I don't think a substantial difficulty increase would hurt us either.

I love cryptsy, but it has gotten very twitchy

I'm trying to mine frozen w/ a 5850, smelter crashes almost immediately. Is this a compatible card?

I think we're going to be between 20 and 25 for quite a while.

rebuy with your profits you made from selling at 50 and your gold. All you need is 1-2 million to make it worth while. With larger volume you don't have to worry about big spreads. You can sell at 25 and rebuy at 23 and make decent profit. Also less chance of missing out if the coin takes off.
the only coin I've EVER had a million of or more was IFC. lol

agreed. hindsight is 20/20

I long to go back to the $15 and below days, and just invest paychecks into btc...
anymore, I just mine qrk w/ my cpu until I see a startup coin that looks promising. then I mine until I hit a limit that I decide on, and hold.

I use to daytrade, but I've found that I"m horrible at it.
Me too. Tried it with quark, stablecoin and ... wait for it ... bitcoin. I had some bitcoins, sold at $80 because I thought it will go way down and what happend? 2 month later we was at $1200. Never again yeah, I sold 5btc at 80, then almost cried when it jumped

it requires far too much trend watching for me.

I remember Krugercoin was sitting at like 70 satoshi for a long time, then in a matter of a couple of days, it jumped to 12-1400 satoshi. I would say it's definitely possible to have that happen w/ Lotto as well.
Another way to make LOT stand from other alts is if someone came out with "real" minted lottocoin blanks which could be loaded with actual LOT, that would let people load their LOT into a physical coin. (hey, they can even accept LOT as payment for each blanks too!)
anyways, just a suggestion, because I see that happening with BTC and LTC already.
I like this idea. There are a few altcoins that do this. We can even mint them in different metals

Along for the ride on this one.

ok, so I've been asking around for developers that are familiar w/ quark. Nothing so far, but will keep updating. Anything else that anyone can think of that might be a good addition?
I'd like to discuss some ideas for a coin that I have, and get a quote on what it would/should run me to get it done. If you have experience in developing quark coins, I'd love to hear from you.

both these and molecules would look amazing as physical silver coins w/ holographic centers

Has anyone considered translating the actual lottocoin supported game sites into other languages? I believe if we want the Chinese on this, it will require the casino/gaming sites to be in different languages to help raise LOT's interest
that's a great idea! I hope one of our great devs can do it.

Do any of you have developers that you've worked with in the past that you can recommend to me? I would like to run some ideas by him/her/them and get some opinions.

wow, usually an update is broadcast all over the thread.
