In my opinion, there are two side of "sportsbooks are vpn friendly" coin. They are friendly until you bring money and gamble. But as soon as you win big amount, they will instantly becomes unfriendly and will poke user with ToS, and wag a finger saying player violated something. I would say that being vpn friendly are casinos insurance from loosing big amounts. Some might disagree with me. But I will ask a proof then, where VPN user won a lot and casinos let him withdraw it.
Casinos have to protect their own interests as well. Lots of people tend to view them in a negative light but if they were to process all large winnings without screening them, they might give way to more fraud if they're not careful. |

People should never give investment advice to friends, if they are not financial advisors.... and definitely never have to convince people to buy bitcoins. I made this mistake once.. and the guy pulled out early, because he panicked when the price dropped with 30% and he lost money.  You should rather tell them about your experience with Bitcoin and then wait for them to approach you for help to buy bitcoins. Let them make the choice... DO NOT force them into something that might spoil your friendship, IF it does not succeed. It's mostly the introducer getting blamed when things go South but when everything is going swell, no credit given when due. Seen so many stories like this on Reddit. |

If they didn't require the campaign participants to play on the 1xbit casino then they are not playing on their own casino. I noticed exact same page on few different websites that also use cloudflare service, so I can confirm that bitcointalk forum is still using cloudflare and that can be confirmed with their certificate.
It would be great if there was better alternative for cloudflare but I don't think something like this exist or at least it's not as effective as cloudflare for DDOS attacks.
If I was in charge of bitcointalk I would also remove google search and replace it with some better alternative that respect privacy.
Cloudflare does its job pretty well. Not to mention their CDN coverage is pretty wide. If you're a website owner, it offers analytics and security, decent enough on their Free plan. |
