Can I issue a scam thing if I have his email address?

The forum doesnt use scam tags anymore. You can make a thread in the scam accusations thread if you want.

my good friend paying for dedicated servers with bitcoin every month

What servers take bitcoin at this time I recall a few doing that but anyways that is cool
Only sometimes if I see something unique enough that I can get for Bitcoin otherwise a holder Smiley

Many companies accept bitcoins for servers.

I use BTC on CryptoThrift.com, a cool site

I used cryptothrift a couple weeks ago, it was one of the worst online buying experiences I have ever had. It had nothing to do with CryptoThrift, the site worked just fine, but the seller was a complete moron. Just after I sent the payment I got an email like this:
Quote
Dude I asked you to pay through paypal.
Now you have wasted the bitcoins you spent.
You're fucking retarded. Those bitcoins are lost now. If you had just told me before you bought that you were going to pay with bitcoins...

But later he figured out how to use bitcoins and it turned out ok.

Lol, he set it up on a ebay-like site that used bitcoin, and he didnt know how to use bitcoins. Cheesy

Online, occasionally, in real life, no.

Same for me. I dont know any store in my area the accepts BTC. Sad

I don't know of any government or commercial lessor who would allow a bitcoin-only store to exist.

Well there isnt a store that even accepts BTC what so ever!

After Just-Dice stopped accepting bets, I'm looking for new places.

I'm playing on Prime-Dice currently. So far it's good. A couple of things I'd like to point out in the interface:
Lacking a halving button for your bet means I have to manually retype in my base amount after every win. I don't think this is standard practice for any other casino sites.

Another UI design you should look into, is to split the roll high/low button into TWO. The interface I'm used to at other casino sites makes it much more obvious and quicker.

PD3 has exactly that! Testing stages are nearly complete Smiley
Does PD3 have sounds effects on win/lose?

Sound effects ? LOL . I always hated that . And turned off . I dont think there will be sound effects on pd3 . I would like sound notification of a new msg on chat while im on other tab .
I think it would be nice to hear a sound when you win/lose so you can make decision for next bet, but for someone like you who don't enjoy the sounds there will be definitely option to turn off.

By default it should be off.

1070  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Class action lawsuit against Coinbase, inc on: June 25, 2014, 06:25:54 PM
The only thing i would like to sue them for is for the vulnerability in their system that led to my email address and legal name being discovered with hundreds of others and posted on pastebin, occuring on April the first of this year.

Unfortunately, they resorted to making your account inaccessible shortly there after unless you clicked "I agree" on a legal document saying you agreed to never participate in a class action lawsuit against them.

Anyone with half a brain realizes that this is extortion, and you can still sue the pants off of these ahem people, but be prepared. They have much more money to spend on legal council than any of us do.

Other than this singular instance where i feel they are ultimately responsible, i treat most of these posts in this thread as the fud that they are. Coinbase has never scammed me and i highly doubt they ever scammed anyone in this thread either.

Its true that their fee's are high, however this is merely the free market since they are the last remaining US based exchange.

Their fee's are still cheaper than Campbx's which were simply outrageous.

All in All, if they offered to compensate me for their negligence in patching the vulnerability that ultimately lead to the revealing of my name and email address, i would gladly withhold participation in any suit against them. This is america and money talks.

I never had to press a button saying "I agree".

Were you on the list of leaked email/usernames? it was only a handful of users about 1300 in total. I realize this could possibly make me look like a liar since according to you, a user not on the list you never were prompted to agree to the amended terms of service, but i am not lying. check the terms of service, you will see they added the new section about not participating in a class action lawsuit. They removed the vulnerability finally, but not until refusing to pay the hacker who found it and refusing to fix it, leading to them having their asses handed to them by said hacker occuring on or near "April Fools Day".

Well, I was on the list, but if its on the TOS then there is nothing you can do about it.
1071  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Venmo on: June 25, 2014, 06:14:44 PM
I buy BTC through venmo all the time, it's awesome. If you use a debit card there are no fees.

I love venmo for having no fees. The problem is, are there chargebacks?
1072  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Venmo on: June 25, 2014, 06:14:19 PM
yes people hit me up all the time to by with venmo.  It is scam central.

How? They chargeback?
1073  Economy / Auctions / Re: Domain Btcplay.com on: June 25, 2014, 06:12:54 PM

The problem is to know how much this domain name is worth? Wink

If it sounds good, then it good. Cheesy

This is bad... REAL BAD.  Coinbase has changed their stealing mechanism from calling it "high risk transaction" to "anti-fraud" now.

They used to say it is the "algorithm" that detects it.  Now they say it is just to make sure the bank account isn't stolen, THAT IS WHY THERE IS A VERIFICATION PROCESS!!!  Good thing for screenshots before they cover up everything.  Time to go to the FBI and whatever agency / journalist that will take a look at all this.  And talk to good lawyers... thank God for free consultations.

If you email support, they might give you the transaction at the original price!

No they won't.  It will cost them too much. I had bought it at $150 a piece....  I already emailed them many times.  I already told my bank everything.  My bank could only help me recoup $1200 that i lost.

Email support one more time, and quote their reply.

P.S. Dont yell at them.
