1243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: February 09, 2018, 08:13:46 AM
I think $130 - $150 will be our stable average for a while...
a $20 range.. daytraders agony!

Yup, you're right, and in my opinion that's a very good price considering the huge loss Bitcoin experienced in the last days! Litecoin is still standing and it's doing it pretty well!

I totally agree.
To be used as a form of money and not just a store of value, the price needs to be realistic to the cosmetic appearance of LTC that 1.00000000 should be equal an amount of fiat which does not put people off buying a few extra 0.01LTC or 0.02LTC when they want to make a purchase via LitePay or similar. In this, the balance between consumers buying LTC and merchants selling LTC will hopefully keep the price stable (to a degree), and when a consumer purchases enough LTC to make a purchase, will also have a small amount left over to keep in a wallet, or to use for future purchases.

This was the hope for bitcoin when bitpay started up but the massive spike in the BTC price, IMHO, ruined bitcoin as a currency... however, not a bad thing for LTC.

It's very hard to think it was a coincidence Charlie Lee sold approach all time high, maybe he was trying to tell us something revealing that, bad thing is that after his action all market crumbled very bad. Now there's a little recovery but we are very far from tranquility zone.

$140 per coin is a great level to be used as a proper currency, to buy and sell goods.. very low fees and not too expensive so people can load up wallets with 1,2,3 coins. I like this average.

1249  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Gekko - a javascript trading bot and backtesting platform on: January 31, 2018, 10:45:35 AM
gekko installed no problems on my mac.
i'm going to have to do a shedload of research and backtesting if I want to find a strategy that will work.
Does anyone have a strategy that has worked for them? bearing in mind that we are heading into february, and buying to hold is probably a more sensible option than daytrading?

thanks in advance.
1250  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC broke the triangle on: January 30, 2018, 09:24:05 PM
complete fucktards panicselling,

...or large mining operations cashing in their 2017 gains,, look at the January 2017 graphs.. almost identical.
If common sense were to prevail, rather than branding everyone as 'fucktards' you might contemplate that January each year is the best time for mining companies to cash in their hard work throughout the year, for innumerable reasons... new tax year being just one of those reasons.

personally, fucktards should STFU and buy on the dips. You're welcome.
1251  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I invest in BITCOIN ???? on: January 30, 2018, 09:12:04 PM

Hello guys, can you advise is it worth to mine on Dell laptop, with 4-Core Intel i7-7500U CPU @ 2.70GHz ?

What would be approximate daily earnings on pool mining?

I use a similar laptop as part of my overall hashrate and this laptop achieves approx 250-300 H/m
not a huge amount but every little helps.
1255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Pre-Sale] BelugaPay - Live VISA & Mastercard processing certification on: January 29, 2018, 08:27:51 AM
Excited to launch on @Nebula_Exchange following our #ICO #cryptocurrency

Good stuff.
Any more exchanges on the horizon, perhaps exchanges which are already active?
Surely there will be a Beluga portal for prospective clients to obtain tokens too?
If tokens are used to purchase BelugaPay services on a monthly/yearly basis, your end user will need to obtain tokens to secure use of the app for their businesses?
How far are you into the development of a platform where token holders can sell directly to your end users?

thanks.
