I formally deleted the SSN channel and Slack Network for BTA - no one came up with any reason why it should be kept. There was little interest in the channel and that is why we have forums.

Speaking with others the conclusion on why we are experiencing issues is:

Someone or some pool is raising the difficulty higher, then drop off the main network, and mine on their own two nodes that have no communication with the outside network for a few hours, and the difficulty drops again until they are mining blocks at the hardcoded blocktime, then they go back on the network and submit the blocks they found.

An issue with scrypt & asic miners.

Hence the vote on Multi Algo.

I believe okcoin is I2P compatible (...I maybe wrong), but the bigger picture is the barter platform, because after all BTA will become the trade dollars of the platform / app.

finding the right % point is very important to low nobody stakes to high coin looses credibility

Yes I believe that if PoSV is the choice of the community, then we will have to discuss and vote on a %. This needs creditability all the way.

I voted on POS Just for sake that it will give a spike on interest to the coin and get Bata seen by more eyes.

It will add some stability to the network and keep the blockchain ticking over

also coins will be lost by users so you want to have some inflation but obviously getting the percentage right is critical.   

I think having a bonus double POS period for the first 10k blocks with plenty of notice to users as a celebration 
then slipping back to a 8-10% stake annually.

But I dont know plenty of people are much more clued on this than me.

i understand PoSV can be problematic with low diff, when someone opens an old wallet there can be problems with forks from the sudden weight/stake spike.

but.. that's third hand knowledge as i recall it happening to some coin that i don't recall it's name

Thanks for the input regarding PoSV Bumbacoin.

For the time being I have put changed the vote for POS (rather than PoSV) as there maybe other types of POS to explore.
