1081  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What city has the highest amount of bitcoin users? on: June 25, 2014, 12:03:18 AM
I have found the Bitcoin is legal in Germany and Spain. So it could be any cities from these two country.
In what countries are Bitcoins illegal? Shocked

It was in China.
1082  Economy / Auctions / Re: Domain Name - Freebitcoin.co on: June 24, 2014, 10:05:26 PM
Hi,

I have recently bought the domain Freebitcoin.co, and I'm interested in auctioning it off.

The domain has been registered on Namecheap and expires on the 21/06/2015.

I will take BTC bids, however they can be displayed in either USD or BTC form.

The auction will start with a minimum bid of $1 with a minimum increment of $1.

The auction will end ~3 days after the last bid.

Good luck! PM me for any questions.

$1

$2
1083  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you USE your BTC? on: June 24, 2014, 09:58:36 PM
I do. I'm a student and I don't have a credit card right now so most of my purchases are through bitcoin, if any.

You can always apply for a minor bank account or a payal student account.
1084  Economy / Digital goods / Re: (WTB) Starbucks GCs! on: June 24, 2014, 09:56:16 PM

EDIT: PM me if you are interested.
1085  Other / Off-topic / Re: whats the deal with .orgs on: June 24, 2014, 09:55:05 PM
I dont think there are any rules for any domains (as far as profit goes).

You can make as much money as you want off of a .org although its not ideal.

1088  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal Integrating Bitcoin soon. on: June 24, 2014, 09:46:30 PM
bitcoinmania.eu/paypal-bitcoin-integration-coming-very-soon-says-ebay-ceo-international-business-times-uk.html

No one in their right mind would use BTC to pay for anything on PayPal. The credit card chargeback protection has always been the front lines of consumer protection from seller fraud on PayPal. Buyer wins 99% of the time.

Most likely there's no way to tell how the buyer is paying. However if there was a way to require BTC payment, that would be a game changer for sure. Because PayPal's policy is not to interfere with intangible goods. Buyer is basically out of luck. Scamming will go the other way as sellers receiving PayPal payments will be secure from chargebacks.

Then there's the issue about withdrawls in BTC and having your PayPal account hacked.

Who will receive BTC payments? PayPal or the seller? It will be interesting to see how this will work at the end. Either way there's probably going to be scamming as usual.

I think paypal will act like an escrow service.
1089  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I need some advertise sites on: June 24, 2014, 09:44:56 PM
Hi guys,
I need some advertise sites. prefer PTC.
Thanks
Bitvisitor will be good choice.
0.01 for 1000 visitors and your site will be displayed for 5 minutes long.
Longer time to displayed = more chance your site will be explored by viewer.

I recommend A-ads.

1092  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Introducing Hive, a beautiful new wallet for Mac OS X on: June 24, 2014, 06:33:56 PM
Does Hive have an iOS app in development, or is this browser based interface the only way for iphone users to use a Hive wallet?
We aren't currently planning a fully native iOS app, that would be a lot of work and we just don't have enough people for that... There will probably be a Phonegap-based version though. Until a few weeks ago there was no point building a native app anyway, because Apple was rejecting them, this has only changed after the WWDC.

Cant you just port hive-js for iphone as a native app? It should work.

(or you could just have an iframe).

We have upgraded out servers! Everything should be 4x as fast! Enjoy! Smiley
Trying to take a quick look at it.  If this is 4X as fast I would've hate to have tried loading the old page.

*it just came up.

Very nice.  Clean and to the point.  I like it.

Yeah, I am very sorry about the speeds. Its really, really bad. I just bough Max-CDN and I will be installing it onto the server soon.

Sorry about that.
