Nearly 1 year since this thread was created.
BTA is accepted on 10 Exchanges - one of which is anonymous
3 Different Android Wallets
BTA was created after a discussion with the community. Now it is time to move into Phase 2 & 3. Once voting is finished we will move forward with POS discussion, if POS is still in the lead. Phase 3 will be integration to a Barter platform. More info will come on that soon.
For now, I make it clear that I strongly advise to buy and sell BTA wisely.

Voting will end in one week.
Make sure your vote counts.
Proof of stake is leading.
We know the benefits of POS in regards to the overall vision of BTA.
Some things to start thinking about are:
1/ What type of POS? 2/ When does POS begin?
We will discuss in more detail once voting has ceased.

When a web wallet is avaiable?
We currently do not have a web wallet, as from previous experience not liked the idea of one, to easy for you to lose your money.

good jobs dev... keep spirit to hard work and build big comunity It was completed a while back, but Coinomi just did an update and included it. More exposure for BTA and another android wallet. Brings it to a total of 3 Android Wallets: 1. BTA Android Wallet 2. Uberpay Android Wallet 3. Coinomi Android Wallet I believe that both Uberpay and Coinomi have other projects in the works such as an apple wallet etc.

ahhh the great debate mining vs staking personally i don't know much about the tech side of either but from a trader vs investor side it really comes down to perception of currency vs commodity with mining ,miners tend to sell immediately for profits or hold and waits for bigger profits either way they sell with pos they buy and hold and either takes small profits with the interest or hold long term for compound interest and sell annually or let it grow to appoint the are happy with. providing you have a good dev and community that are in it for long term, and i think bata does, treating it like a investment(commodity) well keep people from selling quickly and leaving vs holding long term, less coins on market ,better value. with no reason to hold except to buy and sell ,you always got to have something on the go to stay relevant and keep people interested ,with a interest based coin, takes that pressure off dev and investors earn when times are slow between projects. theres coins for trading and coins for investing in. if a coin is successful and goes up you sell it ,with a interest based coin you have a choice, sell or hold and let the coin earn for you
just my personal opinion
You raise valid points regarding mining and staking. It is great to get more input from the community. Yeah both is good, have low block reward for mining to keep the blockchain ticking over and a pos reward does encourage people to hold. As it's pretty much free money. Plus having the client open all the time lends itself to including a store tab in it. The free money part worries me - nothing is for free

There is no urgency regarding any changes, any changes will be calculated and measured against what the affect it may have on current and future holders of BTA.
Livecoin appears to be doing large amounts of volume of BTA daily which looks promising and has surpassed trading on Bittrex by thousands.
Personally I think that Multi Algo will not give BTA the result it requires, yes it would be great for decentralization, but the majority of BTA is either being exchanged or held, so it is not a fair enough option.

i understand PoSV can be problematic with low diff, when someone opens an old wallet there can be problems with forks from the sudden weight/stake spike. but.. that's third hand knowledge as i recall it happening to some coin that i don't recall it's name Thanks for the input regarding PoSV Bumbacoin. For the time being I have put changed the vote for POS (rather than PoSV) as there maybe other types of POS to explore.

PoSV would be great. A lot of people like staking, could help increase volume and marketcap. I'd love to stake some of these.
Buy and buy more Keep hold for investement Great advice Buy and buy more... that's golden.

Only 10 votes so far. Lets keep them coming.
Thanks

Added adjust difficulty retargeting to voting - such as DWG3
We should also be open to other ideas if anyone has anything to input.

People should check out the exchange as it is truly anonymous.
Being on I2P network, cryptos such as BTA also have wallets available via anon git on I2P. The wallets can be connected to I2P nodes bypassing the clearnet, allowing your transaction the privacy and security you deserve and should demand from cryptocurrencies.

I voted on POS Just for sake that it will give a spike on interest to the coin and get Bata seen by more eyes. It will add some stability to the network and keep the blockchain ticking over also coins will be lost by users so you want to have some inflation but obviously getting the percentage right is critical. I think having a bonus double POS period for the first 10k blocks with plenty of notice to users as a celebration then slipping back to a 8-10% stake annually. But I dont know plenty of people are much more clued on this than me. Remember to bring this up if vote goes towards POS, for now, we need to focus on the voting at hand.

Another optional would be PoSV - which then would work with a Barter platform.
Any thoughts?
If PoSV was a option what kind of % were you thinking and is there any other pos coins that has a I2P feature The % rate would need to be discussed. I believe okcoin is I2P compatible (...I maybe wrong), but the bigger picture is the barter platform, because after all BTA will become the trade dollars of the platform / app. finding the right % point is very important to low nobody stakes to high coin looses credibility in my opinion Yes I believe that if PoSV is the choice of the community, then we will have to discuss and vote on a %. This needs creditability all the way.
