Did the original dev of disappear?Who is the development now?XDAG is sure to be a new project for the next generation.Because there is no block efficiency, the operation efficiency has been greatly improved.
What is xdag providing compared to other coins? Developer left his own project and nobody knows to understand his code. Only to translate the code and doing small things like website design doensn't mean anything. In my opinion xdag it's not worth to be mined or to hold further. Holding means losing money as there are many other coins which are outperforming last days. Every developer needs some time to understand the code and get familiar with the project when it is being handed over to him. We can't expect any new developer to have exactly the same mindset / knowledge about the code as cheatoshin0 had instantly, and yes the code is complex, but I believe it will be simplified in the future, and improved, and the fact that devs are committing translated comments, code style changes etc means at least they are LOOKING at the code, and analysing it, which is a great thing. well said. by the way.. your pool is excellent since it moved to the new server. great work!

What about the vapor? Did you check the percentage of the humidity in the cave? If there is 12°C cold and the asics are warm the moisture precipitates on the machines. So the rust will ruin the farm. What kind of solution do you have for this problem?
I asked about the rust issue earlier and the concerns were not addressed. I do however, look forwards to the video of the cave walkthrough, as has been promised.

O dear... The first time since launch we see a post from some one connected to the Litecoin Cash Team and he labels a user with concerns as a "DERP" So far we know: - Copy and Paste of Litecoin, x10 coins around 1% looted at the start. - Price manipulation from the beginning of launch (and still going) via Yobit. - No longer profitable to mine with old miners which was its main "Feature" - Communication cutoff as soon as went live on ANN thread which is a go to for people researching new projects. - Pre-mine loot was put in a vanity address from the start to keep things transparent, then one of project team confirms they are now mixing these coins... - The one post from a representative of Litecoin cash since launch is attacking a user rather than a helpful explanation. So far looks like a shit show, feelings of Feathercoin 2.0 spring to mind. Your a DERP if your buying LCC above $0.20 you nailed it. And i read up the page that LCC team have contacted Coinbase to help them(!?) They know that's never going to happen. And BINANCE!? Don't they have a $1m listing fee for new coins? good luck with that.

Your tone and facetious attitude towards other users does not surprise me one bit. I think the lack of updates here from you or the development team is all the conversation that people need to make up their own minds. derps probably won't want to be involved with you, or your coin, or your self-gratification in the other projects that you are partaking in. as far as press releases... paid-for articles are not a viable confirmation that a project is worth investing in. I worked in the media for years and these things are ten--penny. best wishes Mr Calem Derp.

I disagree that the pre-mine is huge. From looking at the address provided above, it is the same as stated in the original post: 5,5 milions LCC. Again, with the address provided above, we can see that under 8 thousands of those has been spent so far. I don't see any problems with that situation, it is as stated and spent accordingly to what the developer said so far. The pre-mine address above may give a false impression as it shows that over 200 milions were transferred (sent/received) but it looks like they just resend the change address to the original pre-mine address... nothing unusual or shady there.
1% is HUGE. Some of my rig... I mine BTC with old KFC Neptunes .. I make 1% of a BTC every month.. .it's a huge amount. 1% of the total supply of LCC is more like a huge amount

Hopefully the problems will be fixed soon. I can't mine XDAG until the linux miner is working properly and others will not be getting the correct shares if they are mining using the linux miner. Linux is ok for mining, there is some problem with miming in Ethos OS. Ethos is just the terminal for Ubuntu on our miners... we have 260 cards running on it mining equihash, and never had any problems. Only ever a problem with this miner on XDAG... Protovist has already advised that there is a problem and he is trying to fix it.

great work... and I know Protovist has been working to try and fix the bugs in the linux miner so although we are still early days, I see a bright future for XDAG. Still.. more days not mining is a pain... there should be a note in the OP to let people know that we have identified issues with the linux miner... raskul - Today at 07:39 good morning! any joy fixing the bugs? Protovist - Today at 07:43 Not yet. The more I look at it the more it looks like an architectural problem with the miner. Only the "best" (lowest) hash is submitted for each iteration, so adding additional GPUs doesn't help the number of shares submitted. Yes, my thanks to Protovist too for the porting GPU miner to Linux. Regarding his answer about GPU miner: architecture of GPU miner is similar to architecture of CPU-miner. After recieving a new task miner has some time to find descent share and then this share is sent to pool. All further shares for this task must be more difficult than previous. Pool anyway ignores all shares with low difficulty (because good shares were recieved previously), but your nopaid share value will decrease, because nopaid shares value is calculated as average value based on your shares. So it is your interest to send each next share for each task with more difficulty than previous. Using several GPUs has sense. The mining is actually a process of searching of some 64-bit value called nonce, which gives the lowest possible hash of block (nonce is written to block header). So GPU just start from some random nonce and increments this value for each hash. If use several GPUs - each GPU searches nonce in own range. So your chances to find a good nonce increases. One hand is good, but two hands is better. Hopefully the problems will be fixed soon. I can't mine XDAG until the linux miner is working properly and others will not be getting the correct shares if they are mining using the linux miner.

I now know why dev is going, because your community is shit. It is so pity that you are disappointed in community. The original sources are very entagled, it takes some time to understand some things. I hope you are not expecting all things to be done right now. If you are wondering how is it going: Current version T13.895 is considered as 0.1.895. Next release version is 0.2.0 Last changes in community repo: https://github.com/XDagger/xdag/tree/developSome planned changes for 0.2.0 (from my side): - information about last N blocks for block explorer https://github.com/jonano614/xdag/tree/LastBlocksInfo- possibilty to run pool on Windows https://github.com/jonano614/xdag/tree/WinPool- slight improvements for GUI version of wallet https://github.com/jonano614/xdag/tree/GuiWalletProbably something more will be ready before release. Also a lot of code-style changes are done. Also there is a chinese team. These guys are working on mobile client. Sincerely, Evgeniy. great work... and I know Protovist has been working to try and fix the bugs in the linux miner so although we are still early days, I see a bright future for XDAG. STOP dumping all on CryptoBridge, let the buy orders grow, come on assholes, 2 days ago people was buying at 28k sats, and now you beast are dumping at 2500 sats, i know is free money for most of you, but some of us are investing our money into this.
There are no market makers, liquidity is huge problem with decentralized exchanges, let's see if 2018 changes that. CryptoBridge still a new project and largely unknown. It isnt really a problem actually. Just set your miner to mine btc since it makes more now. And u use your mined btc to buy LCC now. U will end up with more LCC simply because u earn more mining btc than mining LCC. Using the higher amount of money u earn by mining btc, u can acquire more LCC. I am under the assumption that u wish to stock up on some more LCC. sell BTC to buy LCC!? i'll crack the jokes Dude, it is actually simple. U mine LCC now, u get about 6-7 bucks revenue per machine per day. In other words, u get 6-7 dollars of LCC. U mine btc now, u get about 12 bucks revenue per machine per day. In other words, u get 12 dollars of btc. So, just mine btc, and use that 12 bucks to buy LCC rather than mine 6 bucks of LCC. U get more LCC that way rather than if u use your machine to mine LCC. I assume u wanna collect some LCC for future speculation. The gap now is rather wide. I don't think i'll be following this particular financial advice, but thanks anyway.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / HELP REQUIRED - mining software for DAG coin [XDAG]
|
on: February 26, 2018, 01:37:51 PM
|
Hi, so, the story has evolved and we have our first mineable DAG coin. see [ANN] thread here... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2552368.0The coin has zero premine, no ICO and is open source for the community to update. However... the mining software has bugs and is not working correctly for everyone. see GIThub here: https://github.com/XDagger/xdagmost miners are using windows and having no problems with it, but I have tested the miner on Linux OS and no matter where I mine.. the terminal shows correctly, but every pool only offers ~10% of hashrate and rewards. I believe this coin follows the correct principles and ethic of a decentralised currency, and we need some good developers to go over the code, and build a stable miner without bugs! please, if anyone can help... I am also looking for someone who can help me build a local pool , so that I can solo mine XDAG. But more importantly, is the miner software. thanks in advance.
