Hey,

Just finished bets as well. If the url for the bet is https://www.pdstats.co/b/16433996771, then the image is https://www.pdstats.co/b/16433996771.png.

Here is an example with a random bet:

Please note that this it the alpha version, and things will probably go wrong. Also note that bitcointalk caches images.

Nice work! now all we need is some colours lol, like red for those who have negative profit, green for positive etc.. what do you think? Roll Eyes

Just updated it to add a bit more color:

EDIT: looks like BTCtalk is caching the images

Site is back up, let me know if you find any problems. I am experimenting a feature that will allow you to embed images of user and bet stats here. No promises, but if it works, I think it will be really cool!

Embed images. That's new feature. I will definitely test it it and report it in here Smiley

I am experimenting with it today, and ill see if I can get it done. It looks pretty hard but Ill PM you with a prototype if and when im done.

That will be great. Waiting for it Smiley

I've scripted up a very very BETA version of what it could possible look like.

Here it is:
Me:

Stunna:

You can try it out yourself. If then url is https://www.pdstats.co/u/nahtnam, then the image url is https://www.pdstats.co/u/nahtnam.png.

Several things to note:
1. This is very very early BETA, things will probably not work well
2. It is pretty slow, and alignment is off.
3. This only works for users, I have not created the bets part yet.

I am going to bed now, but if you have any suggestions, comments, bugs, etc, feel free to reply or send me a PM.

Thanks.

Don't play primedice if you want to save your money. primedice is thief. fuck you and your mother stunna.

when you place any high ammount bet you will lost 100%, you can't win here.

As people have already said, the site is provably fair. You can verify every single bet that you want. It's essentially your fault for choosing a bad seed.
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can BTC.com Be Trusted? on: April 23, 2017, 07:54:30 PM
Looks trustworthy but I would personally rather use one of the trusted and reliable ones that have worked and you know what they say, don't fix something that works fine. I personally use BitGo but I've used Blockchain.info for awhile and both of them are pretty viable options for someone that wants to really get the go ahead on working with a wonderful made wallet.

So, just to end it here I'd say don't trust it unless someone says its good and trusted members put reviews up about it. Until then, just stick with the trusted ones.

I used to use blockchain.info, but after creating this thread, I found bitpay wallet. I trust BitPay because ive used them before, they are a reputable company, and they dont have control over the coins but the apps still look good.

I am a C/AL programmer Smiley probably never heard of this programming language ?

Nope, never heard of it. What is it? What is it used for? More importantly, how old is it because I feel like its a really old language.

I currently use nodejs with hapi/koa/express.

Thanks.

Hey,

I saw that BTC.com was added to this list: https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet (in the web section). Can I trust it? Anyone know how good it is? What features do they have?

Thanks.

Same question also applied to other web wallets listed there. Overall, they are all web wallets.

Thinking it was listed there as featured wallets by bitcoin.org, we can see that it passed some of their standard why it was listed there. If it's worth a shot? For me, yes as long as not for storage purposes.

BTC.COM is re-branded website of Blocktrail.com and I'm sure that they can be trusted. But I don't think that wallet listing on Bitcoin.org can't be main criteria to decide is it wallet trustable or not. Bitcoin.org have listed most centralized bitcoin wallets like Xapo or Coinbase which are known for locking users funds, asking for personal documents and etc, but they removed most popular online wallet Blockchain.info for some unknown ''security problems''.

Expect some personal authentication once you used a legit exchanges in most of the cases. Those exchanges won't run freely if they are decentralized. If you don't like the system, better not to use them.

I've heard of every single one of those wallets except for BTC.com which is why I started this thread. I was originally planning on storing my bitcoins there but ive decided to use bitpays wallet.
113  Other / Off-topic / Re: What causes older Mobile Phones to Slow Down? on: April 23, 2017, 01:37:33 AM
I think the operating systems and hardware on phones get obsolete, and need require a technical upgrade. When my Iphone slow down, is not responding properly, then iPhone Recovery Mode may solve problem. I put iphone in recovery mode, and reinstall iOS without erasing data. Sometimes it needs to be done.

Im still looking to know the answer to my question, I want to know if its the quality of the build or the read/write limit of the chips inside.
Prob combination of both.

My television doesnt slow down, the speedometer on the car doesnt slow down. My first Generation Xbox doesnt slow down. My PSP doesnt slow down. My Microwave oven, that works after nearly 20 years.

So why are Mobile phones and tablets the only devices to slow down. Im going with Read/Writes

Because all of those devices dont get updates nearly as often as your phone. Your phones os and apps update constantly and become bigger and more hungry as time goes on.

I can only recommend downloading the PDF file they gave you when you first made the wallet, It should help you recover your wallet In case the service close or they go down for one reason or another.

I have created a wallet there.
And also downloaded the pdf file for future recovery if needed.

But I want to learn one thing.
Lets say btc.com closed there service or scam maybe. Then how do we recover our bitcoin with that pdf file?

Just curious to know.

Which wallet you are going to choose according to that the recovery process is their, if you choosing web wallet then you wont be getting any pdf files as web wallet are not safe as they are not controlled by users, desktop wallet is very good, because in this you can recover your wallet if it gets lost or any other problem issues, Like electrum wallet in this when you are installing it it give your passphrase which is enough to reconstruct the wallet if you have lost it or any where you can download the electrum wallet and insert the passphrase and your old wallet is reconstructed

I signed up at btc.com.... It is a web wallet and also they have wallet for mobile.
During sign up process, I downloaded a pdf file for account recovery.

So my question was, if btc.com close their service or maybe scam then how do we recover our bitcoins? No Offence!
This question can be stand for all the web based wallets? Such as blockchain.info / xapo / coinbase etc.

As of me, I have never used any desktop wallet. I have always used web based wallets. My all bitcoins are divided and kept into 4 places.

They will obviously follow a BIP standard, so you just need to find an app that supports the same standard and you can import your bitcoins there.
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can BTC.com Be Trusted? on: April 21, 2017, 11:12:15 PM
I have used them myself and I'm still using them for several months now, I must say that I'm very satisfied with their services when It comes to the Web wallet but the phone wallet is definitely a little buggy. The wallet was previously known as Blocktrail and now It got acquired by Bitmain so there is nothing to be worried about.

I can only recommend downloading the PDF file they gave you when you first made the wallet, It should help you recover your wallet In case the service close or they go down for one reason or another.
If you are fine with having your bitcoin stored online by a third party then BTC.com is as good as any other web wallet.

Bitmain is known Bitcoin Unlimited supporter so in case of possible hard fork in the future, your coins stored there will probably magically shift to Bitcoin Unlimited tokens Smiley

As to me, that's one of the reasons to stay away from them

Whenever and wherever politics is involved, ordinary people are most likely set to suffer and lose at the end of the day. So don't get surprised when Bitcoin Unlimited suddenly dies, your bitcoins will just magically disappear altogether. If you have a decent amount of bitcoins, it seems that your only viable option is paper wallet. I wouldn't trust so many coins even to a desktop wallet since you can't be 100% sure the codebase hasn't been tainted or tampered with. And this is apart from regular threats like viruses, trojans and keyloggers

Arent we in control of the coins thought. Thats what the bitcoin website says. In that case, cant we use some software to extract and move our bitcoins?

One more thing. The creators are Chinese right? I dont know what that entails, but doesnt the government have a lot of power over these companies?

Hm, I decided to go with BitPay Wallet instead. I know BitPay and so I feel like I can trust them more. Also they have a few integrations which is cool

Just made another big update!

http://pd3.co has now moved to https://www.pdstats.co! Don't worry, all requests made to pd3 will be redirected to pdstats.co for the time being so all old urls will still work. This update was long overdue, sorry it took so long.

Also semi-rewrote the code to use a framework I wrote. You can see the new code here: https://github.com/nahtnam/pdstats. If you know Node.js or HTML, CSS, or JS, feel free to make a pull request.

Thanks.

This is said every year, but I honestly dont believe it will happen. There needs to be a perfect mix of conditions for this to really work out. There has to be an economic down turn, a corrupt government, a banking problem, and usability of bitcoin for it to actually become popular.
