241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is a million dollars possible? on: April 26, 2018, 07:39:58 AM
The answer to your question lies in your patience on how long it will take for you to gain 1 million USD. How caln are you in whatever the statu the market currently has. And how disciplined are you to HODL your investments in time of need. These is the factors that would determine if you could get your 1 million USD it might take you a decade or two to get this.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is hodling alts dangerous? on: April 25, 2018, 05:59:52 PM
I believe that it will depend in the altcoins that you will invest  to, specially with new altcoins that have finished their ICOs. Because some of the ICOs structure or road map is not unreal or not good or the ICO is just plain scam to get money from others. But if you study the alcoins carefully and read to their goals then you will see that some for the altcoins out there has very good future.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: facebook and twitter pools allocation are too low on: April 24, 2018, 06:02:14 PM
The reason why most bounties provide low allocations in  social media bounties like facebook and twitter is because you are making cold lead advertisements or advertisements to people who has less or no interest to cryptocurrency. Unlike signature campaigns where they target people who already know it and are willing to invest.
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AMD Ryzen hashrate? on: April 22, 2018, 01:14:22 PM
Just a question do overclocking the CPU provides any boost in hash rates? Also is the new AMD Ryzen 2700x be a good CPU to buy to CPU mineable altcoins because of the performance boost? As I have seen in some reviews it has around 10-15% boost in synthetic benchmark and IPC with better overclocking head room and better powerdraw? What do you guys think about it?
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is bitcoin legal??? on: April 22, 2018, 05:28:05 AM
The reason that some countries ban cryptocurrencies is because they cannot regulate it and put a tax to the people that uses it. Specially with thousands of transactions that is made everyday that is why this some gvernment wants to control it to get a share of the profits, since it is hard to do with the decentralized nature of the crypto they are marking it as illegal.
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: give your best advice on: April 21, 2018, 06:56:58 AM
I would highly recommend that you separate youe investments with your money, HODLing  in on some crypto with good potential  is good specially if you do not panic sell. You can also invest in ICOs but be wary since most ICOs is either a scam or the price market of the altcoin is not good that is why you shoulddo a brief research in an ICO before you invest.
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: future?? on: April 21, 2018, 05:52:05 AM
In my oppinion the volatility of cryptocurrency has ita advantages, specially for day traders where every dip and raise of prices is the name of their game. It also is the same for long term HODLers because they can buy the altcoins that they want and just wait for the prices to sky rocket like what it did last year though it may take some time for it . That is why proper knowledge and strategy along with good patience to not panic is required  if you want to thrive in this industry.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can blockchain change financial industry? on: April 20, 2018, 11:30:52 AM
It will and it should be that is the main aim of the blockchain technology to promote secure and transparent technology. But we should also we aware that this technology is still new and still needs alot of improvements and innovations. But we can expect that in the near future we will have a new way or option that we can rely on with our financial needs.
249  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What do you mean by HODL? on: April 19, 2018, 11:19:22 AM
HODLING originated way back 2013 as a meme in one bitcoin forum messages. It is also a backronym for "hold on for dear life" which means even if tge prices are plunging hold on to you investments since there will be a time where the market will come back again. This is true most of the time you will lose everything once you sell your coin or tokens.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not every blockchain project has a good future on: April 19, 2018, 01:17:13 AM
Many of the blockchain projects will fail because of this factors:

1. Project is just made to collect funds to scam investors.
2. Even if the project is good it did not collect enough funds to start the project.
3. Project does not provide and innovation to the target market or it just have many competition.
4. Project is not well thought.

That is why we shoud do a research first on what blockchain project we would want to invest our money and/or time.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you truly believe in cryptocurrency on: April 19, 2018, 12:35:20 AM
Seems like most people just want to become super rich in a short period of time.
If you don't believe in this new technology, and just want to earn quick money, I think you will probably not achieve what you want.
All I want to say is be patient, live your life, and don't get too emotional by all the negative news/FUD. Yes, crypto might be ended in a really bad way and you lose most/all your money. But if you truly believe in the new technology, just invest the projects you like the most and hold until it gets mature and returns.

I really really do believe in cryptocurrency and the system in which it functions. It is just so sad and frustrating that some people would use this system in corrupted activities and giving it a negative impact! Which is why governments around the world are looking for ways to stop or regulate this system because of these thieves! Shame on you!!!

In every market there will be people whom will be corrupt and scam others and we have just to accept that fact and be aware of them so that we can prevent ourselves to be another victim  of such wrong doings. Cryptocurrency is just having a big backlash because of multiple controversies that happened like the hacking of multiple trading platforms, big dip of prices and multiple scandals that involves crypto in multiple countries. However the blockchain technology is truly innovative and if we just let developers complete theirprojects and we all support them by either holding or using their altcoins then I would say that the crypto will surely boom.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in the bright future of Crypto? on: April 15, 2018, 03:01:11 PM
I think most people are just into the price value of most of the cryptocurrency that is why they are panicking with the sudden dip of the prices last months, also because of this it makes a chain of negativity into this market so the prices did go lower as we have seen last week.
For me I am more interested on what the blockchian could offer into the real market for instance a blockchain for package delivery that gives a quick transaction without going to a branch of the carrier to send the package and uses their internal token akong with other cryptocurrencies in the market.  The potential of such project to grow is quite great and if more people would  use their product the higher price of the internal tojen would be. And if more people would support such project the negativity around crypto would cease.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes a altcoin valuable on: April 15, 2018, 12:11:30 PM
The value of altcoins depends on the whales and the community that trades the coin. Right now the actual use of most of them are for trading. If in the future people will use them for the intended use of the developers (e.g for payment for the game developers that uses a blockchain) then its value would potentialy increase as tthe tokens would be distributed to many people who would then trade it.
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don’t panic! on: April 15, 2018, 09:00:01 AM
I think that most of the people in the crypto industry are just newbies in trading and that is the reason they are overwhelmed by the sudden changes that happens almost every day. That is why if they would wabt to joind the crypto industry they should need to learn the basics of trading it along how the market fluctuate on a frequently basis so that if another dip comes they will not panic but rather analize and adapt to the market.
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Less participants / More participants in Bounty - Which one do you prefer ? on: April 14, 2018, 03:53:54 PM
For me its neither, because I focus more on the target market of tge ICO and its potential for growth within that market segment, its like more on quality of the ICO then the quantity of the participants.  Like if there would be a crypto platform for music if their is one, and I check if the team behind it if they are communicating the the community. That is one of the reasons I have chosen photochain as my first bounty because I see a great potential from this project
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Should we limit members in one campaign? on: April 14, 2018, 03:40:30 PM
If a bounty limits their participants that would only mean more workload for the members that joined the project. And I think that is one of the reasons bounty managers open boubties to as much participants of the bounty. Think about it no ones is going to agree to a work that has a haevy workload with a pay that has an unknown value. That is why they are splitting up the workload to many people as they could with minimal workload so that the members that joined the campaign will have equal oportunity on the payout depending on their work.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience is the key on: April 13, 2018, 06:58:39 PM
Patience and discipline comes hand in hand. It is applicable in any route that you would want to go in the crypto industry and that is what I believe in. That is why most people that goes to this industry is convinced that they are losing their money or investment when in reality is that they are not patient enough and they just jumped on the hype. In this it is also important to have proper expectation and learn the business/industry first.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is new way to get Free money? on: April 13, 2018, 03:38:33 PM
There is no such thing as free money. I think that everything in this world has the logic that you would need to provide or give something of equal value to get something. Same applies to ICOs even if you get your coins form airdrops, I think this is just a marketing strategy to promote their altcoins.
259  Economy / Economics / Re: Would bitcoin help teach kids about saving? on: April 12, 2018, 05:16:28 PM
In my opinion it will not because if you did not teach your children proper financial education then they would just spend the BTCs that they earn. Financial education should start with the parents so you would need learn to discipline your self first before you teach it to them.
260  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: April 12, 2018, 05:11:28 PM
It is better to invest to get better profits and make your money work for it self, however only invest what you can afford to lose because some investments are very risky. Also you should learn first the basics on what market that you want to invest into to lessen the risk to you will take.
