Hells ya...GUI wallet...can it have a button you can press to make a quack sound??

Ah ok. Glad I got all that mining in for June!

Quark is shit, but you can't blame the dev or even the coin for your own actions. I remember when this all began, and I could see through the BS. Why couldn't you? We all have our own biases, and you can't blame anyone else except yourself unfortunately.

So bytecoin devs and cn devs are the same people? You need to keep your story straight, it keeps changing.
Shame on you people who are stealing from people in the shallow end of the pool. Bytecoin bcn is a scam.
It sounds like you need to read up on the coin some more and do more research for yourself. The ByteCoin devs originally worked on Cryptonote but branched off and created their own coin, ByteCoin. Shame on you for calling ByteCoin a scam and its supporters thieves. The only reason people say "premined" or "scam" is because they dislike that the coin was technically released on July 4, 2012 to the deep web and then "publicly" released a few months ago. All of the relevant historical information is listed or linked in this thread and on the community website. There is no stealing or scamming going on...There have been emails from devs and emails from CryptoNote devs released, screenshots from websites showing use years ago, charts and other historical information that convey this to be the case.

I'm so confused...so what is going on with the block reward? All I know is that I am mining way less coins than usual since a few days ago and these charts https://minergate.com/charts show the block reward as being really low. ELI5?

This morning I had sent some BCN with the old wallet...after missing these I started looking around - updated the daemon and wallet resynced ok. Still nothing in blockchain about these transaction IDs. Anything else I can do? Cryptonight badly needs push notifications for wallet/daemon updates... at least add "ver" command to check if we are up-to-date Wallet synced - but no coins there, no coins in blockchain... where are these coins?! Just type "help" to see your version...

I'm surprised some are so quick to call a coin dead when it has hardly been around for a month. Not everybody is selling their coins and people aren't necessarily buying because they can mine fairly efficiently at this moment in difficulty. I've been mining for like a month straight, haven't sold anything and don't plan to for a long time. I also haven't bought any off exchanges because I don't feel I need to.
I haven't ever had problems with the wallet, the coin has less orphans than some other coins, and it is silly. Obviously if you want this coin to be worth a lot right off the bat, YOU are the pumper/dumper. I still like this coin and would be down to help with promotion.

Probably because he's an Anoncoin bagholder that bought when it was $2. Zerocoin was also abandoned last I heard....Useless crap anyway.
You're absolutely wrong on Zerocoin, but I'll let you look that up for yourself ya dumbass scammer. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=256238

Wow...stalkers everywhere on here. Nearly every post I create somebody looks through this account's history to see what I've posted. How is that post even relevant? Thanks for the duckNote advertisement , I'm not wasting any more of my time arguing over the internet...let's get back on topic, creep. IMO duckNote's aura is similar to DogeCoin's, but also very different. It is abstract and you probably wouldn't understand, because you don't feel the same sentiment, but yes if you simplify DogeCoin to being "silly" then I could see why you would see duckNote as being "based off Dogecoin". It's a different style of humor in my opinion though and obviously has much different tech. You Monero and DarkCoin fanboys can try to slander me as much as you want, but it's a boring discussion. I've owned and sold both XMR and DRK, and I even told others when the best point to sell would be and I still got all these trolls on my back. It's absolutely annoying to talk to you dumbasses. There is actually a lot to consider with ByteCoin's origin, but you obviously have no looked into it far enough yourself and I'm not doing that DD for an asshole like you. Enjoy arguing with yourselves and creepin' on others. Yea, because you can definitely feel a coin's "aurora" over the internet..Makes sense. I have one question for you and one question only, what drugs are you taking? How about you read a dictionary, ya dumbass.

I definitely prefer ByteCoin and duckNote over Monero. It has to do with the devs, community and the coins' branding for my choices. Noob geniuses love to yell "premined LOL!OL!!!!111" at ByteCoin, while the people who actually do their research sit quietly mining and buying with confidence. I'm not here to convince anyone because it's a lost cause--there are fanboys for every altcoin now, so half of the people "investing" in altcoins have no idea what they are investing in and just jump on the hype train. That's the case with DogeCoin, that's definitely the case with DarkCoin, and possibly Monero (although I just think their branding, logo, name, and devs are terrible). I see the Shibisms more and more every day in these coins' communities, and all I can do is laugh or pray for their naivety.
Is buying with confidence the 6000$ volume for an alleged 2 years coin that is supposed to be well known on darknet ? lold Oh, hi 12 year old. If that mindset works for you, that's great. You're not thinking very far though, and I'll leave it at that.

Half of the people here can't even get their numbers straight for how much ByteCoin was mined before the "public release" as they are too concerned with branding it "premined"--a cancerous word in cryptoland. Most fail to understand that bitcoin is 60% mined already and that most altcoins have a very high percentage of ownership by a very few addresses.
To each their own. IMO ByteCoin and duckNote are the real deal, in their own special ways.

I don't know if you guys are trolling or naturally stupid...
But, Bytecoin was premined 85% by a handful of people. And before you can argue, THE BLOCKCHAIN is proof. Bytecoin has a premine comparable to NXT's 100% premine. This coin is dead.
Your ignorance won't make you any richer or anybody else any poorer. We've all done our research and we are well aware of what this coin is and isn't. Ego check on isle 5! Grats to the devs' hard work.

Oh man, if anybody has a Fermi/Compute 2.0 build of tsiv's CryptoNight fork that would be amazing... (GTX 570)

So many genius noobs. That's when you know the Shibes have finally moved on from DRK to Monero. Hype machine part 3! ByteCoin + duckNote > Monero IMO (pussies) Thanks for informing us. You convinced me to switch from Monero to ByteCoin + duckNote! I feel already much better now. I'm not here to convince anyone. Don't be so serious!

Honestly I wouldn't sell at 10...that will be easy sauce IMO. The party's just getting started!

The withdraw function is sometimes buggy on Minergate, but I've never gone more than 2 days without my withdrawal and that only happened once awhile back while they were performing maintenance. Usually it ranges from instant to an hour at most for a withdrawal to go through, in my experience.
