201  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Bitcoin <--> GoldMoney on: September 14, 2011, 02:19:56 PM
You may be interested in Open Transactions. You can issue digital gold with it.
you can trade it there for digital silver, dollars, bitcoins stored in OT servers, ripple credits and any other currency that is compatible with OT.
I have to admit that I don't really know how it works technically, but it seems that you can do what you want to do with it instead of a chain.
It is cash-like and transactions can be instant (even with bitcoins).

Also, there can be n number of markets in OT.
You just have to define the asset pair, the server will create a market for you!
202  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predict market movement on: September 14, 2011, 07:17:10 AM
Most people would like the market to move so that they can make money.
I used to be a holder, but it seems trading is the only option to recover some ground
203  Economy / Speculation / Predict market movement on: September 14, 2011, 06:38:02 AM
Which way will the market move in next 48 hours?
Looking at the trend, after a lull, there is always a storm Smiley
For reason, please reply to the post Smiley

205  Economy / Exchanges / Re: www.BitcoinExchange.cc - BTC/SLC - Western Union, MoneyGram, MoneyPak, ACH/Wire, on: September 13, 2011, 07:54:15 AM
I would absolutely not do business with this man. I'm currently hoping he is incompetent. I think a Mod should flag the title or something. I would not recommend a scammer tag yet.

Who?
BitcoinExchange?

Seems mtgox display error
208  Economy / Speculation / Re: Massive spike to $7 sunday 3PM BST on: September 11, 2011, 03:12:05 PM
It's hard to trust MtGox if they let trades happen at $15 and not process $10 trades.  It completely distorts the market and is like a lottery win for the lucky guy at $15 and not a market.  If MtGox wants itself to be taken seriously it must address issues like this.

There was probably no trade at 15.

Yeah... just a display bug I guess
209  Economy / Speculation / Re: Lets start rally! on: September 11, 2011, 03:11:11 PM
I am definitely in for the long run.
I must admit would like profit, but I am definitely in it for the long term, no matter what my position is currently
210  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crash to $2 imminent. Willing to bet. on: September 11, 2011, 03:07:40 PM
I bet on $100 that bitcoin will crash to $2. I am certain because everytime it crashed, it first went up 1-1.5 dollars. Today happened the same, from 4.7 to 6 15.9499 or more.
211  Economy / Speculation / Re: Lets start rally! on: September 11, 2011, 03:06:59 PM
I guess thread was a failure.

Price fell $2.50 since.

Price has risen by about 8$ since this thread ...
LOL  Smiley

214  Economy / Speculation / Re: Massive spike to $7 sunday 3PM BST on: September 11, 2011, 02:52:19 PM
What was that? High:15.9499

Did anyone's order got filled at 15.9 or even 12-13?
Did I make mistake by not having orders in that price range Huh
215  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Got in too deep too late! on: September 09, 2011, 07:18:28 PM
I am in too... no point in selling at this point... either you get lots of profits with bitcoin's success or you loose full investment as bitcoin fades away (unlikely).

Most would go with 1st option, rather than bailing out with loss

220  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: where do i get a mtgox-bot ? on: September 08, 2011, 10:02:09 AM
Not always.
Normally, if you dont have much money in exchanges, the bots wont be much useful.
