0% proportional fee for a few days, I like!!!!!

Gee, how many pools have had this for ages now?

Ya, but their payout is not as high

Are you on drugs?

Are you?

Mining on BTCMine (0% fee) for 24 hours = 1.17 BTC
Mining on Deepbit for 24 hours, during the 0% fee period = 1.55 BTC
482  Bitcoin / Mining / I just lowered my memory clock to 300 on: May 31, 2011, 04:23:03 AM
And it did nothing. My hash rate didn't change. My temps didn't change. I don't understand why this is recommended.
483  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: MSI Afterburner doesnt show any voltage on: May 31, 2011, 04:06:26 AM
Okay, thanks for the help. Seems like the only way to increase voltage on this one is a hard mod, but I'm not gonna do that.
I tried to push it a little bit and the card is now running stable on 990/300 (I'm not kidding) for some hours.
Getting 435Mhash/s out of it.

300 memory clock?

Why?

I had one of my 5850's running at 970/1250...but 990/300? Just why?

485  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I use a receiving address more than once? on: May 31, 2011, 03:59:40 AM
Are you sure?

I've waited an hour since I've sent the instant payout on Deepbit, and nothing...

Probably should have just used a new addess like I have been doing for the past ~20 transactions...

Correct, you are contributing a very minimal amount to the mining community. If I were you I would just stop, because the profit is too low.

I'm currently mining at 630 MH/s.
489  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: 3 x 6990 on: May 30, 2011, 06:18:24 PM
It's not possible. Windows allows for a maximum of 4 GPUs. The 5970 and 6990 is a dual GPU card.
490  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: MSI Afterburner doesnt show any voltage on: May 30, 2011, 06:17:38 PM
It depends on the design of the card. The one that works is an ATI reference design, the ones that do not work are likely of a non-reference design. Use Sapphire Trixx, it is known for allowing for the adjustment of the voltage regulators on non-reference cards.
491  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BTCMine - mining pool (zero fee, long polling, SSL, JSON API) on: May 29, 2011, 11:03:38 PM
Is anyone else disappointed with BTCMine's payout?

In what way?

I'm only getting about 1.2 BTC/24 hr Sad Previously on deepbit (maybe about 3 weeks ago) I got 4 BTC/24 hr, but I have sinced moved away since they dropped their PPS payout from 0.0004 to 0.0001. Every other pool doesn't pay as much anymore.

493  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: What Mh/s are you mining at? on: May 29, 2011, 04:18:20 PM
The reason why I want to discontinue mining is because pool payouts for me have decreased from 3 BTC/24 hr to something as ridiculous as 1 BTC/24 hr. The process has just become too inefficient. I would have to be mining at about 2GH/s to get the same reward as I did 2 weeks ago. And in 2 weeks it will probably be like 0.3 BTC/24 hr or something stupid like that.

Right now I am mining at 610MH/s
494  Bitcoin / Mining / What Mh/s are you mining at? on: May 29, 2011, 03:39:15 PM
I'm trying to decide whether or not I should continue mining since all the pools lowered their payout so much. I want to compare my Mh/s to others to see if my speed is too slow compared to others, then I will probably just stop.
495  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Deepbit dropped its PPS payout AGAIN on: May 29, 2011, 04:37:21 AM
Yeah, but Deepbit has dropped their payout from 0.0004 to 0.0001 over the past ~3-4 weeks. That's ridiculous. I can't believe there are so many people on deepbit.
496  Bitcoin / Mining / Deepbit dropped its PPS payout AGAIN on: May 28, 2011, 07:36:53 PM
I couldn't help but lol.

I'm much happier on slush's.

497  Economy / Exchanges / Re: www.BitcoinExchange.cc - Cash, MoneyPak, Dwolla, Gift Cards, Prepaid Debit, LR on: May 26, 2011, 01:42:04 AM
Talked to BitcoinExchange through AIM today, while the MtGox prices spiked up to USD $8.9. I was able to sell 29.13 BTC. He agreed to sell it at the price when it transaction reached 5 confirmations, which was 8.74. However, he was kind enough to buy my BTC for 8.79.

PayPal'd me the money instantly, and there were no fees (besides the 7% exchange fee from BitcoinExchange)

However, I do have to note that during the sale, he was away for ~2 hours after I sent the BTC and I had to wait 2 hours before he came back and sent me USD through PayPal.

Second time using this service and I love it!
498  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Is it normal to be getting this many stale shares? on: May 24, 2011, 08:11:54 PM
I used to get 0.2% stale shares but it's been going up a lot recently. Right now it's a little bit higher than 1%.
