Mourinho has got sacked and Daniele De Rossi has been brought to Roma coach position. But the odds for Roma to win the Europa League title are still the same - 17.00. 

To tell the truth I think it is even more logical now to give Roma a chance for the title by placing a bet on them. Because if De Rossi manages to develop a solid strategy for Roma things can get much better for this team in a short time. Not only here but also in the Serie A. Maybe Roma would make use of more transfers to be better in squad quality as well but they don't have a very big transfer budget as far as I know.

But I think that the current squad is still good enough to be a serious competitor for the title.

Contrarily I think it will be rather illogical to think that Roma will win and even place a bet on them to win when we know too well that they just had a change of coach and they have still got some injured players who are yet to recover and return back to the team, it's going to take the new coach  some time to get all This fixed.

It may happen that before the coach will be able to get all this fixed, there maybe not enough time for them to be able to get  to win the Europa that's if they even make it pass the quarter finals, the players will have to start getting used to the new tactical approach that will be introduced to them by de Rossi, and that's definitely going to take some good time for them to fix,  some of this players who were more used to Mourinho will definitely have some challenges getting used to de Rossi so it's obvious the odds are against them in many forms so they will most likely not win the Europa.

In my opinion, this is quite risks because Roma performance this season is not very stable, especially since a change of coach will certainly have a different impact, whether it's better or worse, De Rossi doesn't have as much experienced as Jose Mourinho and I doubt he can improve Roma current condition. This is especially true in the European league which has quite tough competitors such as Leverkusen and Liverpool so it seems impossible for Roma with a coach who has minimal experience to be able to do better and this season Roma does not have a long time to train so De Rossi has to adapt quickly.

Even though Roma still has a chance to qualify for the round of 16, I doubt that Roma can reach the quarter-finals or semi-finals. Jose Mourinho, who has a lot of experience in the European league, has difficulty building Roma performance, let alone the current coach, but yes, the strategy that the coach has different and I hope Roma will not regret their decision to fire Jose Mourinho.

The club is not even giving permission for the coach to spend money to buy the good players. It is a rare occurrence to come across a world-class coach who would be willing to undertake the same actions as Mourinho did. Roma gave him very limited budget and this is the main problem.
The management put a very high expectation without even willing to spend some money to help him to rebuild the club. Roma is once again making another mistake by kick him out.
I strongly disagree with it but this is what the management wanted and they have sacked him. There will be no chance for roma to take him again.

Roma really made a poor decision on axing Jose; because I don’t think he was in any case the problem of the team. Well for a coach to attain success he needs to make crucial signings and probably this was what he lacked. I think this will be a bad experience for Rome. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think they can go any further. They may even be eliminated in this round. Daniele de Rossi is one of the legendary players of the team, but team management and football are not the same. I think this is a bad decision taken by As Roma. This will not produce results either in Serie A or in the European leagues after sacking Mourinho and replacing De Rossi. The logic is that when you are on your third season for a club, you should be able to at least fight for a European competition place. Last year, when they were going for that Europa finals, we knew that they weren't even placed at that spot at the league, and only got there because they won the conference league, it is just too bad for him to be not a good league coach but a great manager for the cups.

I think it should be important to notice that Mourinho is still not a bad manager, he is just not what Roma needs right now, Roma used him for what they needed him for, and now that it's done, they are going to look for a manager that would be good for the league, and an Italian that knows the situation fits the description better.

He has done it. Roma being placed at the bottom at the early of season but mourinho has been helping the club to climb up again. It was also qualified for the play off stage of europa league as well. The reason to sack him is out of my mind. Roma did somerhing wrong and they were not aware about that. Mourinho was the best coach that can be recruited by roma ever i seen. This is the first time I have witnessed such success with Roma, surpassing any previous experiences with other coaches. Roma is roma and it has a very stupid owner. That's my reason to reject him as a new coach but roma took him. Many fans were also feeling so bad with the decision from the club to sack mourinho out from club. I prefer to see him stay much longer.

Some coaches even need three/four years actually have good achievements with their team. But the authority of Roma definitely seems to not like the idea. Probably they have thought about the third year of Jose being with Roma. But whatever it is, at the moment it seems like a bad decision. I think there is no need to wait until the end of the season to prove De Rossi's failure with AS Roma because yes, at this moment many people doubt De Rossi's quality because De Rossi does not have good experience. Moreover, AS Roma's situation at this moment is not completely good and therefore, it will be very difficult for De Rossi to recover AS Roma. It seems, AS Roma has big dreams by firing Mourinho and replacing Mourinho with De Rossi and maybe, AS Roma is hoping for a miracle.
