it should make no difference being offline/online.
obviously it needs to be online to stake, and it can take time.
but you can turn it off and the inputs will still get older and gather "weight" which means they are more likely to stake when you do turn it on.

well, i just had my first 100 cube stake  maybe cubesteak for dinner today Wow! Awesome dude! Congrats. (Note to self - I need to buy more Cube.)  the stake is a little higher than 5% somebody posted its 5.45something, so i hit it at approx 1782 brining it to 1882 today. Nice! See, I knew I made a good choice. Now if the price will keep going up, we'll be good. No, it's just your assumption cause people who are staking 2k cubes a day are going to bring it down as hell. anyways it could be a long term fun ride. |

Is anyone else having problems staking floz ? It's been 16~ hours since the transaction is in the wallet and out of that the wallet was online at least 8 hours and no stake still.
Mines been staking like a boss. Mine is slow as I don't have a lot of coins but does stake. I think it has to be online for 6 hours straight (no gap in between) ? cause i have re-checked everything else. after i deposited coins i did nothing else no withdraws no more deposits its been staking since day one Yes, neither did i and the age is now 1 but still no stake. I can pm you the transaction id if you want to (around 4500 confirms till now) only other thing i can figure is youre loosing internet connection i dont know if it starts over when you loose connection i keep my wallet minimized at all times and connection up just to be sure that dont happen if it can It doesn't matters if i lose connection in between cause out of 1 day the wallet was online for at least 9 hours and still no stake . |

However if we have a fixed set of possible intervals from a range of Y (let's say 0) to X (100), where X guarantees 100% that the event occur you can start talking about probability. Well I think that is the point of Shorena's list; that's at least how I interpreted it from day 1. When I was talking about the non existence of randomness in computers, I actually meant something else. Given a set interval of numbers, where each number has the same chances of being chosen n amount of times, using a random function would result in some numbers being picked a lot more times than others. Correct and that is why there could be no probability when something is Random or is selected/opted randomly and vice versa. |

Random is very different from probability.
There is no real thing such as random in the computer world, and thus the probability thing can and should be applied. If your logic is assumed to be true then why the less probability one's become Legendary sooner than more probability guys ? what is the point in having more probability while the other one with lesser prob.. wins the race ?

The only thing you could say is that a guy has highest probability when he is just one step closer to 1050 activity and he doesn't needs luck to become legendary then. It's absolute.
