The people who "Jumped ship" are probably regretting it now I'd imagine.

That's a super-sexy PCB...  At first I was wanting to trade my Saturns for Jupiters (Not possible I was told by Liam today); but now, after today's announcement, I'm more than happy with choosing multiple Saturns over Jupiter, because of the very last line on the announcement reads: "( The controller board also has and expansion for additional linux devices for future upgrade/ second generation)"Which means (I think) that I'll be able to purchase the Gen2 boards, and mount them inside existing Saturns... Possibly turning a Gen1 Saturn into a Gen2 Jupiter.... or even a 50/50 split...2 gen1 & 2 gen2 boards..Am I right along this kind of thinking?

You may be able to move 2 modules over yourself if you are so inclined. (exit warranty)

One advantage with 2 units you'll have is onsite spares for everything except hashing modules.

So this is your ROI if you got 600GH/s RIGHT NOW. As in, it is right next to you and turned on humming away creating BTC.

It is safe to say that BFL better stop shipping, as should Avalon, BitFury and lots of others. This may turn out worse than the chart shows.

Cherry-pick your stats much?

http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/a/557dff2f2a

Who is cherrypicking stats?
Your figure would need for the diff increase to be under 25% per jump.
That is not the fact.

Try plugging in 82%  PER MONTH
1+35%+35%=1.8225

That is the current reality.

You were getting fucked in the exit orifice before, now you poured sand in the vaselene.

You are definately a masochist.

Bitcoinorama, why don't you register as a reseller?
I'll be ordering 2 Jupiters soon and to be honest there's no one I feel I can trust.
I wrote to John K, Graet, theymos and Gavin, but nothing Sad

You don't have to trust anyone. (other than KnC)
All the reseller does is get you to order from KnC with their reseller ID.
If you're buying a new machine you use your favorite reseller's "reseller id" when you do so.
It's all done through KnC.

It's more of a referral bonus than a traditional "reseller".
That's why KnC can allow any previous customer to be a 'reseller'.

I'd imagine a couple of the popular posters will get some shiny before it's all said and done.

See the link below, It just tells KnC to credit me 1/10 of a unit if you order using my number.

https://www.kncminer.com/?resellerid=206

(^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ shameful plug)

If you were referring to shady "shares of the resulting miner" arrangements or somesuch, nevermind you're on your own.

Disclaimer: not runnin windoze

If your BIOS is set to AUTO display try unplugging the VGA from the motherboard and reboot. You should see the POST (Power On Self Test) from the BIOS before it even begins to load the OS.

If your monitor has multiple inputs triple check that you have the correct input selected.

As stated above you can mine on an AMD GPU with no monitor connected.
If your OS see's the card you should be good to go.

Hope this helps Smiley

40nm sounds cool.

Is this the smallest possible at this point in time??

KnCMiner claims 28nm

EDIT: changed 26 to 28 as pointed out below
386  Other / Beginners & Help / monitor on Intel CPU/GPU with cgminer under Linux on: July 14, 2013, 06:25:32 AM
Hi and thx for cgminer, it does the job well.

As Mylon posted here

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?PHPSESSID=vpar9ssp7nbh69ok8m81komgk4&topic=28402.msg2649626#msg2649626

I have the same setup running.
cgminer 3.3.1
I don't use any /etc/X11/xorg.conf file.
I do have a monitor connected to the AMD GPU, but do not use it if I am mining.
(waiting for my ASIC)  Grin

cgminer has no AMD GPU set/query

bfgminer DOES adjust the AMD GPU and report status
It can be done.

They seem to share a lot of code but obviously there are differences in the GPU portion.

If I do run X11 with the monitor on the AMD I take a hit on one CPU core, the system input gets laggy, and it mines less.

It does work as it is, and cranks out the hashes.

I'm not bitchin/requesting features, just adding my 0.0000002 LTC.

thx again for cgminer
