Congratulations @ragavancoin.

The contest was a minor initiative to bring back the long dormant Indian board and hopefully I believe everyone has started being active here and some of the quality discussions has started taking place as well. We all can consider this as a little hopeful and positive start for the major revamp/reshaping we had been longing for all these days. This does prove that all we need is a little determination to change the board to the way it was prevailing back.

I am surprised to see lot of veteran members of bitcointalk are part of Indian country and I feel proud of it.Hopefully things will change from now on and Thank you for initiating the things to bring something new to the community.

Get united and bring out our local board as top among others.
1242  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do expert traders hide their loses? on: November 22, 2019, 06:49:30 PM
I feel they will hide their losses to keep their reputation to their followers or they will lose their influence of being successful trader which might affect their other source of income but the real truth is no one can be perfect trader.

not sure about the theory, because when they already have a lot of followers at least they will share their strategy or another leak before trading, so that when he has shared something at the beginning and then loses, his followers will still know his mistake. but about maintaining reputation is indeed something that makes sense when they hide their losses and i'm sure there are other factors behind it all
People see someone as their leader or inspiration when they can constantly get succeed on their doings so its the reason why those expert traders hiding them just want to avoid bad influence among their followers. Not everyone will be like this there are some who express their pros and cons but most will only show their positive side and they will hide their negative side.

Bitcointalk is not an investment its just the wealth, full of information but you need to dive in and find them because more spams than the actual informative threads just like this one. Cheesy
1245  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So traders, how much You lose? on: November 22, 2019, 07:39:53 AM
Actually I don't count the losses because it will make us more sad than what we are supposed to do,even stopped checking the bitcoin prices but saw price of bitcoin fell further below from $8K level so I am worried about we are reaching to $6000 again?

I am just a long term trader from now so losing will not be a problem because I am going to hold until the price increases.

^You can buy a sim at airport itself with very cheap price all you need is your passport so don't waste money for verification numbers.
1247  Local / Press & News from India / Re: Binance acquires Wazirx to offer Fiat to Crypto Gateway on: November 21, 2019, 06:24:15 AM
Starting Nov 25, Indians can buy and sell crypto from Binance with fiat (INR). As of now it's limited to purchasing Tether as in Indian exchanges.

What are your thoughts?

I see nothing big here apart from the fact that Binance suddenly jumped into Indian Market. I think most Indian exchanges will suffer because of this entry.
So we can send and receive money from the exchange itself right? Then we are in problem now because banks don't want any of their account holder to buy or sell crypto currencies since RBI insisted that.
1248  Other / Politics & Society / Re: a society question about vegans on: November 20, 2019, 06:32:57 PM
I don't think every vegetarian wants that though. Most vegans i know became like that through personal choice. They wanted to avoid meat though  they won't force other people to share their sentiments. Some of the are aware that we need the nutrition that comes from meat. They just choose to find alternatives and they apply it only to themselves.
Most people think that they are killing animals and eating them which sounds something weird to them but they misses the food cycle if we got imbalance at one stage then whole world will be in danger so if they did for personal preferece then its okay but if they are claiming they are good souls and who were eating meats are going to be in hell then they are just stupids.
1249  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Buying bitcoin with cash on: November 20, 2019, 05:39:21 PM
is it possible to buy BTC with cash in India? If yes, How?
Since the few exchanges that were allowing trading for Indian citizens have shut down after the RBI decision, the only way for people to buy/sell bitcoin with cash and kind are P2P exchanges.

1.You can use localbitcoins for posting a trade.
2.You can post a trade in this section for bitcoin and state what price you want to buy at. Some of the members in this section may be able to help you out with a personal trade. Please use an escrow before dealing with users with no trust or whom you have suspicion about.
3.There is a global currency exchange section under "Marketplace" in the main English forum. But same precautions should be applied here to about getting an escrow. That section is lurked by scammers.

i have been using lbc for a while now, didnot know that there is an option to post trade, i will try that  thanks
you can't use LBC for cash trades anymore but you can use lbc to get contact details of traders and contact them personally and find someone who is near your locality but as others said you need to be cautious while dealing with someone personally.
1250  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: [GOOD NEWS] P2P Exchange LocalCryptos Launches [NO KYC] on: November 20, 2019, 02:11:31 PM
I hope they will not ask the users to confirm their identity once they got more reputation in their business. They just changed their name right? Because these features were available in localethereum as well.
1251  Local / India / Re: FAQs Regarding Bitcoin's Status in India | Newbie's guide on: November 20, 2019, 11:49:50 AM
Trust me, from what I've experienced and even personally heard, they used to give a reply like - "Arre bhaisahab, agar hum itne padhe likhe aur technologically sound hote, to Police me thode hi hote, yaha m**vane me hume koi maza nahi aata. Ye Bitcoin shitcoin humari samajh ke bahar hai, agli base aana mat warna tumhe hi andar kar denge." This happened to me when I was scammed by a Localbitcoins trader who didn't send me the money after me sending him the money first. That was a stupid mistake by me in early 2017 and I caught ears not to go to Police ever to get anything resolved.  Lips sealed
You should contacted cyber crime headquarters not the police station where they have no knowledge about anything.

Actually there are some laws available in India as well against bitcoin or crypto related scams.
1252  Local / India / Re: How do YOU convert your Bitcoins to INR ? on: November 20, 2019, 06:43:07 AM
Step 1: BTC to ETH or BCH using https://CoinSwitch.co.

Step 2: ETH or BCH to INR using https://LocalEthereum.com or https://local.Bitcoin.com respectively.
Why this? It is also P2P transaction right? So we can use localbitcoin for converting BTC to INR directly!

Thanks for clearing up the things.

But it will be legal to trade crypto currency when we are an citizen of India if India completely bans cryptos even if we got the eresidency like mentioned before?
1254  Local / India / Re: FAQs Regarding Bitcoin's Status in India | Newbie's guide on: November 19, 2019, 05:19:17 AM
But I have a question to ask to community, let's assume bitcoin was made illegal overnight then what could be the best way to cashout bitcoins?
Creating an Estonian identity and operating under that identity would be the most legal option IMHO.
Sorry, I don't get it.

https://e-resident.gov.ee/

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E-Residency_of_Estonia
SO its like moving our nationality from India to estonia or just for the business purpose?

If we still get double residency as per India its illegal so how could we make this happening from India.

1257  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Depression and exercise on: November 17, 2019, 01:34:37 PM
There is inverse relation between anxiety and exercise. The more regularly you do exercise less will be anxiety
Quote
Regular exercise may help ease depression and anxiety by: Releasing feel-good endorphins, natural cannabis-like brain chemicals (endogenous cannabinoids) and other natural brain chemicals that can enhance your sense of well-being
https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/depression/in-depth/depression-and-exercise/art-20046495
Don't think any relation between these but if someone can do exercises regularly then they will less concentrate on the things which makes them stressful so distraction is the relationship between stress, anxiety, and workouts or exercise
1258  Other / Off-topic / Re: Love - its just a physical attraction? on: November 17, 2019, 11:58:13 AM
<....>
Just be honest, its happens with only few? It happens with 90% if relationships. Yes the things changes from beginning once they have been together for a while but whats the exact reason they got bored with the partner so they care less, cheat and others.

I am being honest. I don't know where you get the basis (data) of your scaling, but I think that's an exaggeration. Also, I don't know what you've been trough but don't compare your relationship to everyone else's. It's as if you're treating every relationship ever existed to be toxic. There are so many relationships out there that go a really long way. And as if you're telling me that their efforts and time are wasted.

Bruh, if this is what you believe stop there if you yourself experienced a toxic relationship, don't gospel it to everyone else like their relationships will turn out that way anyway.
I am not talking about basis on any stats,I will search for it if I can find any.

Maybe you got someone who truly loves you so you not aware of its happening but that's the reality people will leave you for reasons even if they loved you unconditionally.
1259  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Depression and exercise on: November 17, 2019, 10:34:24 AM
I think one of the main cause of depression is family problem and love(heart broken) that is my own observations why many young men and women are get into depression.
I do not think that exercise is the best way to avoid depression my opinion how to resolve this problem need a family and friend attention and support to forget all about hurt in there mind.
Understand everyone have their own problem like us so expecting some others to help in these situation may not be the best solution, get yourself up and motivate yourself, everything is temporary here so your bad and good are also that's life.
1260  Local / Off-Topic (India) / Re: Need Suggestion about Paytm Account. on: November 16, 2019, 01:23:47 PM
eKYC can give you full features of Paytm for one year but if you want to get the services continued then you need to visit a paytm branch and verify your account using your documents and thumb. You can also request to visit your home if you are from a metropolitan city.
