1502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accidentally sent BCH instead of BTC on: August 31, 2019, 05:15:13 AM
thx for both replies.  I didn't send it to my own wallet so do not think I can access.  I will check out the blog.
If you did send to an address which is not exist still on their database then you have the chance of getting them back,I did refunded once from coinbase with the bitcoin itself while send to a wrong address but the amount I send it very tiny so I didn;t cared much for that lost amount but coinbase did good job by doing refunds the amount.

Bollinger bands and RSI indicator are the most preferred indicator for technical analysis by any kind of trader so you also can use this to make your predictions ad you already mentioned you are not going for short selling then being strong with fundamental analysis will be enough to make profits.
1504  Other / Off-topic / Re: Avengers End game spoilers. on: August 30, 2019, 01:35:05 PM
Me personally like this film,, it is a pity that Tony Stark died
Who says Tony Stark is dead?

Never forget that the movie tackles “Time Traveling” so in any case there’s a chance that all dead character can be back alive again just like what they did in the story line in which they back to the past to correct what has been mistakenly happened

So the bottom line is in case people keep on asking for The “Return of Iron Man”they can just simply turn back time and boom,Tony is alive again
Because its just a movie, anything can be changed as people's desire. Cheesy

Meditating can actually help! I used to do it everyday during vacation.
It freshes up your mind
I won't be effective if you are not practicing it daily.I won't take lot of time to do and initially it will look like difficult thing but once you made it a habit then you can feel the real change.
When I started meditating it was a very difficult thing for me until I made it regular activities! I find it very difficult to meditate consecutively for a week on a daily basis but I have to force myself having knowing the importance of meditation. Today, it has become a habit to me and without meditating I hardly go out of the house.
When we are doing it rightly and attains the relaxed state with full concentration then 10 to 15 mins of meditation is enough for a days and in the evening we may do it again if we got the time but the best time to do is at the time of sun rise.

1508  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: How safe is Electrum wallet? on: August 29, 2019, 01:56:04 PM
I installed Electrum and created a wallet there. All I know is the seed generated. I don't know private keys from the Bitcoin addresses it manages for me. And I don't see an option to get them from there. So, the question is how safe this system is? Won't I lose my bitcoins one day?

@bibonix Electrum wallet is safe and secured to use, but if you share your seed with others or download a hacked version then the wallet cannot protect you. There’re some tips I can share since I’m using Electrum wallet:

1) I would strongly suggest you to use Electrum mobile app, and not the desktop version as the recent hacks were targeted towards users who were using the desktop version.

2) Never update the wallet if a notification pops up inside it saying you need to update it, always go to their official site, or the play store and then update it.

3) Do not conduct any transactions on public wifi, those are unsecured and your wallet can be hacked.

Electrum mobile app is not much friendlier to use and there are lot of complications will be faced by the new user but as far as safety its good app but we don't have to forget that malware on mobiles also can steal our money so people need to be careful while entering their seeds for the first time.
1509  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Always Use 2Fa For Your Exchange Accounts on: August 29, 2019, 05:54:33 AM
Thank you for your advice. Do we believe that 2FA is strong enough though? I thought that is what became compromised during the Binance hack
During a hack of a exchange it is usually the accounts that don't have 2FA enabled that get emptied. Those that do are safe. The only way to bypass 2FA is to replicate the SIM card and get the 2FA codes sent to the duplicated SIM card.

I am not sure how someone would hack your F2A, somehow reroute the code to the hacker somehow? I think F2A is pretty safe. Ledger is basically an advanced F2A and the new mewconnect also acts as an advanced F2A
I am not sure if anyone has ever been hacked using F2A. It would be interesting to find out. Maybe someone who knows more then us can answer us?
Third party authentication recorded hacked and there are some ways to hack it actually.

1510  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Looking for Social Trading on: August 29, 2019, 04:00:02 AM
Hello everyone. I am curious is there a site where you can register to a network of traders (similar to Facebook) where you could discuss about markets, prices and other things. Find some trader and analyse him, how he trades etc. Maybe invest into better trader and share the profit.
I was looking for something like that, but couldn't find one.
What is the best social trading site you know?

If you want the bitcoin price analysis then go to Speculation

If you want the altcoin price analysis then go to Speculation (Altcoins)

And there are lots of different sections in bitcointalk which is also a social platform to discuss about cryptos.
1511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cheap Buy Orders on: August 28, 2019, 06:57:31 PM
In trading exchanges, there are buy orders which offer very far lower prices than the market prices.

Are these orders trustworthy? Will we get the coins we order?

If there is an order filled with the low price then the chances of this will fill in the next minute if its an sell order and it might never filled when it is a buy order,so setting price depends on everyone so don't believe anything other than your analysis.

It is one of the safe wallet but not 100% because electrum faced vulnerability on it couple of time as far as I remember and many lost their funds due to it.

The best way to avoid this is keep your electrum upto date.
1513  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to Keep Your Crypto Safe on: August 28, 2019, 04:21:17 PM
Things people need to follow if they want their cryptos to be safer:

Store them in a wallet (wallet which has private keys)

Use exchanges to exchange cryptos and move them to your wallet ASAP.

Ignore fake schemes of making unrealistic profits.

Keep your system from keyloggers.
1514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: USDX - is it really a stable coin? on: August 28, 2019, 02:28:03 PM
Hi, I am watching USDX since ICO and I am not sure if USDX is really a new stable coin or why the price is 10 times cheaper? Currently trading for 0.1USD on Exmarkets.
They claim to achieve 1USD in the future, would it mean a guaranteed 10x profit? Or it would mean that stablecoins can't be pegged to worthless tokens? The second answer looks more true, right?  Cheesy
Stable coin means they should have begun with a value backed by something but when they say the price will increase to value of 1USD in future then simply ignore that because they are trying to make money with one of the most reputed stable coin.

Yes, we are seeing so many so called stable coins, I even lost count of it. Lately, people just do not understand the most basic and the most important thing about the stable coin, which is reserve asset.
This project might be impersonating the reputed stable coins like USDT and UDSC so people need to be careful with stable coins and the tokens which didn't backed up by any value.

Meditation or spritual practice or whatever we call it as are really done by ourselves to keep our mind in relaxed state which is the first important thing needed to get our unwanted thinking out from us.The we need to concentrate on something which give more credibility to us than joy like the hard things which may looks difficult initially but when we done that it will bring the long lasting joy.
1517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New token project and support make new app on: August 27, 2019, 03:29:21 PM
I look many token project launch new app dapp.
It will make and promise about succesfull their project with launch their app at playstore?
Launching their app on the playstore doesn't mean they will be successful so potential is more important than other factors so ignore the projects with bad and plagiarized idea.
1518  Other / Off-topic / Re: Youtubers' qualifications on: August 27, 2019, 11:54:35 AM
Learn how to use video editing software. There are so many good videos which would have so many more views if the person creating the video actually took some time and learn how to edit correctly.
Videos with good quality has the better chace of making high views but the content what we are making is more important. If we are doing something which already done by thousands then chances of getting more engagement is less but when we got poor skills on editing but we got some unique content surely we will got attention by lot of people on youtube.
1519  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If you become a Bounty Manager later, don't do this! on: August 26, 2019, 06:18:56 PM
I did't see anything related to spam yet so I am leaving my words here,if someone going to manage a bounty please make it as spam free which is good for the forum and also for the project.Never hire someone just for the post and try to change the trend of current bounties where people posting some words and get paid for it.

Limit your participants to certain cap like 100 or maximum 500 then this could be manageable with high quality spam free management.

These kind of phishing emails were in practice for years so people might understand that this is nothing but a scam attack.I do receive many spam emails that you won 14million USDs for that you need to give all your bank details blah blah, but all I can do is just laugh at those messages. Cheesy
