Also, with the current algorithm is ASIC mining possibly already being used?
Yes, ASICs are possible, but currently there are no compatible devices.

it's a shitfest mate. I received thousands for doing fuck all in the discord and they hand them out like bon-bons
Just turn left, please.

Nice to see i'm still highly regarded in the discord channel:

 Cheesy
isn't it about time your followers get on with their own lives and stop being concerned with me or what i'm mining?
I'm still mining xdag, so i consider myself still a part of this open-source project, even if the hierarchy of the 'community' have paranoia issues about losing control.
I can assure Mr Merkin, i have no desires to form my own xdag community - you should advise him that crypto doesn't actually work like that

I absolutely do not understand anything. Participants of the bounty are waiting for their reward for a long several months. For what reason they were not paid ? HDAC is a serious project and I did not expect it to happen that way.

Personally im not too bothered, as HDAC is not trading on exchanges anyway - Im sure the team will distribute to bounty participants first, before doing any exchange listings.

trading here.

and mining here:

http://dac.signal2noi.se

Just to clarify that is an unofficial listing which the team did not engage. They have said when there is an official exchange they will announce it on their telegram.
https://t.me/Hdac_TGE

it's an official [s2n] pool and public for anyone to mine this open source project.
is the likes of Slush or Nanopool 'unofficial' pools for other coins?

I don't quite understand your logic in perpetually remarking that most community efforts of this coin are 'unofficial'
perhaps you would like to elaborate and explain the term 'official' when pertaining to DAC? Because it seems that a lot of miners are getting confused about all of this.
You make a project open-source, but only want official channels to support it?

I think the marketing team have some questions to answer here?

thanks.

Hey rgsnedds

As you said, Hdac is an open source project, anyone can mine the DAC tokens.
The message above was referring to the listing of DAC on exchanges.
In that case, as it was clarified - Hdac didn't list their coin officially yet.
Means that the company didn't ask BiBox/Bitonbay or any other exchange that did so until now, to list DAC there.
When Hdac will be listed officially on an exchange - it will be announced.

But even then, listing on an exchange is at the discretion of the exchange.
Therefore an 'official' exchange listing simply means "we've paid an exchange to have our coin on it"

If i were the developers, i'd be pretty pleased that an exchange wanted to carry the coin and stop the wishy-washy statements about 'not being officially invovled'

If the developers didn't want the coin to be open-source.. then why release it as an open source project.
Clearly there is not a great experience in crypto here.I've been involved since 2009 and to be quite honest, eithere the developers, or the marketing team have make huge mistakes here.

The ICO was sensible at 14% and the investment was huge. Huge enough to afford a prime-time television advert.
The initiative is great, the product looks fabulous and it looks like it could be a market leader.

here's my concern:

it's time the marketing team and the developers started looking after the miners of the blockchain and stop with the 'that's not official' statements, because at the end of the day, the blockchain does not exist without miners keeping it running.

And for christ sake... fix that diff retargeting, it's a shambles.

One thing I'm kind of unsure and wary about is that the community fund is controlled by a small handful of people that dictate what happens with hundreds of thousands of DAG.  I realize that some of them were there from the start of things but how are decisions going to be made with the future of DAG and how much of a cut are they taking?  Is there transparency around this?

it's a shitfest mate. I received thousands for doing fuck all in the discord and they hand them out like bon-bons

Also, with the current algorithm is ASIC mining possibly already being used?

i very much doubt anyone would bother their arse to design an ASIC miner for xdag - it's a pump and dump shitcoin.

and i think you need more promotion for your project.

About promotion, as we have for now not a lot of people working on core code, and still a lot of thing to fix, promotion is not our biggest preoccupation.
We would do this when we have a full understanding of the network leaved by original dev. (We actually work on this part, a old friends just started to have a look in it....)

We will come in a few moment with a communication about our need in developers.

Please for any information, follow our social network linked in main post.

With all the rumors of new miners coming out soon buying bulk s9 ballzy move.

Isn't it just? I guess they feel the need to start generating some income, any income....that ROI needs paying, but they ain't going to do it with S9's.
They are immediately available and cheap tho, so maybe the cave will be humming by say early July? (Obv. no June profit= no June payment?)
On current difficulty and price, I estimate 30 days mining with 500 X 'averaged out S9's' will return something in the region of $60k gross.

That breaks down as

50% return to investors of $30k
20% retained for reinvesting  $12k
20% expenses $12k
10% IR keep $6k

Three questions:
What's the ROI on all the tokens sharing $30k return between them? "400% annualized?" Na.....

When do they reinvest the $12k what do they buy, when does it come online and start earning?

At $0.03 per kWh, in 30 days 500 S9's will use about $17,000 of electricity. How does that $17k come out of $12,000 allowed for all expenses, including electricity, staff, security etc.?

it will not work. the whole project is bad and the investors will get little or no money. and the bounty people still have not got tokens. I hope it's not big scam

i'm waiting for them to say 'oh shit, we sent all our money to s11 scammers'

it looks as though the majority of that Nethash is private investor pools...
when asked in the telegram support channel for the coin, Amazix (well-known shitcoin PR company) restrict you mentioning mining of the coin.

So... shall we just decentralize this shitcoin and stop those big investors from mining it all themselves?

mate, i was in the telegram chat for no more than 5 mins before they restricted me from posting there.

all i did was ask about mining HDAC at http://dac.signal2noi.se.

You will only ever get banned if you were not following the community rules, never for asking a simple question. I suggest you reach out to one of the admins on-duty to investigate what happened, it could have been the auto-moderation bot that auto-banned you for sharing an image or suspicious link.

No, they are restricting public mining and removing users who ask about public pools.

.. and the price. surely to have sold at 0.50$ per coin in the ICO, they must have a reserve to ensure that price is realised again?

in the meantime, i'm mining it... pure speculation at the moment but if this blockchain can offer all that Hyundai think it can, it's going to be the next 1000x crypto.

I think it's very impressing ,interesting project.Hope this reaches its goals!

it already did. ATH was around 0.45$

now at 0.09$ and not looking like rising anytime soon.

The community were too keen to let in chinese big-business and they simply turned it into yet another pump and dump coin.

are the stats (20% Reward for Block Finder, 10% Reward for Direct Contribution to Found block!) of your pool valid ?
Just pointed 4 old gpus there to see how it goes.

yes.

i have my AMD cards on XDAG and my Nvidia on HDAC

I also want to say this:

it would seem the developers have done some good work of late, i have noticed tx times of xdag to be much quicker today, so well done to evgeniy and frozen, maybe this coin will eventually be fixed.

 Grin

hehe nice ! pointed 3 amd, 1 nvidia. lets find some blocks  Grin

blocks are quite regular... however it is still a small pool, so not overly-frequent. When blocks are found, it's decent rewards and every single card on the pool has a chance of getting that block finder reward.. i've even had one, with a single rx570... so stick in there!

Be carefull joining amazix bounty, they cheating participant, change the rules, disqualified without any reason, many of their project not paying bounty participant, looks like they eating bounty money

my posts on the main [ANN] thread regarding our public HDAC pool have all been removed.
There is 10TH/s of private investment pools mining this, and they don't want anyone else mining it.

Offcourse they remove, only amazix team can mining it, cheater and scammer amazix, also cheating bounty

as price reduces, so does network hash. currently around 7TH/s and looks like all private pools.
we set up a pool and pointed 2TH/s at it, still no blocks found...

yes, there is something seriously off about HDAC. Perhaps the developers simply used the wrong marketing company, it does certainly look like it's been completely centralized by someone.

centralized like many other projects. what a shame

HDAC is throwing some money at it to get some publicity! For the moment this project looks interesting and has a solid team but only futur can tell if this project will be a success.

it seems to me that the actual coin is irrelevant to them. the blockchain is the tech they need but the cryptocurrency is just a by-product of the overall blockchain requirement. The only reason they wanted a coin i the first place was to raise ICO money and this is going to be the failure in the product unless the company developing it start to support miners..
