The spamming of other new members to hit ranks was a major issue when cryptocurrency hit its peak and that is why the merit system was introduced, but still there are few members who abuse the merit system and they are the only ones that give merit to them selves. If your only reason for leaving the crypto industry is based one small capped altcoins and you are getting discouraged then I feel sorry for you and it seems that cryptocurrency is not for you. My suggestion is that if you want to earn and make a living in this market then you should have plenty of patience and enough knowledge in what you are getting into as people who do not continuously learn and easily gets discourage will be eaten by the volatility of the market.

Yes the price is very cheap now due to continous dropping of price although it's benefecial to many people who wants to invest in ethereum but it also creates panic to many people who owns ethereum in their wallet.
It only create panic to people who do not have any strategies in HODL or trading. Also the current state of the market where almost all crypto are in a great dip only the new investors that bought BTC and altcoins at a higher price are panicking.
