41  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: February 18, 2018, 05:37:25 PM
If bitcoin to be international currency, what do you think?
You can use it every where and anywhere, without exchange it.
And how to use transaction with it, if bitcoin just crypto currency?
How many people like with this thread?

In my opinion, bitcoin has become an international currency because bitcoin exists in almost all countries and we can transaction to different countries using bitcoin.
As you said, Dollar also an international currency, but why do the world still say it is the currency of U.S? You can exchanges Bitcoin to other currencies doesn't mean it's an international currency. Unless the world used it as the primary currency someday, this concept will be true.
42  Economy / Economics / Re: Maybe governments can stop bitcoin after all on: February 18, 2018, 05:26:44 PM
Well, governments and bank start to realize the danger that bitcoin represents for their power, and you can bet they'll try everything to ban it.
But actually, they only can create some difficulties, because the only way to stop bitcoin is to shut down the internet!
Wrong! You're mistaken and don't understand the operational principle of Bitcoin network. You have to know Bitcoin can run because it has miners, has user. If Bitcoin doesn't have miner to confirm all transaction hash of the network. This network will be die without disappear. Grin It is still waiting until it has miner to confirm transaction hash. And the government can make the Bitcoin miner stop to mining anytime Roll Eyes.
43  Economy / Economics / Re: When will more retailers accept Bitcoin on: February 18, 2018, 05:14:24 PM
"Japan: No Bitcoin Tax, Thousands of Stores to Accept the Cryptocurrency"

article published July, 5, 2017
https://edgylabs.com/2017/07/05/japan-no-bitcoin-tax-stores-accept-cryptocurrency/

"AirRegi is a widely used, tablet-based point-of-sale app in Japan. Currently, around 260,000 establishments, stores, and commercial facilities use this proprietary app to accept payments from their clients."

It makes sense that a transition to accept bitcoin would be underway for more US-based stores.
Many develop countries used bitcoin facilities but other retailers used cash for their bussiness bitcoin is a long term. They are needed to convince more in order to accept bitcoin..Price is still volatile. But in time more retailers will accept to use as there transaction
The retailers need to calculate careful the value of Bitcoin when they accept Bitcoin for payment. Maybe, they can decreases the Bitcoin value ~ $100 (or more than that amount)/BTC/order for the realtime price. Because the  Bitcoin price is unstable, its value always ups and downs.
44  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Is Bitcoin's Value So Volatile? on: February 18, 2018, 05:01:50 PM
I think it is so volatile due to the huge influx of new people into the market, and then some dump their Bitcoin once gaining enough profit, driving the prices down. Anyway, it is still a new market and may stabilise in the future.
People new to the stock market, Bitcoin makes the price more stable. So, for example, when you look at sales and buy orders, the more orders you have, the more stable the price becomes.

Yes I agree. It is because of the demand itself. The law of demand and supply greatly influence the volatility of the price of any cryptocurrency. When there is high demand and there is no sufficient supply, eveb though mining is available, prices will really get higg. But when supply is quite high, and sometimes, investors are being influences in their decisiveness, then prices gets low.
According to my experience on the cryptocurrency market, you can't predict exact anything, because predict is just predict, it still depends on many factors to decide the value. Sometimes, Airdrop to increases the total supply still helps some crypto increases, but sometimes, that airdrop makes the value of crypto decreases a lot.

Example: Stellar Airdrop for Bitcoin holder -> The price of Stellar dumped -90%
NXT Airdrop IGNIS -> The price of NXT increases Tongue
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Dogecoin have a future? on: February 18, 2018, 11:53:58 AM
Dogecoin can not have any future. All its value and popularity is determined not by its technical capabilities or innovations, but only by its name
Dogecoin is only for gesture, i makes you feel that you are in crypto ecosystem, i dont know why one will ever accept Doge when we have ETH and other altcoins.
I think also coin with a muzzle of a dog and bitcoin are old and respectable coins, but they have obsolete technology and concept. There are many promising, fast-growing altcoins, like Monero, Ethereum, Cardano.I believe that the road for the young
Currently, a Dogecoin devs come back and he is wanting to make Dogecoin become the top coin again. He is trying to build Dogecoin through Ethereum platform instead of Bitcoin in the future. Although it is so hard and can creates a big hardfolk, but I'm still believing one day, Dogecoin will be back.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: February 18, 2018, 11:45:24 AM
Could be, why not if Vitalik is working hard in that project, and so many projects are running on Ethereum protocol. But it's hard to beat Bitcoin as it more popular and it's first on the blockchain.
Bitcoin is popular than Ethereum, released earlier than Ethereum - the first cryptocurrency successful project. But the fact, the Bitcoin technology isn't better than Ethereum, if Bitcoin can't update to Lightning Network, it will be the loser. Tether has used Ethereum (ERC token) to continue create more coins. Wink
47  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sell all to USDT when everything goes down ? on: February 11, 2018, 09:52:16 PM
Is exchanging all your assets to USDT when everything goes down a valid move ?

It is a good move of course, but how are you so sure that the price will go down after you sell it all? It is a risky move for me, i would never short bitcoin because you all know that maybe the price goes up and you lost some BTC.

You will know the signal of the market when you have enough experience to understand the moves of Bitcoin. On the cryptocurrency market, nothing is high forever, included Bitcoin. Just within 2 months, the price of Bitcoin comeback to old price in November. Roll Eyes
48  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Time management. on: February 11, 2018, 09:42:04 PM
I'm a student and i do trading too. So i have to travel for like 2 hours for reaching my college daily. So whenever I'm traveling i research about new projects and ico read the white papers during this time and so from this I'm able to give around 3 hours for the research work which for me i think is enough to get all the information required. And if i find a really promising ICO i just have a word with my other mates who are also in trading and then invest.
There are a lot of student here that I am reading and was inspired to keep moving and to work more, I am touched by the stories of working student so for me I don't have any reason to give up here in bitcoin for as long as I have the proper time management to do this then all is well, that is why it is important to have at least notes.
Most of the workers in bounties campaign or signature campaign are the students, I can be sure this. Because I have many "friends" are still the student but they can make more money than a person has much times to make money online like me.
49  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have a future? on: February 11, 2018, 09:24:10 PM
I just read on Btcjam blog that they are closing down: https://blog.btcjam.com/2017/05/25/btcjam-is-closing/, now I am just wondering if big players in thebitcoin industry are closing down, is there any future for bitcoin really.

I came to know about bitcoin through btcjam when i was introduced there to borrow. Eve in this forum, looks most signature campaigns might close down because of the ever rising price of bitcoin. Most of them have reduced their payout amounts for posting by more than 50%. Is this a good sign or a bad sign for the bitcoin development?
We can see with great application of bitocin has attracted the attention of many financial investors, in addition to bitcoin also many countries. That tells us that bitcoin is a gold of the future and will be the means of payment promised in the coming years. That will boost the BTC's price dramatically, I think the BTC price will hit $ 70000 this year.
I can be sure Bitcoin won't be the new currency in the future. Trust me! Bitcoin doesn't have enough power and total supply coin to provide a service for all people of the world. It just makes Bitcoin becomes rarely more and the government don't want that future happen.
50  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BUY high sell low ? on: February 11, 2018, 09:09:10 PM
Well, from my forex trading experience when you buy high and sell low it means you sold at lost. It is better to buy low and sell high to enable you make profit from your investment. Although people who buy high and sell low did that as a result of panic and lack of good knowledge of trading currency or crypto currency is all about.
This is the best method of losing money, why would we have to trade if we just want to lose our money.
Basic rule is always buy low and sell high, you will be able to sell low if you are not ready as you can easily panic that will cause you to take lose.
In addition, if you want to have profit in berish trend, you can sell your coin at high price as soon as you can before the bearish trend started. At begin of the bearish trend, you still can sell your coin. Then, you just need to buy enough total coin you sold in the past time. You will have an extra remaining amount of money as profit.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm very disappointed with myself. on: February 11, 2018, 08:35:25 PM
I'm extremely depressed about my impatience and persistence.
I'm a stupid man. Fuck myself.
I bought the ETC when its price was 15$, i kept it for three months, including when it down at 9$, I still don't sell, because i believe it. And when ETC rise to 15$. I sold everything and waited it down $ 13 to buy more. But, fuck myself, the next day it rise to fucking 30$, Are you kidding me?
I bought 5000 XRP from May, i still believe it, I bought more yesterday, I bought when its price was 0,00001610sts, and when it down 0,00001558, i afraid BTC up, XRP down. So i sold everything. And... This morning I woke up with a sense of chest not say words.

This is my mistake, definitely like that. I can't blame anyone.
I told myself, "The market is still there. Nothing to hurry"
I don't complain, i post here just relieve stress. I didn't  tell anyone about this, including my wife.
Thank for listening.
When I understand that I want to do some ill-considered action, I postpone all current affairs and go for a walk along the street. When I leisurely walk, I can calmly think things over and take a weighted and adequate decision.  Wink
Yep, don't chase waves and don't base your investment decisions on 30 second increments. If you purchase fundamentally sound cryptos that have actual expected utility, and if you hold them for at least a year (preferably 3 or more), then you will likely do well. Crypto isn't going anywhere, but hopefully the short term gambling that now dominates the market for them will get shaken out.
Generally speaking, long term investment will give you higher rewards.
The point is we should do thorough research before deciding to hold some specific coins.

Long term investment is necessary for business, because we don't have much times to track and follow the value of which thing we're investing. We have many other things need to do as soon as we can, therefore, long term investment is very important to get success and save our time. But, choose asset for holding long term is very difficult!
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost 80% of my bitcoins in alts, What can I do now?! on: February 11, 2018, 11:50:01 AM
Since june corrections I've lost really a lot. So... I just hold for long term cause crypto market is too young and there is a lot of space to grow.
You have to understand why you lost a lot of money in a bloodbath in June 2017. Why do you still hope that HODL can help you become rich one day? HODL is an art, it depends on the starting point for you to HODL. It's the most important factor for success of holder.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Dogecoin have a future? on: February 11, 2018, 11:18:07 AM
Of course in the future Dogecoin will continue to rise following the rising price of Bitcoin. I personally am very sure Doge coins have a very good future. Look at it day by day Doge Coins go up.
Yes indeed the price of the coin is gradually growing, which indicates the growth of demand for this coin. A large number of people continue to use this coin, so the coin has a future.  Smiley
McAfee made dogecoin became the cryptocurrency for speculation, I hate him kill the bullish trend of Dogecoin when the price of dogecoin higher than 110 satoshi. Just by speculator made the whale change the time to pump this coin instead of the Lunar New Year will happen in next few days.
54  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if we use a one currency only? on: February 11, 2018, 11:05:38 AM
What do think if all nation use only a one currency?, What happen to our world?, What the effect of the nation's economy?, It can make people's start to work each other without competing others?Any opinion. Cheesy

I think if there would be only one currency being used by all nations, the world would be borderless. In the sense that there would be no limitation from one country to another. Goods and services can be bought without any conversion of money. Imagine that? We could pay imported goods without wondering what could be it's equivalent amount in our country if sold. And if ever this thing is possible, i think the value of imported goods doesn't matter anymore.
I think this is not possible to happen because every cointry has its own currency and it is really sailed by thier own  government if the world use 1 currency it is not possible that only one government would lead all country's i dont really agree on it because this is not really possible.
Yes i agree on that itvis really hard to create one currency for the whole world maybe bitcoin can be use as an profiting asset i  the whole world but if we speak about bitcoin as a currency in the world for me it is really impossible and i believe that this will not going no happen.
You're right, but you must to prove your idea is right too. Because cryptocurrency is the decentralized network. The government can't accept this technology for the monetary system. However, they can use blockchain and decentralized system to build strong system enough to security everything, included global secrets. Decentralized is a great concept, but the government won't use it to make them have loss.
55  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the economy situation in your country that bad? on: February 10, 2018, 06:25:08 PM
It seems there are bad news all around with doom and gloom. Trade figures going down, jobs cuts, security situation not going well, and bad loans.

Is the economy situation in your country that dismal? Or this is just some fear mongering?

The economic situation is really bad in my country as at today! Even the vice president had to make an open confession that they know not enough money is being properly/adequately circulated. The most annoying thing is that fuel pump price is about being increased and the masses are expected to still cough out the money to pay for this! The government is failing the youths of the country with little or no environment to explore one's innate abilities.
I hope you can pass this time soon. My country also had same economy status in the past. But luckily, the people in my country all want to improve our economy. It created a big move for the growth of the national economic. Of course, my country has got many money from other countries support, invest to create more the infrastructure.
56  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: February 10, 2018, 06:05:35 PM
You can travel from country to country carrying a lot of cash in your smart phones without anyone to notice it. The burden of carrying a lot of money is avoided but the thing is, not all countries or institutions accept bitcoin as a means of payment.

That is best thing if bitcoin will be accepted world wide. No need to bring a lot of cash or even your credit card, all you need to do is to have your bitcoin wallet in your phones and you are ready to go. Now your android phone is not only for taking pictures and tweeting out your every move but also it is also your travel buddy in terms of your money.
Smartphone isn't a good hardware to store your cryptocurrency. You need to have a hardware wallet like Ledger Nano S or TRAZOR or a laptop to bring it anywhere and this laptop has wallet store cryptocurrency. The benefit of cryptocurrency is helps you skip many times for verifying from the government and global transfer money with cheapest fees, these things are the best benenfit for the moment if compare to cash, IMO
57  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: February 10, 2018, 05:50:57 PM
The basics to fight agains poverty must be established by the local government. People need to have certain skills like reading, writing and mathematics. Unfortunatelly many people can't do that, and those are the realy poor people in this world. Without those skills there is no way how anybody can participate in the world of cryptocurrencies. The local governments need to create schools and teach the people as a first step, cryptocurrencies can be a second step.
That's not necessary, you have to remember the government don't need to make all people know cryptocurrency, how to use cryptocurrency ... Currently, for the world, cryptocurrency is only an asset for speculation or better than is investment. The government don't have much times to guide the people know cryptocurrency knowledge, it's useless at the moment.
58  Economy / Economics / Re: The $1 Million Dollar Bitcoin on: February 10, 2018, 05:37:37 PM
For 1 Bitcoin to be worth $1,000,000, the total market cap of Bitcoin would have to be $21 trillion dollars. What are the odds of this happening?

For reference, the amount of physical $dollars and coins in circulation are around $1.2 trillion. The global M2 money supply of all currencies are around $45 trillion. The market cap of all mined gold is around $7 trillion.

Will 1 Bitcoin be worth a million dollars? Half a million? Thoughts?

This post or this thread is from 2015 , three years I'm quite shock though , they said that 1 bitcoin value cannot be 1million dollar so quess what though the bitcoin price is almost 1million , the price of bitcoin is 616,000 dollars. Half of a million.
Everyone thrives on hopium. This joint would be awfully quiet if it was commonly acknowledged that BTC was a weed and crybaby who couldn't budge a piddling amount upwards without collapsing again.
And it's not going anywhere without some long term faith.

For an asset like Bitcoin set value by its community user, you're right. The value of Bitcoin is unknown and it won't be worthless if the world still like to using it, investing in this currency. Bitcoin really made the world changed opinion about finanicial, stock, forex market, ... This place isn't a gambling type, it's investment.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Is Really A Good Investment or Not? on: January 21, 2018, 06:13:54 AM
I like ICO even more during this down market.  Your funds is locked in the ICO while the market crashes so theres nothing to worry about cause you can't really do anything.  This gives time for market to rebound.
This you called the plus ICO), but there are drawbacks.
For example, an ICO may be a scam, and you will lose all your invested money, you have to be very careful when choosing an ICO
You won't know any project is scam unless bad project, didn't spend much time to develop and promote. But for some hype projects, you never know it's good or bad until listed on exchange and dumped in the value. This is the reason find a good ICO is very difficult.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 seems like a good year for ALTCOIN on: January 21, 2018, 06:01:48 AM
The steam for altcoin will still continue in 2018. One or two years more I think. Based on the line-up of upcoming ICO's, It would be still a good year for Altcoins.
1 or 2 years?  I think that cool project will serve us more...  How old is btc? Now just imagine that new services are coming. Each service becomes separate ecosystem.
No no no, all cryptocurrencies are using the technology from Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the first coin used blockchain technology. In the past, we called blockchain is the Bitcoin technology, but in order to fit the time and apply to other fields, people have called it with the new name is "blockchain".
