If i put 3 grand for a CPU graphic card mining rig , would i be able to get my cost back in half year?

If you buy used components then you can resell it back later without big loss. And GPU profitability depends on your electricity cost   Wink

Within the next year or 2, I'm pretty sure. But this bubble needs to finish deflating first. Mt Gox's problems have really distorted the market.

the bubble already deflated. It seems the new low price is $100

Your right, hard to see the price can go much under $100 given the money invested in ASICs

Bitcoin can rise up to $1000, if some big events happen like war between US and russia or china.

You mean WW3 ? I doubt bitcoin will be usefull at all then

Does the bitcoin price generally go up on increasing mining difficulty?  Huh

I believe mining difficulty goes up as bitcoin price increase, but now we move from GPU to ASICs so we have wait to see
1380  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: BFL Monarch - Delivery Dates on: August 25, 2013, 07:57:36 AM
I seriously doubt anyone will see their Monarch cards until at least March of next year. With the current backlog that BFL cant seem to overcome nor honor it sounds like a pretty good timeline.

They may get the first prototype before Q2/2014 but given how slow they ship current orders you will be lucky to get it in Q2/2014
