Apart from the above suggestion you can try Localbitcoin or paxful to buy bitcoin P2P.Make sure you check the reputation of trader before making payment.

LocalBitcoins along with Paxful are great platforms, but what makes me not recommend them is that they require KYC/AML documents, which platforms like Bisq and HodlHodl(as far as I know) don't require. They sure have bad price spreads, but you can put your own buy/sell offers if you don't need the funds asap.
Risk in trading on a platform which doesn't require any verification process has potential scams like charge back, money laundering from an hacked bank account so we may face problems legally so better use P2P which got KYC for converting smaller amounts.

To get a reasonable outcome from protecting against government decision the people leading the agitation should be firm in their decision to lead for good and not to be bought over by the same government they are protesting against. It the reason for the protest is strong enough to encourage more people in that country to support the movement then at the end you guys will achieve your aims even if government should pay some people in their support you guys will win at the end. But once your reason is not genuine enough to attract good numbers of followers then you guys may not likely get good result at the end.
In India more than 90% of people are not happy with the changes made based on religious things and millions of people were protesting at every corner but still government yet to open their mouth related to this, next stage will become violence is that what government wants?
Government really need to be put on a serious pressure by way of the Economics activities stand still only then they will have a rethink about the bad decision they have made that led to mass protest. But if the protesters withdraw from their agitation just because of little pressure with the use of Police by the government then the government will have their way. You guys should stand your ground until the government call for negotiation.
So you are saying its okay to lose few hundred or thousands of lives to the riots from police which was pressured by government just to speak out the truth and good for the community?

That is why I said its better to go back the dictatorship rule than calling as democratic country.

There are a little number of individuals who mention religion On the opposite hand most of people respect people of the other religion. a number of us are those who work together to assist people regardless of the problem however much of what's happening has become very bad and lots of people are harmed.
But those few people were in ruling power so most people can't do anything against them?

Lets go back to dictatorship then.

1147  Local / India / Re: Bitcoin Ban Means India Will Get More Corrupt Under Modi — Tim Draper on: December 25, 2019, 01:02:44 PM
I agree to this point! The size of crypto community is too small to have an impact on the economy or even to the government, and that's good! Till the time this current regressive government doesn't bother about it, we are good! The moment they start thinking about it, we can only expect negative things!

I guess that when they have started diverging everyone's mind from the main topics like inflation and rapes to things like CAA and NCR, I think they have become so overactive that I believe the next number is going to be crypto's. They have been absorbing every single citizen of India and want us all to work like their slaves (yeah, fuck freedom, fuck Independence) and so, if some day they come up with a "perfect" law according to their mentality, to stop crypto, they'll do anything to mess up with our lives and not let us do what we want to do. This is why, rich gets richer and poor gets poorer in our country. Btw, Merry Christmas to everyone and a bump to this thread and the board too while I want to say - "ITNA SANNATA KYUN HAI, BHAI?"
I feel only they will target on cryptos to make things diverted from current issues like CAB and NCR when crypto community is huge enough to make the things go viral or else they will look for something else so as far now crypto community in India is safer hope it will continue until 2024.

How do you function in a society where everything is going to kill you , and all you see is misdirection and lies in a society that seems to thrive on it.

How do you function in a dishonest society?
Ignore the negativities. Try to be honest which is itself a challenge here but if you do then others may follow.

1149  Local / Off-Topic (India) / Re: Citizenship Amendment Bill and NRC - Good or bad for India? on: December 24, 2019, 12:23:35 PM
The situation has led to the doom of BJP. It lost in Jharkhand. Whatever it is, BJP shouldn't have isolated one religion when they know the tolerance level of the country is below 0 when it comes to religion.

BJP claims that India is a country of Hindus but it actually never a country before East India colonize there, before that it was just separated as thousands of small nations which was ruled by kings.

^ Citizens everything when they see currency note on the hands of politicians at the time of election time and also they get manipulated heavily at that time but the real voter should take all the actions into the account while voting in their ruling period to get much clear vision of what should be done.
1151  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Protest can give the right solutions? on: December 24, 2019, 04:48:46 AM
I read a news that US media released an article which portrays MODI the current president on India as Hitler because both of them have similar idea to be followed to bring changes in their country.

I did watched a video in the translated version, someone did have original link to that?
1152  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Protest can give the right solutions? on: December 22, 2019, 05:19:21 PM
First of all, if you want to change your country you need to properly select a good and honest leader and also smart because what's good in being good and kind if you're not fit for the position, that's why brains is also important.
India has the most intelligent people from my perspective and is leading in technology and cyber security with proper leadership it could quickly develop as an first world country.
No one expecting the current ruling party to win on the second time because they never done anything good for the people since 2014 but again they won more places than before and also still some talks that they are cheating election results with EVM machine but nothing was found yet and Modi ji keep doing the things what he wants and also he never forget to explore the world with expensive coat from people's tax money.

What kind of project you are going to do?

I have basic skills of adobe premiere pro and video editing is my hobby for almost two years now.

If you still need a professional maybe I am not the one.
1154  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Malaysian Prime Minister Dr M Welcomes Cryptocurrency on: December 21, 2019, 05:22:12 PM
Everyone using fiat money,so crypto currencies also should be common to anyone which shouldn't be controlled so making a separate currency for Muslims is like discriminating others and I will never support this. But this talk may bring some attention about cryptos in their country and helps people to research more about it.

1156  Other / Politics & Society / Protest can give the right solutions? on: December 21, 2019, 01:23:48 PM
If you are in India you may aware of how serious the protests are getting all over the India against CAB,but until now Modi Ji government said nothing all they tried to do is to supress the protest by using police attacks on silent protests, banning internet on the major cities unofficially and protests from their party members with paid protestants who supports CAB.

So protest doesn't giving the solution then what is should be?
1157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Cash the real Bitcoin? on: December 21, 2019, 07:18:54 AM
So i heard this guy talking about how Bitcoin Cash is actually the real Bitcoin. He says that Bitcoin is no longer what Satoshi Nakamoto originally proposed in the Bitcoin whitepaper.

1. It was supposed to be Peer to Peer but Segwit is destroying this.

2. On-Chain Scaling was supposed to raise as needed (Block Size)

3. Since Bitcoin scales on Chain , It has fast transactions.

Can i get your input on why he might be right or wrong?

No one stops you if you want to say bitcoin cash is the real bitcoin, but its just the forked coins and centralized which will never happen with bitcoin so which is original, decide it by yourself. Smiley
1158  Local / India / Re: Bitcoin Ban Means India Will Get More Corrupt Under Modi — Tim Draper on: December 20, 2019, 06:03:08 PM
Anyways, let's talk something serious, even if it gets banned in India, we've got so many ways to trade crypto, the only thing it'll involve is risk but uske bina kuchh possible hai hi nahi. Mountain Dew piyo, risk uthao aur khulke jiyo. Wink
Even if we got using cryptos if India banned, there is no serious issue just need to spend few thousands or lakhs based on the amount involved in your trading for bribing the officials involved. Smiley

How do you think is it possible to get caught in the first place? I haven't seen any person in my circle (who trades with almost 100% anonymity except the bank account, some even use third party accounts to keep themselves safe from being caught that way too) have been contacted by any banks or Gov authorities as they know how to play safe. You need little bit of patience and lots of awareness to get it done under the hood and never get caught.

Rapists are free in India, why crypto holders should be jailed?

Rapists will surely reach their destination - death, very soon when people will start taking laws in their hands and then break them (which is already started since CAA has been proposed).

Crypto holders are not criminals and hence, even if these guys will make any fucking laws to stop us, we've even got a list of law-abiding people involved with us who'll help us in evading those laws. I don't really want to go the bad way but if they want that only, let it be. See, some day, our Sarkar will start calling us "Aatankwadis" or "Naksalwadis" if we keep doing what were doing even after the ban, but you know? There are some places where we are actually right and these bald-brained (dimag shave karva chuke hain ye) dicksuckers are wrong.
I did mention that "EVEN",anyway it is not possible with the system to be honest.

Indian government is busy in playing Hindu political games so they may not have enough time for regulating cryptos which is far away from their knowledge.

CAB is the hot news, but they still silent on the shabas, especially Amith Shah. Roll Eyes
1159  Local / Press & News from India / Re: Indian Govt. committee is proposing 10 years jail for dealing in crypto on: December 20, 2019, 01:28:51 PM
It is the mindset more than the education that plays a role in decision making. If for example a senior politician say something, the others in the same party agree to it even if they do not. Legalizing crypto currency or not, India has already embraced the technology behind it.
If superior Modi and Amith Shah decides something to be implemented then anything will be possible in Indian democratic secular country.

Press the voting machine button for right cause, next time. Embarrassed
