1481  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Alert! Alert] Bitcoin QR Generator” lead to scam websites. on: September 07, 2019, 03:49:02 PM
Copy and paste the bitcoin address is the reallysafe method than any other and also we need to be sure that our device doesn't contain any malwares while doing this or else we will send the bitcoins to wrong address.
1482  Economy / Economics / Re: Hong kong and China war can lead to possible Bitcoin popularity on: September 07, 2019, 12:01:52 PM
Without any announcement or any official news related to it, I will not expect anything from both countries.
I have always believe that whatever decision China make can not affect Bitcoin and still have that notion.
Without either China or Hong Kong, Bitcoin will always be popular.
The history of Bitcoin should tell us that a country rejection or acceptance of it, (especially that if China) will not affect it.
When we got the news of bitcoin banned in China the prices starts to be extremely bullish so it actually did good thing to crypto when they tried to oppose it.
1483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple transfer 500 million XRP tokens to its Escrow wallet on: September 07, 2019, 07:18:45 AM
On September 3, the Ripple community has been greeted with the news that Ripple has made another huge transaction transferring 500 million XRP tokens from the Ripple Escrow Wallet to Ripple. Crypto enthusiasts, coin traders, and XRP investors have differing opinions on this move. Others perceive this negatively by stating accusations about Ripple’s price control agenda through the dumping of XRP tokens.
They are going to dump all their tokens and convert into something which actually might have some real value in future.

When you are holding something which's authentication is on someone's hand then you are in risk.
1484  Other / Off-topic / Re: Danger!! on: September 07, 2019, 05:36:29 AM
I think fiat is riskier than anything else. Today a 100 dollar will worth not even 50% of it's value after 20 years or earlier than that.

Dollar is not backed by anything, they can print as many dollar as they need/want. And other currencies are backed by Dollar. How long you think this system will sustain?

Invest all your money in something that had market demand and will have constant value. For me I found Bitcoin and gold. Property is another option but still it has risk.
Fiat never meant to be an investments so people who are having lot of money on savings account or FD they are losing their money slowly.

But investments means something which has productivity which either increase or decreases decides the prices for it.
1485  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cheapest electricity in the world on: September 06, 2019, 05:49:21 PM
Countries that produces electricity from nuclear reactor and old traditional way of charcoal burning can be able to deliver the electricity for cheapest at the current time period but this will definitely change in the coming years because when government using renewable sources to produce electricity can give more cheaper.
1486  Local / India / Re: What's you view on the court case ongoing in Supreme Court-Positive or Negative? on: September 06, 2019, 05:00:27 PM
I wish that Supreme court will lead the case in the favour of crypto currencies.

But I feel that RBI will argue that allowance of crypto currencies will increase that crime related transactions with very ease.

1487  Local / India / Re: New Committee Report favouring Digital Currencies and tokens on: September 06, 2019, 01:55:25 PM
When anything about cryptos is not sure in India still media claims that bitcoin is illegal thing in India.Recently I watched a video from reputed news channel that India banned bitcoin and other cryptos in 2018.

1489  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: {Beware}: Google accused of giving personal data to advertisers on: September 06, 2019, 06:36:10 AM
We all knows that google is a company run with the funds collected from these kind of things because they are giving everything for us free and getting our personal data as the cost for it.We may change the browser but still many people going to use google as their search engine so I don't think for the normal human to stay away from using google products anymore.
1490  Other / Off-topic / Re: addiction to drugs on: September 05, 2019, 07:05:00 PM
Drug addiction is the commonest thing among the youth. But once the person involved realize that he or she is addicted to it and needs help it makes it easy to to help out. But I'll advice any one addicted to drugs should take the following steps it helps
1.  Check the type of Friends you hangout with if the are into it change them
2. Listen to music I mean good music
3. Engage your self in sports.

You can't simply say young,it depends on which country you are from and what laws they have to restrict minors from intaking anything alcoholic or addictive.

Only people after their 30s are getting addicted to drugs for many reason as far as I know.
1491  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buying Bitcoin in Germany on: September 05, 2019, 05:57:29 PM
You can use P2P platforms instead. The forums, Paxful or Localbitcoins.

The procedure will be: His PayPal => Bitcoin (or his PP => your PP => BTC) If he can't trade himself for some reason.

Yeah, Localbitcoins was great solution. I was using them often without any problems.
Since October 1 they will add KYC procedure. So if you do not want to share with them your personal data - do not use it.
I think people can use that exchange without any KYC for $2000 per annum which is good for the one time sellers or buyers.
1492  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Lost Money on: September 05, 2019, 05:17:54 AM
I'm new to bitcoin and not savvy. I wanted to cash out online gambling winnings without a service fee and transferred it to a bitcoin account. I lost the program name I used to establish the account when my computer shut down. To solve the problem, I went back and transferred more online gambling money but it gave me a new bitcoin account number. Now when I log in, I get the new account number and my old account number isn't associated with my email address. How can I log in just using my old bitcoin address. The money has to be out there somewhere.

Thanks,

Brian
If your wallet creating new address for every transaction does't mean all the old funds were removed it must be added to the same wallet but with newly created addresses which happens with few wallets and gambling sites.

If you are not seeing anything on the older wallet means you got scammed bro.
1493  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Infographic] Three points to get merit (based on my experience) on: September 03, 2019, 01:46:48 PM
Improve your technical skills this will get you more attention and als the merits will follow.

Finding scammers may give more merits but if you are doing this just for merits then people will ignore you after some time.

People are flooding the scam accusations with the most obvious scam projects.  It just gets pointless after awhile, they are low effort scams that just clog up that board.

If you want merit the biggest thing is what section you post in.
META used to be most merited section in 2018 but I guess it changed now and mostly people making merits from local boards and least on other main discussion boards.

1495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Choose Lottery Instead Of Anything Else? on: September 01, 2019, 05:51:20 PM

—and no pressure after betting not like other gambling that you need to feel the pressure every bet

Depends on the player, for me the pressure will be high while doing lotteries because the draw may take hours or days until that we will have that adrenaline and fear of losing the money just for nothing.
1496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Choose Lottery Instead Of Anything Else? on: September 01, 2019, 03:33:51 PM
For me it's like choosing long term and short term. Wherein that's why sometimes there are some ppl prefered to bet in some lottery because of the high possibility to obtain quick money in a short time. yes we can say the risk were the same and activities but you know its very quick to earn than other betting options.
How can you say there is high possibility for someone to win lottery in long term.

I personally knows someone who keep doing the same thing everyday and never win anything in five years.
1497  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: How safe is Exodus Wallet ? [Help me plz] on: September 01, 2019, 11:28:07 AM
Couple of days before I read a thread on reddit which is about coinomi vs exodus and most of the people replied Coinomi is the best because people often faces lags while using exodus.

If OP you are only want to store bitcoin then go with electrum which is available on desktop as well as for android.

Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes what do you mean?
Use all your earned money for yourself not for the welfare of you country is the literal meaning of not paying taxes to your government.

Cool

If you want to pay no taxes then you will have to pay for everything. Transportation, insurance, retirement funds etc.
A system that doesn't require you to pay taxes is based on the fact that no good or service is on the government's hands. Something that leads to economic inefficiencies, thus it is catastrophic for any state.

So, let me ask you. If you don't use transportation (because you walk to work), and you don't have insurance because you never need it, and your kids support you so you don't have a retirement fund, why should somebody (government) steal much of your money to give to other people who want all the stuff you don't want?

Somebody pays for stuff. Why not the people who use it? Then you wouldn't have to support a bunch of bureaucrats for doing the office work to regulate all the taxes.

If the average grocery store customer pays $300 a month for groceries, but you only pay for $150 for groceries, should you really all pay $300 just so that somebody else can get $400 worth? Wouldn't you rather buy what you want, pay for it, and let the other people handle their affairs?

Get your hand out of my pocket. Buy your own transportation, insurance, retirement fund, library usage time, hospitalization, etc., and get your hand out of my pocket. Nobody says you can't go and donate your money wherever you want. But don't steal mine.

Cool
I am also not using the government offering facilities that much but still I am paying for it just because I was born in that land.Unfair though. Huh

If I have one more life,I would like to born where there is no government and taxes,so tht I can enjoy with what I have no need to beg from government.

His statement might be trust if the million bitcoins from the satoshi's wallet never moved until the bitcoin's existence but still there are other reasons for not using that bitcoin.
