One Solaris masternode is worth about $20k, that is not cheap so that it is truly hard to own Solaris masternode. Additionally, the current percent of Solaris locked in masternodes is above 50%. That's good.  I think that the percent will increase very slowly, which in turn secure the current ROI for masternodes' owners for a long period of time. Meriting me if possible.

If I send merit points to someone I will loose mine ? Or it's just a like in social networks ?
No, you never lose your merit points, it is yours, and it wont change when you send sMerits to someone in the forum. Please remember that what you send is sendable Merits (sMerits), not Merits. Instead, when you receive some Merits from others, your sMerits also increase. That's the way merit system work.

However, personally the current approach of merit system has several setbacks and it really need to be adjusted a little bit in order to both keep the forum clean and as fair as possible for all ranks of members in the forum. If it helps and useful, please consider give me merits if you want ^^

I like this new ranking requirement.  It helps cleans up the forum.  I think many people will be stuck at Full Member rank permanently due to this change.
You like it, partially because you have already been a legendary member. I agree that the forum should be cleaned up, but by using the merit system it is not a good option. There are lots of setbacks inside the current merit system.

Good posts might not be given a merit, instead average- or low-qualitied posts might receive merits. It is because that one is game of chance, game of luck, game of randomness. Your efforts need to have luckiness, chances, randomness from others to get merits. That's sound a little bit crazy.

Without reading through literally everything, will our merit points be replenished at any point after we send them or can you only gain them from others for useful posts?
In fact, as mentioned several times in previous threads. By sending sendable merits (sMerits) to others, you will lose only sMerits, which non-sense for yourself. It has no meaning in ranking your level up. Only Merits will help you to be upgraded to higher level. So feel free to send your sMerits to others for good posts. Additionally, when others send you Merits, your sMerits will increase too. Please give me merits if you think that my post is helpful. I almost upgraded to Member in the next few days, but now I have to collect 10 merits to reach the target. So sad. Thanks ^^

I like the idea of merit. As I said in the main post I think it will help cut down useless posts and spam. It will also help fight against signature campaign fraud and account farming.

My only issue with the system is that I was 30 points away from becoming a hero member, but now, I will also have to wait for another 250 merit points. I think that they should have made the merit equal to activity for its introduction.
The matter is with merits, you have to totally depends upon others, on their generosity, their free time. That also requires lots of luck. I don't really think that the merit system, by which I mean the current one, will actually solve the problem in fairly way. hence, the merit system should be ajusted in some more appropriate approach.
