I believe in cryptocurrencies more than i believe myself.  That's the spirit who deserves to get benefits of this growing economy. But then there is one question, are we taking enough risk what we believe this much  It should be. No more risk than our trust. Thanks for adding. Dev team is a must before deciding to invest or not and its mention above. Realistic goal is also very good. If the goal of hardcap is too high, it similar with the high supply and high price. Its not good to invest there. The existing product note is important because we can see a lot of projects which did raise a lot of funds but after that their token price is dropping like boobs with age.
I agree on OPs list but i would like to add some more.
1) Idea explanation. It is very important that the project can explain their idea in simple way. If they cannot do it ,they are over complicating things which is one of the reasons why startups fail or they just dont care about the idea and project. KEEP IT Stupid simple.
2) Look for their attitude towards details and graphic design in their project webpage, telegram , bounty and ann thread. it does show that they care about their project.
3) Country. I dont want to induce nationalist discussion. But country / region matters. Economy and regulations differ in regions.
4) In some cases projects already have raised some momey in different way which could be a good indicator . For example IcoPass has managed to attract money from " Horizon 2020" which is not a easy thing to do. In most cases this one will be similar to " existing product" criteria .

I am familiar with people who also participate in generosity companies. In any investment, you need to put in your mind that there is a very high risk of lossing. Its part of the business. If your loss already 50%, you dont need to sell it immediately because you dont trade for a loss. All you need to do is to hold it, because there is high chance that you may recover.
You need to be extra careful once you are busy in trading as one wrong move can result in huge loss of money. However, the thing is you just need to be patient even if you suffered this much of loss. The only possible way to recover that loss is to remain there in this field as quitting of trading will never help you in getting back what all you lost. You need to learn from the mistakes which resulted in this much loss of money. If i am already losing 50%, i am kind of people who is patient. Teh problem is not just patient because our patient is not worth if the price will not recover. Thats the problem for me. |

I'm not sure if you consider having a Russian dev a good thing or not, but in case you consider that a negative, some of the best projects in the market (like ETH and waves) are Russian. Yes maybe that the reason why he want russian people lead the project. Because they already prove that russian has more ability to build the project. But remember, although russian is good dev but not all of them are good and honest. So looking their track earlier is a must. |

now total market cap in coinmarketcap is $449 billion, while total market cap in live coin watch is $446 billion (including korean market). there is a difference of $3 billion from both, maybe something wrong in the live coin watch and I'm still using coinmarketcap.
3 billion if in general marketcap does not mean big impact. So we can use both site to compare the total of marketcap. As normal i prefer to use coinmarketcap since i can see many other thing and not only the general cap. |

Investing in another coin would be the wrong thing to do if you know that Bitcoin is unstoppable. What is the purpose of this question? I think the purpose is not just investing in one coin like bitcoin but want to invest in other cryptocurrency if still profitable. I dont think bitcoin will always unstopable. Something also going down. Take both advantage between bitcoin and other altcoins are good choice to try. Of course bitcoin will not always go up. of course there are times when bitcoin prices stop to go up and then down. that is the risk of investing in bitcoin. whenever bitcoin price will go down and if you are not patient then it will hurt you. I think while waiting for bitcoin price to recover you can try another alternative investment that is utilizing altcoin for profit on the other side. there are many potential altcoins that can give you an advantage. of course altcoin is still worthed to invest Yes you are right. In the first page already mention some of website that normally allow us to check their rating. I know its not 100% pure but at least the website will help you to find a good one. However, if you are lazy then you will close to lose money. |

What happened today? As i saw in the market almost all the currencies is down even the BTC is super down. Is time to buy or not? Or do we need now to sell what we hold or not? For you what is your best opinion or best strategy or best advice to all newbie.
I guess it's because the situation around Tether. Every single player at the market suspect them in issuing of USDT which are do not backed by a real USD. Plus there are a strong tie between issuing of USDT and the surges at BTC. Even Cindicator app asked me yesterday if USDT drops to 0.5 USD by the summer or not due to this problem. Not only that. There some other reason but i dont really care about it because now i want to try other strategy to prevent this situation. Strategy should be good for preventing more bigger losses. |
