the only ones making the real profits right now. You join in for a month with the tokens of the exchange which is for lottery but before, anyone can join and invest so it is now very hard. But if you are a brave one then buy these new IEO tokens who did not moon on their trading day and pray for it to pump because it will surely do.

Are you aware that the current market conditions are really very bad? altcoin prices are down, while bitcoin is still enjoying its movements. if the market continues like this continues, I doubt altcoin will still be in the market. an investor we must have a good strategy to avoid this loss, - if you are not sure about altcoin, you can exchange it for bitcoin.
-If you still survive with altcoin, you need to update them with potential altcoin. as already listed in the top 10 rankings at Coinmarcetcap.
someone will survive in the market if you can control your own portfolio, so if you cannot manage your assets properly, you will not last long in this market.
Believe it or not,if there will ever going to be a next altcoin season many new projects will be the most favoured, because after spending a week entirely on research i have seen some very rare good projects that are still very new and havent get listed on CMC yet so some top 20 altcoins of today will be replaced by few rare gems soon You got it right. Just repeat and recycle the strategy which is invest with the new coins and cash out your profit on the older coins and leave them for good. It is just so funny when most people that go to crypto was really to get money but when they become attach to their coins for so long, they sound noble and will stick to it until it makes and exit scam or entirely delisted.

I’ll follow to iCoin. A real company with real product and money. Guess they shouldn’t be interested in “raise and run”
I am glad admins put a warning on this scam project. I have been in bounties and witnessed with the same kind of projects like backed with gold, silver or mining with emeralds or whatsoever and none of them really translate into real business. They can't even reach the first goals of their roadmap because they end up failing to raise money or run with all the funds and vanish after. So if you heard the same kind of scheme then GTFO.

Is this kind of platform still a profitable business? Since we are in the digital age where most have their own smartphones and other gadgets to take photos, I am wondering if they can still sell those photos? If you are being a practical one, I don't think you will buy a photo online when you can just produce it on your own. Just my thoughts...
Most people will usually go to stock photo websites to use what they needed and if you saw someone is selling their own then then their best means of getting paid is to put watermarks first in their works to show it and then get paid if the buyer likes it and then he will give the photo with different quality and no watermarks. It needs no blockchain at all to have that 'trustless' system.
