CPU usage note: If you run TRK daemon and don't stake you can put 'staking=0' line to Truckcoin.conf
It will disable staking engine and reduce CPU usage.

The only way to get TRK is to buy at exchanges.
It was distributed via PoW at the initial release

Tekcoin (480%) and HyperSrake (750%) are doing pretty well so in crypto world 200% per year is not too high at all

It's just like mining but you don't need to buy hardware and waste electricity.
