OK. First of all THX again for doing all this work. Simulfunding was a great surprise and is a hell of a feature which I would not have expected when trying out the lock boxes. I had some good and bad investments with Bitcoin so far. However, I have only made good donations.   Please add one of your many awesome Question marks with tool tip. No need for a Manual with armory. These things explain almost everything and you learn a lot about the Bitcoin protocol and more.  There seems to be a strange line break there and "Untitled."  "Cannot be signed by you" However, both watching-only wallets are marked as "mine". Therefore the comment should rather be that the signature cannot be given from this instance of Armory, and then explain the conditions (keys are not here or not your wallet). Whatever, doesn't seem 100% correct. Maybe a "light" green would be good in case you can even cover it with the architecture. What about Simulfunding of normal single key addresses? What about if I want to set up a 10 party 0.1 BTC simulfund to give to Armory? Would you have to set up a 1/1 lockbox for that? Hi, I have a question. When we use multi sig. Can the transaction be created by the person who initially made the wallet or can a transaction be created by any of the people who are part of the group? Please confirm.
You can export the lockbox an import it on any other instance of Armory also multiple instances. However, let's get this confirmed by etotheipi. |

Feature request, not related to multi sig: When Armory is connected I would love to see the number of connections bitcoind has to the network. I have only recently started to open port 8333 so I can help the network as I am runnng Armory anyway and have a fast connection. Now how do I check the number of connections in Armory? Maybe there is a good way. I just think on the bottom where it states the number of blocks and shows connected in green would be a great space to add this. Could be a similar icon to what is known from Bitcoin-QT. Maybe just as a tool tip when hovering over. Could be that I am missing something?

Na, man muss auch sehen, das die meisten LeuteJünger der "noch-mehr-Hashrate-ist-gut-fürs-Netz"-Gemeinde immer predigen, wie toll das doch ist, das Hashrate immer billiger wird und gleichzeitig immer weniger Coins errechnet, ein inflationärer Kreis, der irgendwann poppt.
Und die behaupten ja auch gern mal, das mehr Th für mehr Sicherheit sorgen.
Und nun ist der Punkt gekommen, an dem viele den Miner anstecken und vergessen, gleichzeitig kommen andere Leute auf den Trichter ihre Dinger abzuschalten, was zu diesen Verschiebungen führt, und schon ist Weltuntergang.
Ich gehe davon aus, das sich in absehbarer Zukunft die Pools genau wie die Miner(-Geräte) letztendlich auf wenige riesige Anbieter konzentrieren, weil sich keiner mehr 'nen Kopp macht.
Ob das Ding popt oder nicht, werden wir sehen. Mehr Hashrate bringt aber mehr Sicherheit, insbesondere je näher wir an die 10-14 nm ASICs Grenze kommen. Dort ist physikalsch mal schluss mit immer kleiner und dann wird es wirklich interessant, on Equipment allenfalls etwas Nachhaltger betrieben werden kann als heute. Dann wird das Argument, dass irgend eine Entität mal schnell Hashpower (über 100% des der bestehenden Basis) aus dem Ar*** zaubern kann langsam etwas schwer nachvollziehbar. Heute kann ich mir das schon Vorstellen, wobei ich glaube, dass das eher paranoide Gedanken sind als dass wirklich jemand so viel Geld investieren will. Zudem hat der die gleichen Probleme wie jeder Miner: Wann wir er life gehen und wie wir dann die globale Hashrate sein? |

Ich sehe viele gute Entwicklungen und auch einge, die sicher noch "Potential" haben. Dass z.B. Apple wieder Wallets zulässt ist ein massiver Schritt, der zeigt wie weit BTC schon gekommen ist. Ich bin auch der vollen Überzeugung, dass dieser Technologische Durchbruch noch lange nicht vergessen ist. Ob in der Form von Bitcoin oder einer anderen, ist letztendlich egal. Wäre jedoch schön, wenns BTC auch in 10 Jahren noch gäbe. Die Peisentwicklung sehe ich zur Zeit als sehr gut an. Als es über 600$ ging habe ich mir etwas Sorgen gemacht und bin deshalb froh, fass hier vorerst mal Pause ist. Die grösste Gefahr sehe ich darin, dass es eine Bankenkrise gibt in einem Land das etwas grösser ist als Zypern (z.B. Brasilien) und das Netzwerk dann schlicht überlastet wird. Die Skalierbarkeit ist die grösste Gefahr.
Habe heute gerade das erste mal ins deutschsprachige BTCtalk geschaut. Bin nicht mehr viel hier. Eher auf r/bitcoin. Daytrader bin ich nicht, auch kein Spekulant. Ich habe einfach einen gewissen Stock und gedenke auch nicht zu reduzieren, ausser es muss sein. Ich glaube an die Idee und kaufe immer wieder mal BTC nach, um wieder welche auszugeben. Ich habe schob Jugendherrbergen damit bezahlt, Sushi gegessen, online diverses eingekauft, Schulden beglichen und auch schon eniges gespendet, hauptsächlich an open-source SW projekte.
Die Schnautze voll: Hmmm... Es geht schon einigs an Zeit drauf und manchmal denke ich, man hätte sie besser einsetzen können als auf Reddit rumzuhängen (Ich mache ach vieles anderes wie Vorträge geben, bin in der Community aktiv usw.). Die Schnautze voll habe ich manchmal vor allem von der Berichterstattung der Massenmedien. Und nicht, dass sie SR usw. erwähnen, das ist nur korrekt. Ich rege mich meissten auf, wenn technisch kompletter Quatsch berichtet wird. Scheint sich langsam aber sicher auch etwas zu bessern.

Ich wollte LobbyControl e.V ( http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lobbycontrol und https://www.lobbycontrol.de) unterstützen. Sie bekämpfen Lobbyismus in der negativen Form und kämpfen für mehr Demokratie und Transparenz. ZB gegen TTIP/CETA die ja ein gutes Beispiel für negativen Lobbyismus sind und unser aller Leben stark negativ beeinflussen könnte. Sie waren offen für den Vorschlag Bitcoins zu spenden, womöglich auch durch die Höhe meiner Spende , und nach einigem erklären konnte ich sie überzeugen bitpay.com für Spenden zu nutzen. Dort können sie die Spenderadressen per Formular abfragen für den Fall dass jemand eine Spendenquittung haben will. Anonyme Spenden sind aber trotzdem möglich. Außerdem erlaubt bitpay automatische Abbuchungen aufs Bankkonto. Der Empfänger braucht sich daher nicht wirklich mit Bitcoins beschäftigen was erstmal ein großes Plus ist. Am Ende läuft natürlich alles trotzdem unter dem Label Bitcoins. Der Spendenlink ist noch nicht im Hauptdomainmenü aber die Seite existiert schon unter https://www.lobbycontrol.de/unterstutzen/bitcoin-spenden/ und wird demnächst auch ins Menü eingebunden bzw in der Seite verlinkt. Es wäre toll wenn noch mehr Bitcoiner etwas spenden damit sie sehen dass Bitcoins den Aufwand wert sind. Ich denke das kann der Community und Bitcoin nur helfen. I am using Kleopatra for all things PGP. I have tried other Windows PGP tools as well. I want to know how I can publically sign someone’s key on a keyserver without ever taking the key onto an online system. I can sign/encrypt files and text offline and then transfer them away from the offline system. I would also like to be able to sign a key offline and then broadcast the signature from an online system. Does anyone here have experience with that? I do not trust any online system. Seem to be a bit biased by the Armory Security Concept.

Question: If I create let's say a 6/9 lockbox and want to spend some funs from there, is it possible to send the unsigned tx to all 9 keyholders and have them sign the transaction. Can I then fuse it together once I have six signatures? Or do all the 6 participants have to sign sequentially? Would be really great if they could all sign in parallel.
