It is functional, it is pretty slick and barring the blockchain completely syncing (it is taking some time) it looks quite nice. There is a BitTorrent section, but it has been deactivated on this particular copy of the program (vtorrent stated that it would be without torrent functionality as this is still in private testing) New features: -multiple windows for trading on bittrex -2FA via Google Authenticator -Key management -HD addresses -Block explorer Regarding the lack of any update on torrent functionality this is what vtorrent said on December 31st, 2014: Since Magnetz scam, I prefer to keep all the details about torrent implement from public until we release our first beta client with torrent implemented. As to when to expect torrent release, I have no information. hmmm... ?!  Everything about this mess screams scam. And most of the coins are held by a few. oh well.. |

Personally, I would never save on SIA network nothing more than a THIRD copy of my files until I see thousands of hosts running.
Why? There is absolutely no need for that. I think you have a mis-perception about what is required to keep data secure. Amazon doesn't have thousands of hosts, they put your data in single datacenter. The next version will have better redundancy information so you can see how your files are doing, but to the best of my knowledge no file has ever been lost on the Sia network. Our algorithms have improved significantly since the last release, file will be even more secure on v0.5.0. One can't compete Amazon, Google or Microsoft using the same technology they are using. Just because of X-redundancy, storage price will be X-times higher. Unless army of unused HDD parts jumps into equation with Y-times lower price. Competitive condition is Y to be significantly higher than X. My imagination of future SIA network was massive number of small hosts. Lets not forget that they all use X-redundancy, huge storage facilities, cooling systems, tech engineers to maintain it all, managers to take big salaries.. |

What is this thing called MPAA? HAHAHAHA billion dollar idea??? Piracy ? Paying for piracy of shit i can get free? You really haven't researched file sharing. Go take a closer look at what file sharing is really like beyond the pages of TPB. There already exist paid torrent services, featuring blistering speeds and blinding methods that make it impossible to tell who downloaded what. What part of this exactly is a billion dollar idea, in fact, convince me this is a million dollar idea. The more pay-torrents exist, the more easier it gets to get them for free..  Personally, I would be happy to pay a few bits for each torrent to support the system. |

Well we are still here and coin is alive  Now Expanse has gone way lot cheaper than before. Time to dig in and grab some more EXP as I have the feeling that the price would explode someday into the future...  You can't go wrong with a 15btc marketcap.. 2btc buy would bring the price x10 time higher.. |

Hi I haven't checked in on the project in a bit and was wondering how I get my coins off Koinify? Also, the mac wallet doesn't work for me there's no GUI just a FactomApps folder with a lot of exec files (walletapp, factom-cli, factomd, fctwallet). There is also a StaticFiles folder with a lot of files in it. Does mac only have the command line wallet for now?
