It is interesting that so many opinions about mistakes in gambling can also apply to other areas, such as investment or trading. Choosing the wrong exchange is equivalent to choosing the wrong casino, gambling with money they can't afford to lose is the same as opening a position with money they can't afford to lose, and so on. If this assumption is correct, maybe anyone with some degree of experience in trading/investment will quickly realize what they should avoid if they don't want to lose too much money.
I guess you can say that greed is the root of all of this, as mentioned above. Sadly controlling greed is not as easy as copy-pasting articles on the internet. Even I fall for rationalization more often than not, even though I realize that doing so is risky.

This is great insight. I think that's where true value of bitcoin lies with.
Just use LN if you don't want to convert to other alts. Spend some sats to open a channel and use that whenever the network is congested. Using wrapped Bitcoin is basically the same thing as using TRX to withdraw or send your money to the casino. Not to mention there's no guarantee you can recover your Bitcoin easily. It is not the true value of Bitcoin IMO, that's just how people try to earn as much money as possible by tricking users that their alts are the same as Bitcoin. |

they realize that there is no market for price prediction even in cryptomarket and maybe that’s why we haven’t see any site to offer the same thing as many believe that if its gambling it should be game related or a sports related option because the purpose of gambling is to entertain as well.
This just made me realize that there are tons of contests on this forum that use Bitcoin price prediction as their main game. It seems quite popular, so there is definitely some market if anyone is interested in that. If anything, I believe the profit provided by other games is probably better for the house, so there's no need for them to create a dedicated prediction game for that. This was 100% Strolls fault, Stroll should have looked at what's going on, it wasn't a break test like Stroll said, it was literally no room for Daniel to go further, he had to break, every had to, and Stroll didn't see that and crashed into Daniel. Even worse situation is that Stroll, someone who we all know doesn't deserve a seat, has the most guaranteed seat of all time, even though he sucks.
The memes coming from this incident are very funny though. My favorite is probably Piastri's comment that basically said Stroll is the only driver who crashes when an emergency brake is unavoidable. Other than that, meme edits of Stroll crashing on a pit stop are also quite funny. I dunno how his relationship with other drivers is, but Stroll definitely needs to get better unless he wants to get bullied each week due to his mistake. |

For VPN purposes then i would definitely be making use first of those in built VPN with some browsers like OPERA. It does work on just like with those known VPN.
Im much aware about NordVPN too but of course i wont really be that willing on spending up on something just because im interested to play into their platform.
If you care about your privacy, I'd suggest you avoid them. Most of the time they collect your data and the speed is just as horrible as other 'free' VPNs on the internet. Not to mention they can inject or suggest some ads even if you don't want to see any. My experience with those VPNs is terrible. perhaps the IP must have been known for so many bad activities or what? -ip-
But there are some that are military grade or more, I do not believe that it can be decrypted easily that it is a VPN unless the IP is generally from unaccepted regions.
Not necessarily bad activities afaik, especially if you use shared IP. Other users probably use the same IP to access the website from different locations, or they accessed the website at the same time. That being said, one of my VPN servers does get blocked by overseas gaming platforms, probably because too many users tried to register from the same IP address. Btw, military-grade† is just a marketing gimmick. Most of the time it means the cheapest and decent option on the market, or AES-256. If they use that term as their main marketing material, I'd suggest you look for other services instead. CMIIW. |

Most people don't want to pay $10 for a single transaction. Even for regular transactions 120 sats/vb is quite high. Maybe you can try using the lightning network, but you still need to deposit, make channels, etc. It's probably not the best time to try LN if you don't want to spend $10 for a deposit though. |

Betul om, kayaknya emang penyakit lama di Windows. Ane juga udah search ke berbagai situs termasuk yang om kasih di atas, dan sejauh ini masih kadang kejadian karena sebab utamanya sepertinya emang LAN ane yang kadang ngirim magic packet secara berkala. Untuk sementara ane akalin dengan cara set sleep secepat mungkin di semua power plan, dan sepertinya bekerja dengan cukup ok. Selama ga nyala 12 jam setelah ane matiin di tengah malam gamasalah sih, cuma emang lebih enak kalau ga bangun" sendiri.

I'm thinking that maybe he still can return it? And get a refund for the money that he pay for it. He still ends up as a winner there (not a loser), so he should not despair too much. He only want to ensure that he should not play gambling again because he has a hard time controlling himself.
If he bought it from an online shop, there should be a window where he can return the products regardless of what happened with the package. At least that's how my experience goes with online shop in my country. He can also resell those stuff if the seller doesn't accept his returns as mentioned above, not necessarily at a loss if he can be smart about it. Not sure which choice is better if his mental health doesn't improve first. I think it is quite difficult for a problem gambler to get better on their own, so even if he made a decent amount of money before, the loss will still haunt him. I don't think it is easy to just "not feel despair", especially after you lost thousands of dollars within a minute or so. I think he needs some outside help, considering the signs of addiction are already there. Even if he got lucky in the future his mind will likely rationalize anything to make him gamble again. |

One question I have for you is, many people still choose to transact with centralize exchanges that are not regulated because its cheaper forgoing security and trust/regulations in favor of anonymity/convienence etc. Do you personally believe that deposit insurance is important to you?
Convenience plays an important part for me. That being said, I no longer use centralized exchanges not registered in my government's list, simply because if the accident happened I don't want to spend time arguing with a business with a different regulation umbrella since they don't have an office here. That being said, no amount of insurance will make me trust any centralized party. I always assume that every time I deposit my money or do a trade something can always go wrong, hence why I'd withdraw as quickly as possible. Fortunately, a decentralized solution to liquidate crypto into fiat is becoming common, so I'd ditch exchanges asap even if they managed to secure insurance from the government or something similar. |

Ane nyoba ngatasi PC yang tiba-tiba nyala sendiri dan kemungkinan besar pelakunya adalah WoL. Dimatiin bisa sih cuma jadinya ga bisa ane nyalain secara remote nantinya. Ada yang bilang bisa naruh PC di hibernate tapi tetap masih kadang ke wake-up sendiri. Anehnya setiap wake-up selalu ga mau sleep, padahal udah ane atur sleepnya aktif. Atau ini emang penyakit di Windows 11 ya?

Memangnya desentralisasi di Solana kaya gimana gan? Udah sekuat di jaringan lain? Transaksi tinggi tapi kalau keamanannya lebih agak percuma sih menurut ane. 1 Kartu Merah yang membuat permainan berubah total tentunya, dari Barcelona yang unggul terlebih dulu tapi stelah kartu merah tentunya PSG lebih dominan dan akhirnya berhasil mencetak 4 goal. Mungkin akan beda ceritanya kalau tidak ada kartu merah karena saya sendiri memprediksi hasilnya imbang.
Menurut agan-agan semua apakah kartu merah itu layak diberikan ke Araujo? Ane cuma lihat sekilas di highlight dan emang cukup keras sih, cuma kemaren sempat ribut ada yang bilang itu kartu merah kontroversi (apalagi fans Barca, wajar sih kalau POVnya ini). Cuma Gundogan sendiri mengkritik Araujo kalau dari berita yang ane baca, tapi dia juga bilang harusnya Barca bisa dapet pinalti. Jadi kayaknya dari Gundogan sendiri menilai kartu merah itu layak, cuma performa wasit masih ga memuaskan buat mereka. Sempat baca wasit terlalu sering ngasih kartu yang ga penting juga, apalagi kalau ada pemain yang protes. |

Mungkin sama kaya om rico dimana ane merasa itu cuma bumbu, asal ga terlalu memperkeruh storyline sih ane ga bakal mempermasalahkannya. Tapi kalau clichenya terlalu sering ditemui ya bakal bosen juga. Misal masalah loli itu, ane merasa ada di kelompok yang sama dengan cliche MC punya hewan peliharaan, atau MC punya tunangan sebelum isekai terus nanti dibatalin, dst. Cuma kalau loli atau cliche lainnya mengganggu banget (karakternya sangat mengganggu) pasti ane drop. Setelah dipikir-pikir, ane susah melanjutkan konsumsi manhwa/manga kalau terlalu banyak info dump. Jadi mungkin storytelling yang paling berpengaruh buat ane. Manhwa yang terlalu banyak monolog MC menjelaskan plannya terus menjelaskan world building biasanya lebih sering bikin ane males buat baca. Makanya ane suka dengan gaya ceritanya Wild West Murim atau Dandadan yang lebih sering "show don't tell". Jadi kalaupun perlu ada penjelasan cukup panjang, biasanya terjadi lewat dialog antara karakter, bukan sekedar monolog atau narasi author aja. Entah kenapa terlalu banyak info dump bikin ane merasa baca Wiki daripada baca cerita. |

Baru kali ini ane dengar ada yang merasa Telkomsel lebih murah dibanding provider yang lain. Kalau masalah jangkauan koneksi mungkin benar, tapi semakin hari kayaknya jangkauan provider lain juga meluas gan. Agan memangnya ada di daerah pelosok banget atau punya kebutuhan mobile yang tinggi? Kartu seluler pribadi pun suka error tiba-tiba jika sedang ada gangguan teknis.Apa lagi ditempat yang masih susah sinyal dan jauh dari jangkauan tiang sinyal.
Agan sering mengalami begitu kah? Di tahun in ane rasa hanya satu kali sinyal mobile ane hilang, itu pun langsung balik lagi pasca HP ane restart. Jadi ada kemungkinan error device juga sih selain masalah jaringan. Kalau lokasi jauh dari BTS sih ane rasa emang udah nasib kalau jaringannya susah konek gan, semoga aja makin banyak BTS di daerah" jadi internet juga bisa makin murah. |

Depends on who you ask I guess. As a neutral, I think you can say it is a red card since Araujo went for the man and it was in a 1v1/last man position IIRC, Gundogan seems to think so if this report is correct[1]. Whether it should be a red or not, it is clear that Araujo makes a terrible decision, and probably should've let the man run if he failed to defend him. Some Barca fans seem to think the red card is controversial though, and they feel like they deserve a penalty when Gundogan was down inside PSG's box. CMIIW.
