461  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for escrow on $1mm deal on: January 15, 2016, 08:40:25 AM
I will never go for an escrow where one does it for free or a much lesser fee because it seems too good to be true for me.
No it's not to good to be true.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1102721

Then a 4 of 5 multi-sig or more than that will definitely work. Also I would like to add that each one should share their valid identity proofs though video taping because $1M isn't a matter of joke. Nobody should just judge a person having +1000 trust with that amount.
That's what, If you know the real identities then it decreases the 99% risk involved out of a hundred.

Nothing in millions
Well you said, no one here had any experience with thousands of BTC. Just gave an example of the closest(except the ones you listed)
Yes of course, those are the closest.
462  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for escrow on $1mm deal on: January 15, 2016, 07:38:28 AM
Definitely not online. NO NO NO NO & NO.
Thank you. What do you mean by "not online"?
Meet the people in real world and proceed because of this and many other reasons.

it's that they want someone who can't be bribed to collude with one counterparty. The legal contracts and real-world identities would deter bribery.

" Hey i need you to do something that helps me greatly but i dont wanna pay you shit for doing it!!!!"
Most of the popular escrow's are on DT and with some right's,right ? but what do you think are their duties ? The most common is to save people from getting scammed or basically protection of the forum members. Not just to make people red and violate as you think.

If you need your cut for everything you do then why the fuck are you trusted and even involved in a business which requires security for members in one way or the other ? (not accusing you but in general)

Sebastianju has been es-crowing since years and he doesn't has any fees. This guy is a clear example why the forum people should respect DT and value them for the effort they put on saving people from scams and other possible losses.

1% is way too low IMO but possibly doable being as the size of the deal is large but less than 1% youre not gonna find anyone but a theif.
OK, so you need more than 10k $ just to throw away some days at max ? I don't think he is asking bill gates to escrow.I doubt if everyone is money hungry and a thief if they aren't.

Definitely not online. NO NO NO NO & NO.

I would say that only two people who are well familiar (experienced) with thousands of coins are these two, you need to ask them bout the anonymity issue though.

Lets not forget John K. (max amount 1k BTC for forum), Danny and Dabs(max amount dealt with is, ~10 BTC)
Some other people who have conducted high amounts of BTC for escrow
Garr255(200 BTC)
Blazed(400 BTC)
Nothing in millions and what is there to lose ? while trusting someone the first thing to consider is the gains and losses for him.
463  Other / Meta / Re: Whats the deal with Theymos? on: January 14, 2016, 08:25:14 PM
Some one could sue you because of taking millions basing on this forum rules and not explaining it.It's doesn't applies anywhere else. Now you came to my point.
To clarify: I have no access to any forum funds nor have I ever had access. You can't sue me for anything, nor will there come a time in which it would be possible for you to sue 'Lauda'. Good luck suing a pseudonym on the internet; Back to the topic: As far as theymos is concerned, the money is being properly spent. If you want to investigate then you are free to as long as you don't start ignorant (at best) posts on reddit claiming that he has done something bad with it without evidence.

lol lol lol I am not talking bout you bud.I will not sue any "  pseudonym on the internet " and the reason is already available in my above post.I care bout my coins not who is losing and who is gaining. No, i wont dig probably as i sort of experienced a trust previously and i have seen how they twist things and repeat it like a religion.

However,I don't come to conclusions until i know stuff & these are just some basic rules i would stick to.I wont take anyone's side anytime but only hope that my coins increase in value and not just simply collapse some day.To be honest why would i care if some shitheads gave their money to some fuckhead ? No reason for anyone to care as we are seeing a new ponzi scam everyday. But it shouldn't effect BITCOIN though, which sadly is happening.
I wasn't talking about you when I said "influenced by people".
I just made my point more clear by saying that.Nothing else.
464  Other / Meta / Re: Whats the deal with Theymos? on: January 14, 2016, 08:06:37 PM
Yes,this is what. The rules we make here and the way we ban don't apply to legal issues.
You would perma-ban him and mexxer will temp-ban and i will simply ignore but what law says is very different and of course no perceptions.
Banning has nothing to do with the law. The rules of the forum only matter in this case; or do you think that someone could sue me for banning them? That would be hilarious.
Some one could sue you because of taking millions basing on this forum rules and not explaining it.It's doesn't applies anywhere else. Now you came to my point.

Thanks for the link.  I only posted that as a possible answer to OP's response - I don't know enough about this shitstorm, let alone the technicalities behind the blockchain - to choose sides here Smiley
Then it is best to stay out of it and try not to be influenced by the people who try to convict a person before they even have actual evidence.
yes but what if the person is trying to hide it ? clearly a Con. No ?

However,I don't come to conclusions until i know stuff & these are just some basic rules i would stick to.I wont take anyone's side anytime but only hope that my coins increase in value and not just simply collapse some day.To be honest why would i care if some shitheads gave their money to some fuckhead ? what makes you think youre not allowed to? hes not holding a gun to your head saying you cant go do some digging on your own, use your brain ffs.
Cause the transactions are not public like other typical one's,either to hide or to stop being tracked.I don't know if i would dig or not and would be depending on the answer of his.

But i don't see what problem you got if i ask him bout that ? as he is the one controlling them and would be the best source for info..if he is open and not conning.

If he responds to my question then it would straight away answer it but if he doesn't then again it will simply answer it.

The question is rather dumb itself.
If you are satisfied with this then OK.

I think this will never be answered but who says it ?
anyways ,if you think your rules will be given any respect by the Law then of course nothing but delusion. It's money mate not a game to be controlled by forum rules which change everyday due to shit reasons & no convincing explanation. However I think thermos has got some really strong back-up which might be known to only a couple,if no then lol lol lol.
What is this even supposed to mean? Do you know how donations work?
I see people on Reddit wanna go legal against him.Yes,But I don't know what legal papers thermos makes the donors sign before they donate anything. It can change terribly and i can be wrong as hell.

Crap. Apologies, friend. I feel a temp ban coming on now  Sad
Temp ban for trolling, probably, can't see any other reason you'd be banned.
Permanent ban would be more appropriate if it was up to me. Such people do not even deserve a second chance.
Yes,this is what. The rules we make here and the way we ban don't apply to legal issues.
You would perma-ban him and mexxer will temp-ban and i will simply ignore but what law says is very different and of course no perceptions.

466  Other / Meta / Re: Whats the deal with Theymos? on: January 14, 2016, 06:47:01 PM
Maybe it was taking millions of dollars from reddit?

The Reddit ad fund received a total of 22.51357574 BTC, of which 12.15558457 BTC is still unspent and available, as stated in the /r/Bitcoin sidebar.

Addresses do not "naturally" send money or have balances: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/From_address . It's possible to make it so that an address's "balance" contains meaningful info, and some broken wallets do this by default, but I don't. For any of my addresses except ones that I specify, you should behave as if this is an address in a Coinbase wallet or something. All block chain information except for received amount is meaningless. I've explained this many times over the course of years...

How/what would you advice someone to research or explore to get knowledge of at least 80% of the transactions,or simply they are not allowed to ?
467  Other / Meta / Re: Whats the deal with Theymos? on: January 14, 2016, 06:14:54 PM
Did I ever tell you to have faith in theymos?
but you don't like people digging.

Nobody lost their right to free speech. People have lost the proper definition of free speech. The case is even more different on BTCT because theymos does very little to no moderation at all.

I'd keep the "freedom of speech" in quotes if I were you, this is a private forum and theymos can make whatever rules he wants(the moderation rules are reasonable and logical)
I got no serious problems with mod.. but i am talking bout legal issues. No censorship works their and you can get fucked real hard if you don't act mature with very strong evidence.
468  Other / Meta / Re: Whats the deal with Theymos? on: January 14, 2016, 05:46:23 PM
Community logic: Let's not spend time improving Bitcoin but let's rather spend time speculating and trying to find dirt on theymos. A very useful fools errand!

why is it foolish to ask now ? they even lost the freedom of speech ? This is not a religion to have faith in the messenger. They can go to any levels to inquire as people are investing their time and money in bitcoin.

This reminds me of the time where someone filed a complaint for misuse of donated money (money that theymos can use for whatever purpose he wishes;)
of course not,the law wont say that (anywhere around the world) unless the amount of money involved is negligible.
469  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for escrow on $1mm deal on: January 14, 2016, 01:22:18 PM
Hi,

We are entering a contract to sell approximately $1mm worth of BTC a month to a corporate buyer, in daily transactions of approximately $30k.

We would like to deliver the BTC to a multi-sig account where a trusted third party would secure them while we are receiving funds from the counterparty.

I saw the list of escrow agents on the forum but I think this is a bigger deal than they are used to. Obviously we would pay a fee much lower than 1%.

In addition, this would be done entirely in the clear (legal contracts and real-world identities!).

Please let me know if you know a guy who knows a guy who... :-)

471  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.05 BTC. Repay 1 Month with 15% Interest [WITH COLLATERAL] on: January 14, 2016, 03:54:46 AM
Why is the payment date somehow a month later than the original date?
Something doesn't add up here. "paying a friend" "buying money with fiat on January" I smell lies
If the lender agreed with the extension request of borrower, then there is no issue there. It's a deal between the lender and the borrower but if you have something else in mind and if you smell fish you can open up something in scam accusation or reputation section.

I'm not going to jump to conclusions or leave any bad rep, no need for that yet, I just found it strange that he somehow couldn't buy BTC like he said and needs another whole month without giving a valid explanation.

Hi Robert, it's fine.
I just need time to pay all 0.06 back. i dont have it for now..
So i just make a deal to have win-win situation here.
I still pay the interest and re-contact payment for first month.
So.. like that

Im sorry for make re-contract..
I think u sent that without any fees ? it is not confirmed yet. However , you can take your time to repay but only after the confirmation of the  tx: id
There is a chance that it might be returned back to you .
472  Other / New forum software / Re: New forum? on: January 13, 2016, 08:05:48 PM
I thought about removing signatures, since that'd really clean things up, but I decided that signatures (and especially sig campaigns) are too important to the culture here to remove.

I think the culture would evolve just fine.  It certainly would help control all the spam posts.   Undecided

Yes, maybe a test it's the better thing. Block the signature or limit the characters and see if the spam will end or not.. (I guess  : yes of course !).
losing the add bonus is a bigger problem to take care of than spam, which is already handled by bear.

They can buy one or more ad slot instead using the sig. campaign 'method' to promote their startup/site, I'm sure the spam will end ...
Yes ,the spam will of course get reduced by a significant amount but why would you advertise on a site which has lost 80% (or more) of the original (at present) traffic ?

---snip---
when there is nothing you can do bout it while not knowing every bit of it then it's better not to post bout it, unless you want to troll.

If you play with bitcoins, it won't be 0, however demo is demo.
Nice trap man but i ain't gonna get into that. It's really hard to get out of it and with a significant amount of risk involved.

I saw this image on many websites, but this project is not associated with any of them Wink
yeh i know but it is a nice co-incidence.

Can someone explain me how is it possible that in a timeframe of 8 hours I got not one but two stricks of 20 high bets when I was betting low?
I repeat, 2 stricks of reds in over 20 bets placed busting my dice rolls!
How is it random rolls and how is it fair?

That is what random is. Anything is possible, once i generated new seed pair, and started with a 15 lose streak at 2x payout, once i generated new seed pair, and my first roll was an 1100x payout win... Smiley
woah, all the PD moderators rolling the higher multipliers, maybe lack of tips from high rollers and stunna these days.
I also think you should change your signature to 'hero member'.
476  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM | No.1 for Cryptocurrency Gambling | Provably Fair | 3 BTC BONUS on: January 13, 2016, 10:34:34 AM
I would like to announce that I have received my 84 BTC win from FJ after they confirmed the win.

Just adding another +1 to FJ's credibility  Smiley

Your waiting has paid off and that is a good news, so this could be a lesson on why you should let the casino do their job and verify your winning for 10 days or more next time . If you have nothing to hide or nothing fraud has been done then there is no reason for you to not wait. Glad you solved all of this with FJ and got that 84 btc
It doesn't has any importance with time ,if the gambler has done nothing wrong then there is no need to make him wait for fun and as you like.I don't think it takes 10 days time span to verify such incidents. It's good that he got the coins eventually.
477  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetCoin.TM Bitcoin Casino | Poker | Slots | Sports | Live Dealers | And More! on: January 13, 2016, 10:30:42 AM
That was strange that break time  Roll Eyes.

Anyway, freeroll of betcointm are very rich, every day you can made something like 0.04-0.05 if you're a good player  Cool

I didn't realise you were "Campaign manager Betcoin.tm/Human Resources" when I was playing you in that cash game.

The other guy was complaining that you were playing as if you could see his hole cards and now I guess I know why he was suspicious. Smiley
I also ever lost from him one time when i play with him in cash game. He was get Full House from his card AA and i was get Straight to A. I lost around 30mBTC. Hopely this not happen to him

That was only lucky days for me. I've also lost many all-in against another player (bctmuser), so, I wasn't so lucky as you said.
Hmm.. maybe the campaign manger is having some internal connections with the casino and winning most of the time but losing sometimes so that people don't doubt. Grin Grin

they are run signature campaign since a long time and always pay on time and looks like all of your problem was resolved already
The signature payouts are nothing compared to this win. It's compulsory for them to check for it and of course it might not be on time.
I think there will be less participants from now on lmao...OP took 2+ years signature expenditure from the casino.
