361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it normal to wait for 6 months for a bounty reward? on: July 14, 2018, 02:48:29 AM
That is certainly not normal and that is the delayed wage distribution. The rules of the ICO projects after completion pay the bounty hunter after a month. ~
Agree!
After I learned much about the bounty program, including the payment system. On average the distribution will be taking time 1-2 month. So, the postponement of payment until it takes 6 months is not normal. Because in my experience, the longest time to wait to receive the payment only takes 2 months.

But if it's the policies and decisions from the bounty manager and or the related companies is final, we should be able to accept the circumstances to get a delayed payment for 6 months.
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: For Bounty Hunters (Do You Have Time to Read the ICO Whitepaper? on: July 13, 2018, 06:49:37 PM
Is reading the Whitepaper helps a bounty hunter avoid being scam by scam projects?
Do you really read the Whitepaper or just relying on referral of other bounty hunters?

- Unfortunately, reading the whitepaper did not give us a guarantee to be able to avoid the scam projects!
- Sometimes I read the whitepaper and sometimes not. Reading all the content of the whitepaper makes me saturated.

For now, I never read the whitepaper anymore. For joining in a campaign, I just wait for the trusted bounty manager to publish a new campaign.

You don't necessarily need to read the whitepaper to understand whether a project is likely to be a failure or success.
Agree! Because in my opinion, who should understand the contents of whitepapers are the investors before they make an investment in the related projects.

~
To be honest I rarely read it except when I try to create content to follow a bounty program that requires me to read it to better understand the project so I can pass important points through my content
Yep, that's the best way for a content creator to get inspired. Because reading always can give us an inspiration

I have long been involved only in the bounty, because airdrops do not bring anything and see no reason to waste time.

364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC system at some program! on: July 13, 2018, 04:33:06 PM
For the function of KYC, try to read this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=454795.0. That is an explanation of AML/KYC.

what is the function of kyc system .. will there be any problems or risks that we have after we send kyc on a program?
- is there any possibility of misuse of our data on certain things..or what about the action of prohibiting the law on our data?
-do we have to be more careful in following a program that requires a kyc system?
- Yep, KYC has a big risk. The risk of your data which is a possibility to leaked and misused by irresponsible parties.
- I think so. You should avoid this system in an unclear program.
Well KYC helps a lot for determining multiple accounts and to avoid scammers.

~

I don't want to send my information to a unknown project makers because they might it use for fraud.
Agree.
That's why I always avoid the KYC system. It's very terrible

Maaf, saya mau tanya.
Saya posting di thread yang sepi, setelah itu thread tersebut di lock. Apakah post saya di thread tersebut pantas untuk direview?
Terima kasih.
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I stay away from this market? on: July 13, 2018, 04:09:03 PM
Uh bad, you have a poor mindset!
We all know fall is coming, which makes a lot of loss if we hodl in the situation "downtrend" like this, I can feel the same way.

Nah, I have two solutions that might help you:
1. Control your emotions and wait till bull comes. Is not difficult right?
2. Or you can do to cut-loss if you can't hold anymore, just leave it and do to cut-loss.

Now, it depends on your choice, mate.
367  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: Cara Jual / Beli coin atau token di DDEX.io on: July 12, 2018, 11:21:15 PM
~
3) Ketiga

368  Economy / Economics / Re: hackers becoming smarter than exchanges? on: July 12, 2018, 03:24:51 PM
My friend as a hacker said:
Quote
It is not easy to hack exchange for hackers, but no system cannot be hacked or leaked. The whole of the security system on the internet despite an exchange is not 100% safe and perfect. There is always loopholes and bugs etc. which hackers can easily to find it. And when the security system on an exchange is improved, they can still find it.

And the worst:
Quote
If a hacker can't find the loopholes or bugs, they will work together as a team to hack a site.

So I think, that means not caused hackers becoming smarter, they just use the loopholes and bug and or work together to infiltrate a site.
369  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Device Do you Trade on and Why ? on: July 12, 2018, 01:14:53 PM
Of course, I prefer to use a desktop device for trading. Because it is more comfortable, easier to read the charts and the view on a desktop has full support for using the trading tools etc. It is very helpful at all and lots of trading superiority using the desktop.
The last time I trade my tokens I was using my desktop because I need to have [a widescreen to avoid mistakes in doing transactions [1]]. We need to [open more tabs when we start trading so it's better to have a widescreen to switch tab as quickly as possible [2]]. I need to have a clearer view when logging in to sites that [involves trading transactions to avoid getting phished. [3]]
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can i trust EtherDelta with my Private Keys ? on: July 12, 2018, 12:14:11 PM
After EtherDelta hacked in DNS Hijacking (I do not to spreading the FUD, try to read this: https://www.ccn.com/cryptocurrency-exchange-etherdelta-hacked-in-dns-hijacking-scheme)
I do not trust EtherDelta anymore for trading by importing my private key. I'm afraid the same thing happens again.
So in the conclusion, You have to think about the risks before believing EtherDelta.
No, etherdelta has stopped development.
Now, be careful about using the etherdelta platform. You'd better transfer the tokens to a new address.
No! EtherDelta did not stop the development.

They are serious to develop their site, there is an update to its interface. Besides that, I am sure they are improving the security of his site as well.
371  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will you sell Bitcoins ? on: July 11, 2018, 07:31:01 PM
Although I believe in the future of Bitcoin as a cryptocurrency, my position to sell Bitcoin is it depends on my economic factor. If my finances are unstable, maybe I going to sell it at the current price. But actually, I want to sell Bitcoin when the price reaches $ 20,000 or more over.

373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are. You leaving crypto? on: July 11, 2018, 02:57:43 PM
I am seriously considering it.
There is no future in a small market cap that is pumped and dumped!

In addition, trading bots are running the show: milking everyone!
Never!
For me, crypto not only about cash, investment, trading, pump, dump etc. But crypto is the program science, many sciences I can learn from that. That's why I am interested to enter in the world of cryptocurrency and never to leave it.
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: So Much Scam Bounty on: July 11, 2018, 02:39:25 PM
Yeah, man! Trust only reputed managers and good companies.
Yep, you're right. But unfortunately, even the best reputation managers can't give the guarantee against the payment from associated bounty projects. We must understand that it is a risk of the job.

Do the research yourself and only put in work for campaigns that look legitimate.
Many people say to do their own research. But in the fact, doing the research of legitimate or scam projects is very hard.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Will you still use MEW? on: July 11, 2018, 02:10:56 PM
Of course, although web wallets like MEW are vulnerable to assets theft, hacking, etc. I still use MEW (only for transfer erc20 tokens). But I used MEW after integrated with MetaMask.

Unfortunately for those who use Hola. Hola is a free IP fake software, recently got a message from MEW about Hola hacking the MEW account. This is because the developer Hola tried to steal information from the utility. Nothing related to MEW. I still choose to use MEW. I have not encountered any hacked cases yet.
So, that means the cause is not from MEW. Maybe true about the developer trying to steal data and information from users.
Quote
Hackers, who TechCrunch reports have utilized what “appeared to be a Russian-based IP address,” have taken over the Hola VPN service. Over five hours, MEW users who simply had the Hola chrome extension installed and running have had their wallets completely compromised.
376  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Setelah 2 exchange Korea, sekarang Bancor, what next? on: July 11, 2018, 07:34:09 AM

377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To all bounty hunters around the world, you'll need to see this on: July 07, 2018, 09:14:37 AM
Hi, I'm a bounty enthusiast. I need you to answer my simple questions.

1. Do you love crypto?
2. How much is your salary in joining bounty?
3. Do you want to be a bounty manager? Then why you don't do it now and find a new client to be their bounty manager?
4. What if the bounty which you have joined in a long time but the project is not to be compromised a k a scam project?
1. Crypto is a science, I learned a lot about crypto. That's why I very love crypto.
2. I can not be sure how much salary comes from the bounty.
3. Never, a bounty manager has a big responsibility. I'm afraid the project that I manage to be a scam.
4. Of course, I am very disappointed, but there's nothing can I do, I only can be silent when my work is not paid because it is a risk of the job.
378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: my ether wallet pvt key just hacked on: July 07, 2018, 08:58:45 AM
last night some hacked my pvt key and steal all my eth and major eth tokens

can I secure my eth address or its now in control of hacker ?  Huh

Damn. Why can hacker steal your assets? Are you surfing on an unsafe website? Or your mistake that you input private key in the form airdrop/bounty?

Yes, you can always secure your wallet and your assets. But there is something you need to pay attention:
- If indeed you have been surfing on an unsafe website, you need to re-install your device, upgrade your antivirus, I advise you to upgrade to Antivirus  Pro. Maybe your device has infected some viruses and possibility the hacker steal all of your data.
- After the first task done, you just install MetaMask at https://metamask.io , and save the mnemonic phrase from MetaMask to the safest place!
- Or You can to buy a Ledger Wallet or Trezor, it's more secure to safe your assets.
379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MyEtherWallet Password on: July 06, 2018, 06:52:29 AM
I forgot my MyEtherWallet password. I don't see "forgot password" in MyEtherWallet website. Is this means that I can't change my password anymore?
~
The password only for login to your wallet using Keystore / JSON File.

If you forgot the password, you can't recover/change your password;
Copied from the MeW website:
MyEtherWallet.com does not hold your keys for you. We cannot access accounts, recover keys, reset passwords

Are you save your private key or you have a mnemonic phrase? If not, do not expect you can access your wallet, your assets will be lost forever.
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Girls in the world of crypto currency on: July 06, 2018, 06:15:35 AM
I have been trading crypto-currencies for almost a year now, investing, participating in bounty companies and building my own mining farm.
I wonder how many more girls are in this forum?
Or who of the guys is teaching his girlfriends and wives to invest and trade in crypto-currencies? It is very interesting to me!
I don't know how many girls in this forum. But my wife is one of the girls in this forum. Haha, I have the story about that.
I am teaching my wife about bounties and crypto trading, she very interested to learned and join in the world of cryptocurrency as an "amateur" Grin
After that, my wife joined in the Bitcointalk forum as well. I'm proud because she has a high enthusiasm for the cryptocurrency.
