I think the safest way to log in MEW is via keystore/json file and don't forget to bookmark MEW homepage on your browser, so everytime you want to login always access MEW via bookmark manager to prevent you from MEW fake login page (phishing).
I do this everytime i login into myetherwallet. I click the bookmark and never login from unsecure link in any site. But i still login with private key, so can it be dangerous? Because i already bookmark the website? |

My choice (not advice  ) is CIBUS + SAVEDROID. CIBUS because I like their project of using blockchain to give transparency to suply chain of food. SAVEDROID because they are already running since months and already have a huge customers database. Hope to see their ICO success... I dont know all of token ico that you mention above but savedroid is good choice. As i know, the ico is still 17 days left and the token has been sold equivalent to $33k. |

This is good also for additional but i dont see if the distribution is really important. I know if too long maybe can make our investment stuck but as i know that the diatribution is not too long and its around maximum one month after ico but mostly less. |

If you find a Project or ICO that looks scammy, what steps do you take to warn the community? Do you just ignore and go on to the next one?
How we can make sure wheater the project is really scam or not? How if wea are wrong to say scam to legit project? It can kill the project itself. If i know how to make sure it, i will not go to the next one directly, first i warn my friend not to invest then this forum at the second. |

I think it is not a dream that ethereum will reach $10,000. On the other hand, I think it is nearly impossible to see that value in a near future. In my opinion, ethereum needs just time and more popularity. Am not the ethereum reaching $10000 but those who understand the price increase of that level will prevent it. The steady rise in value is one of those factors that is keeping the coin from attacks from the world What attack mate? Hacker or something else? Etherium now has enough value in my opinion. If the price goes up slowly, i dont think thats the problem. the problem comes when the price goes up rapidly and quickly. |

Of course it will exceed 20k$ in the future. Bitcoin has no limit if you ask me. It is like any economic crisis, first it happens to be glorious, and then it falls down then rises again. Same as bitcoin. Hopefully, it will go back to its feet in a matter of time. Do not lose faith in bitcoin!
I dont lose my faith in bitcoin specially and cryptocurrency generally. I am also pretty sure it can break the highes high before. Volatile is the characteristic of it so we can not avoid it but we can hold to make the price rising. |

Hello there... I am from India, and Bitcoin is still in the grey area here. It is not legal, but it has not been declared illegal either. But the government has explicitly stated that Bitcoin is not recognized as a legal currency here.
The government is still working on deciding a framework for it, but we have absolutely no idea about what its verdict will be. So, people here are trading in Bitcoin for short-term gains. Make hay while the sun shines!

I hope many people can avoid the scam ico. I was missing the working product, I am doing all of the things that you have said but I was missing the working product. I think its a the huge indicator for ICO for being success. Many ICO planned to have a kind of product but in the end they never produce the product. I hope I have merit to send you, but I don't have one.

The first thing I check is the white paper, and the campaign manager who are managing the related bounty if they have, review his file and his review, it's a plus point....

I think everyone knows that before investing in any ICO you need to study everything as much as possible. No one wants to risk their money. In this case, the risks are of course reduced, but not completely disappear.
We dont need to be disappear because nothing is free of risk in the world. We can not delete the risk for the whole thing but at least we have the option, thats reducing the risk. Thats why this thread being created, the purpose is to reduce the risk and not to delete it becuase it can not be deleted. I know this thread is far from perfect but at least i want to help with my low ability. |

ICO investment and pure gambling might have some similarities since both things do have risk on losing money but i do agree on the fact that ICO investments is much more worth to risk since we can able to suppress the risk on losing money if do know on the things we must supposed to do which is "research". I cant argue that majority see with these investment are just really good for short time profits not tending on going for long term. There might be some projects that are good for long term but they are only few in numbers.
Agree. Because the number of good long term project in ico is not so many, so its more difficult to choose which one is worth for long term. Like you say, mostly is for short term. Because it will involve higher risk if we hold for long term. |

Every country are starting to ban. What if USA ban? how will it go?
I am not seeing a little hint about bitcoin being banned by such country's most likely USA. It is great that we or this countries are being given their people a freewill to stand on there own or do anything for themselves since there is no such reason to do this thing. I would think it all should start with the realization that every ICO is basically one big gamble. Even ICO's with great teams, workings products and all those important things can still fail. Also, not everyone is interested in a long term relation with the product. Most are just in it for the short winnings. Even crap ICO's with massive hype are still able to give massive ROI.
Not to say that every ICO will be worth the investment, but some that one would certainly rule out when using factors mentioned before can still be a huge gold mine when you are in it for the $$$ (and I think most are).
I think this is the real reason why people join in cryptocurrency specially ico. They like to win and bring alot of money home. No one here want to spend money without getting income. Its true that all of mention can be the 100% factor which make the ico success but at least we do research to reduce the risk. In gamble you can not reduce the risk although you doing research. |

Because no matter how good the white paper and the technical route, we can see everything from the open source code.
I never do this before. Its sound interesting to do this before investing. What is the link of github? Can you share here? And what is the meaning of the code? How it will be connected to ico project to make sure the ico good or not? Thanks You should the total supply of coin,because it will give you an idea how much time do you need to wait for you to get your desired gains from an ICO.Investing in an ICO needs a lot of research before getting involve in any of these because nowadays ICOs are being created just to raise funds,then you will be just suprised that your investment is all gone.
