61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MyetherWallet Security on: February 20, 2018, 11:15:54 AM
I think the safest way to log in MEW is via keystore/json file and don't forget to bookmark MEW homepage on your browser, so everytime you want to login always access MEW via bookmark manager to prevent you from MEW fake login page (phishing).

I do this everytime i login into myetherwallet. I click the bookmark and never login from unsecure link in any site.
But i still login with private key, so can it be dangerous? Because i already bookmark the website?
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your favorite ICO on: February 20, 2018, 11:13:33 AM
My choice (not advice  Smiley ) is CIBUS + SAVEDROID.
CIBUS because I like their project of using blockchain to give transparency to suply chain of food.
SAVEDROID because they are already running since months and already have a huge customers database.
Hope to see their ICO success...

I dont know all of token ico that you mention above but savedroid is good choice.
As i know, the ico is still 17 days left and the token has been sold equivalent to $33k.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What we need to check before investing in ico? on: February 20, 2018, 11:10:34 AM
Here's what we need to check before investing in ICO:

The team - members relevant experience particularly in crypto and check their previous projects and the results.
Ann Thread of the project and the Whitepaper
The involvement of social media
The purpose of their project. What is their token for?
The hard cap
The token distribution

This is good also for additional but i dont see if the distribution is really important.
I know if too long maybe can make our investment stuck but as i know that the diatribution is not too long and its around maximum one month after ico but mostly less.

These 5 Things You Must Know Before Investing in an ICO
1 - Is it a Copy Cat, an Incremental Improvement, or Disruptive Tech?
2 - How detailed is the plan? What is the road map?
3 - How developed is the technology?
4 - Who comprises the Team and Advisory board?
5 - Do they really need to raise Why?

Very Much good points , i will check these from now on .

Yes this is good addition and i think its good to add to the fiirst page.
However, people need to avoid blind investment by doing this research and doing check list which we can reduce the risk of investment.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you report scam? on: February 17, 2018, 03:46:37 PM
If you find a Project or ICO that looks scammy, what steps do you take to warn the community? Do you just ignore and go on to the next one?

How we can make sure wheater the project is really scam or not? How if wea are wrong to say scam to legit project? It can kill the project itself.
If i know how to make sure it, i will not go to the next one directly, first i warn my friend not to invest then this forum at the second.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS CRYPTO TRADING ADDICTION? on: February 17, 2018, 12:25:32 AM
I heard about a guy in Moscow, who jumped out of the window, because he lost all his money in crypto investments and trading. So, do we have a new free heroin here? Is it possible to get addicted to crypto?
nah thay guy is just a retarded thats why he manage to take his life and its not about crypto dont blame this community because of our own foolishness..crypto is about earnings and this is not addicting but must be followed and obliged to do even if it only give us pressure and palpitation sometimes because of scare to lose

Yes, we have to notice the risk first before doing anything so we can reduce something bad happen like this.
Scare to lose is normal because all people have that feel but at least we will be more ready if we notice the risk  before investing.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like airdrops? on: February 16, 2018, 02:01:44 AM
Hello guys!  Wink

Today I wanted to ask you, what do you think about airdrops?

As for me, I work in the KickCity project and recently we launched airdrop. I do really like the result! We have a lot of newcomers and new people who are interested in the company. If you want to join you can ask the team in the community

SO  Shocked

Are you taking part in airdrops? Do you like the result? What is the feedback?
Or maybe you are working in a project launching airdrop?

I think airdrops are great, they basically give us free tokens for a small amount of work. But I don't usually rely on airdrops specially if I want big rewards, I choose bounty campaigns over joining airdrops. I am not discouraging anyone joining airdrops but be aware of the information you give when joining airdrops specially if it's asking your personal information to be able to avoid scams.

What is the possiblity being scam by sharing personal information?
If they dont give our personal ID to do something scam, i think its not big problem. But airdrop is very close with scam so always becareful.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is 1ETH=$10,000 worth the possibility? on: February 16, 2018, 01:57:41 AM
What do you think?

I think it is not a dream that ethereum will reach $10,000. On the other hand, I think it is nearly impossible to see that value in a near future. In my opinion, ethereum needs just time and more popularity.
Am not the ethereum reaching $10000 but those who understand the price increase of that level will prevent it. The steady rise in value is one of those factors that is keeping the coin from attacks from the world

What attack mate? Hacker or something else?
Etherium now has enough value in my opinion. If the price goes up slowly, i dont think thats the problem. the problem comes when the price goes up rapidly and quickly.
69  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think bitcoin has hit its peak? on: February 15, 2018, 02:41:12 AM
Of course it will exceed 20k$ in the future. Bitcoin has no limit if you ask me. It is like any economic crisis, first it happens to be glorious, and then it falls down then rises again. Same as bitcoin. Hopefully, it will go back to its feet in a matter of time. Do not lose faith in bitcoin!

I dont lose my faith in bitcoin specially and cryptocurrency generally.
I am also pretty sure it can break the highes high before. Volatile is the characteristic of it so we can not avoid it but we can hold to make the price rising.
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How are your governments reacting to Bitcoin? on: February 15, 2018, 02:38:27 AM
Hello there... I am from India, and Bitcoin is still in the grey area here. It is not legal, but it has not been declared illegal either. But the government has explicitly stated that Bitcoin is not recognized as a legal currency here.

The government is still working on deciding a framework for it, but we have absolutely no idea about what its verdict will be. So, people here are trading in Bitcoin for short-term gains. Make hay while the sun shines!

How are your governments reacting to Bitcoin and what's its position in your country?

My government has been noticed about the popularity is spreading wider.
The government does not has very strick reaction. They prefer to warn people not to use it but they still allow people to use it specially online investment.

Thanks for adding, i will put your detail in the first page so people can know this.
I think some of your idea is already in the first page but i just quote to make different detail. I hope many people can avoid the scam ico.

I was missing the working product, I am doing all of the things that you have said but I was missing the working product. I think its a the huge indicator for ICO for being success. Many ICO planned to have a kind of product but in the end they never produce the product. I hope I have merit to send you, but I don't have one.

So now i hope you more aware regarding the working product.
Its the real proof of the project is really an exist company which need to raise money to develope the product.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What we need to check before investing in ico? on: February 14, 2018, 02:48:45 AM
The first thing I check is the white paper, and the campaign  manager who are managing the related bounty if they have, review his file and his review, it's a plus point....

I know it can be used for reference but its not all about the bounty campaign. Bounty campaign can be newbie because its from the project itself.
However, this is not talking about bounty but talking about investing in ico.
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The advantages of bitcoin on: February 13, 2018, 10:41:58 AM
Yes, I think bitcoin also has a lot of advantages. Bitcoin helps people solve the payment problem quickly and safely. Bitcoin is the most valuable virtual currency today. That attracts many investors to invest in it. Bitcoins also bring many opportunities and potential for future economic development

As the most valuable cryptocurrency, bitcoin do its job to survive and it lead the other altcoin price.
I think bitcoin is really needed to make people interest in crypto world. Because at the first joining, people will ask about bitcoin and not other altcoin.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we help bitcoin grow? on: February 13, 2018, 10:38:30 AM
Bitcoin doesn't hold the promise it once did, explosive growth and adoption, now the only explosion in adoption is the number of segwit users. People are using the lightning network before it's ready, potentially damaging the bitcoin ecosystem.

So I ask you, what can we do to improve bitcoin adoption, reduce fees and protect bitcoin for being crushed by regulations?

I am not the people who can help this in technically because i am not expert.
To reduce the fee is only can be done by developer. The only way we can do is holding bitcoin and make bitcoin survive event better price.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What we need to check before investing in ico? on: February 13, 2018, 10:35:19 AM
I think everyone knows that before investing in any ICO you need to study everything as much as possible. No one wants to risk their money. In this case, the risks are of course reduced, but not completely disappear.

We dont need to be disappear because nothing is free of risk in the world.
We can not delete the risk for the whole thing but at least we have the option, thats reducing the risk.

Thats why this thread being created, the purpose is to reduce the risk and not to delete it becuase it can not be deleted.
I know this thread is far from perfect but at least i want to help with my low ability.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What we need to check before investing in ico? on: February 10, 2018, 02:09:34 PM

ICO investment and pure gambling might have some similarities since both things do have risk on losing money but i do agree on the fact that ICO investments is much more worth to risk since we can able to suppress the risk on losing money if do know on the things we must supposed to do which is "research". I cant argue that majority see with these investment are just really good for short time profits not tending on going for long term. There might be some projects that are good for long term but they are only few in numbers.

Agree. Because the number of good long term project in ico is not so many, so its more difficult to choose which one is worth for long term.
Like you say, mostly is for short term. Because it will involve higher risk if we hold for long term.
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Any chance for USA to ban bitcoin? on: February 10, 2018, 04:40:30 AM
Every country are starting to ban. What if USA ban? how will it go?

I am not seeing a little hint about bitcoin being banned by such country's most likely USA. It is great that we or this countries are being given their people a freewill to stand on there own or do anything for themselves since there is no such reason to do this thing. There is no person being harmed or any sector.

Yes its true. Bitcoin and cryptocurrency are being used there in USA.
USA is one of biggest country which accept bitcoin to be a currency so no reason for them to ban bitcoin.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is garbage. on: February 10, 2018, 04:37:08 AM
i guess bitcoin is not a garbage bitcoin can use to you daily needs. but you can spend more time to make your bitcoin to get more income .. 😃

I think most people not agree with you by saying bitcoin is garbage.
I think bitcoin is related with this forum. Stay here will make you being a garbage.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What we need to check before investing in ico? on: February 10, 2018, 04:34:12 AM
I would think it all should start with the realization that every ICO is basically one big gamble. Even ICO's with great teams, workings products and all those important things can still fail. Also, not everyone is interested in a long term relation with the product. Most are just in it for the short winnings. Even crap ICO's with massive hype are still able to give massive ROI.

Not to say that every ICO will be worth the investment, but some that one would certainly rule out when using factors mentioned before can still be a huge gold mine when you are in it for the $$$ (and I think most are).

I think this is the real reason why people join in cryptocurrency specially ico.
They like to win and bring alot of money home. No one here want to spend money without getting income.
Its true that all of mention can be the 100% factor which make the ico success but at least we do research to reduce the risk. In gamble you can not reduce the risk although you doing research.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What we need to check before investing in ico? on: February 08, 2018, 01:30:02 PM
Most of the time you can check out the code for this new ICO project at gtihub.
Because no matter how good the white paper and the technical route, we can see everything from the open source code.

I never do this before. Its sound interesting to do this before investing.
What is the link of github? Can you share here?
And what is the meaning of the code? How it will be connected to ico project to make sure the ico good or not?

You should the total supply of coin, because it will give you an idea how much time do you need to wait for you to get your desired gains from an ICO.Investing in an ICO needs a lot of research before getting involve in any of these because nowadays ICOs are being created just to raise funds, then you will be just suprised that your investment is all gone.

Thanks for suggestion. Make sure the total supply also very good. And its include in whitepaper. But i will add separately.

Note : your suggestion is appreciate to add the detail above.

Thanks for suggestion. Make sure the idea also different with other. It will make more attention from investor.
