I assume that we can call Sporting as the champions what would you say for that? 

They got a really important victory against Benfica by 2-1 last night. This was one of the most critical matches for the championship. Benfica were really unlucky during the match by the way. While the score was 1-1 they wasted 2 absolute goal chances. Later on they wasted another chance unbelievably in the last moments of the match. They could have left with at least one point.

I think Sporting will win their missing match vs Famalicao too and make the gap 7 points. This would be a huge advantage before the Porto away match. 

Don't mention it mate.    The qualifying time was so early for me as well so it wasn't easy for me to get up and watch it from the start to the end.

Aaand the race is also over!    The podium didn't surprise me much to tell the truth.



Leclerc tried to do his best really. Despite being able to take only 8th place in qualifying he had a great race and reached right behind Sainz by climbing 4 places. This resulted in his being the driver of the day too. If he had a better qualifying I'm pretty confident that he would be on podium instead of Sainz.

Red Bull drivers had a really comfortable race as the expectations. Verstappen is back at top again after the terrible Australia GP weekend.

This is really a win that can be achieved by Liverpool normally. I hope Klopp watched the replay of Manchester United's game against Chelsea. This would help him see from what they can benefit from more.

It shouldn't be too difficult to beat Manchester United for them in normal conditions. Because Manchester United are struggling in not only defense but only offense. But somehow they manage to not lose against Liverpool.    Liverpool should just find their rhythm here. Salah is the maestro of this team. His performance will have a significant role in achieving a win here.

Nunez is also scoring well recently so I hope he can also be helpful. 

I have heard that Fenerbahçe chairman Ali Koç called their supporters not to buy tickets for the Super Cup match as well. Do you think Fenerbahçe would play this match full time?    I assume there wouldn't be such thing after deciding to play it anyway with their young team. If they do such thing it would probably end up with a penalty for Fenerbahçe too.

All markets are closed for the Super Cup match by the way. Is there anyone who was able to bet on this match? If there was such chance then I assume those bets would be cancelled right away. It isn't allowed to bet on the match either in Turkey or on foreign gambling websites.

Personally I believe it won't be easy for any side here. I would like to add an important detail about this one too. We watched these 2 teams face each other in the FA Cup and Premier League both and Liverpool didn't leave any of them happily. Manchester United lost only to Manchester City in big home matches too. I wouldn't bet on Liverpool and my first option would be BTTS here @1.40.

I hope we watch a similar match to the FA Cup one otherwise I'm in trouble. 

Eternal Fire have gained 4 places at one time thanks to their successful run in PGL Major. We could have done more if we didn't lose our concentration against NaVi on Inferno but it was a nice try. 

I don't know the classification for calling a team tier 1 but I think teams reaching top 10 should be called like that as long as they spend their time there. Eternal Fire also deserve this title after this hard work until this moment. But we still have a lot of work to do. We can still be fragile in an unexpected moment. We need to work on our mental strength more to stay stronger in big tournaments. This is also the key to success you know. 

Qualifying was this morning and Verstappen captured pole position as expected.    Perez really deserves to be appreciated this season to tell the truth. Because it looks like he has cleared his mind finally.

The only doubt I have about Perez is his performance in the second half of the season. He started great in 2023 too but started to get stuck below the expectations after a while. I hope we don't see the same scenario again. Leclerc is still having problems in his car. He is still not able to show his full potential while Sainz is doing much better. It looks like Sainz will make the rivalry with him 3-0 in the races so far.

Nice work by Norris as he took 3rd place, maybe a podium might be seen who knows.

England are favoured the most considering the current odds given for the champion. But the odd gap is very small with France.

What are your thoughts on this? Do you expect England to finish their incomplete job from Euro 2020 finale? Or would we even see a different champion than England and France?

It would be a big relief for Southgate if he finally achieves a championship with England though. 


I talked about Turkey and Czechia like that not only by depending on Turkey's latest performances in the qualifiers. But also considering the history between these 2 countries in football as well. Turkey have a really good history against them especially in Euro tournaments. Maybe psychological advantage might also have some role. 

However we will see maybe I will be wrong and your prediction will come true.

What an unbelievable match it was!    I'm so glad to watch it from the start to the end. I was waiting rather a boring match between these two aimless teams to tell the truth. Instead both teams played freely because of not being under high pressure I guess. It was so difficult to predict the outcome you know. We watched 2 incredible comebacks.

Cole Palmer was undisputedly the man of the match with a great hat-trick.    This kid is a penalty master. It looks like Onana didn't study his lesson well. Palmer was using penalties to the right corner mostly but Onana didn't prefer that corner on both penalties.

100 bin lira şu an 3 bin dolar falan ediyor. Bu limit bile hızlı transfer için bana göre çok yetersiz kalıyor. Fakat bu aralar daha sık bu limit artırılmaya başlandı. Belki yakın gelecekte bunun en az birkaç katına ulaştığını da görürüz. Paramız günden güne değer kaybederken daha çok miktarda para ile büyük işlemler yapmaya başlıyoruz ve FAST olmadan da çok yavaş işliyor. Parça parça da FAST ile daha fazlası transfer edilir tabi ama çok büyük bir meblağ ise çok uğraştırıcı olur.

I really didn't like this final series to tell the truth. The last 2 map results were really poor, there wasn't any proper competition.  



But I must admit one thing here that NaVi's answer to FaZe was just incredible!    NaVi's last performances on Inferno were really impressive. It looks like they practiced on this map really hard after not playing there for like 2 months. Our predictions on NaVi to win came true but I wish I bet on it. As they were the underdog the odds were really attracting actually.

jL was awarded the MVP prize by the way. I think he deserved it after this hard work especially during the playoffs.

This is an easy work to be done by Liverpool absolutely!    Their real challenge will be a week later which is against Manchester United at Old Trafford only 3 days later.

The schedule is very busy for Liverpool so Klopp might want to make some changes in the starting eleven against Sheffield Utd today. Resting some crucial players or giving them a shorter playing time than the usual would be a big help for Liverpool to get ready against Manchester United. The previous match between ended 0-0 so I really wonder what's going to happen this time. 

Imho, Liverpool won't lose points this time. They are in a really heated title race and Manchester United are having really difficult days - especially in the defense line.

Congrats to Kaiserslautern on reaching the final phase! However I'm afraid this is most probably the end of the road for them.    It is still a great achievement to reach this phase though.

Today Leverkusen will finish off Dusseldorf as long as we don't come across a huge surprise. Xabi Alonso is hungry for titles this season which is obvious. I don't expect a big rotation here even though they have a Bundesliga match in a couple of days. They are already comfortable there. I'm just expecting Leverkusen to reach final and win the DFB Pokal trophy after that. I already see 2 trophies in hand for Xabi Alonso together with the Bundesliga one. 

I would say don't underestimate Turkey.    Turkey are already favoured more than Czechia to qualify from Group F according to the odds. Turkey had a better qualification phase than them as well. We finished our group as the leader and ahead of a team like Croatia at the same time. This is a really good success.

This happened thanks to the new manager Vincenzo Montella's strategies. Friendly performances can be very misleading so I'm not taking them into account. Besides we didn't even have our main squad in that match against Austria. I think we are strong enough to beat Czechia and Georgia both to finish in 2nd place at worst.
