1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I stop looking at Bitcoin Price on: April 09, 2018, 07:04:40 PM
I just stop looking at bitcoin price. It hurts me actually, that's why I took this decision. I am holding few of BTC and I will not look at my wallets too for 2 months. I hope after 2 months when I will go to see bitcoin price, maybe I will scream happily. What about you guys?  Grin
That is completely fine and natural sometimes it can get quite frustrating to see the market in red, I guess it all depends on your stand with your coins if you're a HODLER or an active trader. Even HODLING can be classified into short and long-term so 2 Months doesn't sound like such a bad idea. Best of luck to you, I'd also like to mention maybe you would consider checking once a week only if you would be interested in buying more BTC.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Listening To False News... on: April 09, 2018, 06:53:42 PM
I agree with OP, all this news in attempts to manipulate the market. And for some reason the sources still maintain their credibility after getting debunked multiple times. As for listening to the news in general while trading I'd consider the phrase "Buy the rumor and Sell the news". I also feel like fake news sites should be punished as for the sharing of false news then that is where it gets a bit tricky as how would the user know they are sharing fake news.
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at 2600$, is it possible !!!! on: April 09, 2018, 09:29:20 AM
what we'v seen in the first 3 month of 2018 are huge different from what we'v been expected to see in 2018
so with the last huge movement of bitcoin price what do you think ,
is it possible to see 2600$ again ??
Considering there is really good resistance at around 7000ish, I think  5/4k is possible within 2018 however I think there will be even more resistance at 5k. As for dropping all the way to 2600 I feel like thats quite unlikely especially with decent upgrades being developed such as Lightning network that are predicted to increase the price of bitcoin as they solve common problems regarding crypto. Moreover, in the end of the day anything is "possible" in the world of crypto so It could theoretically reach a 1$ again.
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to $50K in 2018?! on: April 09, 2018, 09:23:17 AM
What do you think guys? check out this video and let me know about your opinion
Video link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_HccyO-5YkE
Hmm with the current price during the past few months I think It's unlikely however bitcoin is unpredictable and I'd love to be proven wrong. As for reaching a new all time high by the end of the year I can completely see that happening. As for a more reasonable guess I'd say maybe around 30k. Because once it hits around 20k again there will be many price corrections moving forward.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 88% of Japanese have heard of bitcoin -- how about your country? -- on: March 26, 2018, 07:47:31 PM
I'd be curious if Bitcoin Forum members can chime in on what the estimated awareness might be for their region or country:

  https://news.bitcoin.com/survey-japanese-bitcoin/

a quote:
"A recent survey of 10,000 men and women across Japan shows that 88% of them have heard of bitcoin. Among those that have bitcoin, 47% said that they have used it in retail stores but long-term investment is most respondents’ main reason for purchasing bitcoin."

Your post was written in 2017, I wonder if the number is around 90% Shocked , as for the country I'm currently staying in I definitely noticed more and more people showing interest in bitcoin in the past few months. I'm certain by the end of this year even more people will get into the field of crypto as the blockchain technology is quite remarkable!
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the price be stable? on: March 26, 2018, 07:13:38 PM
I remembered watching a video about bitcoins and the simple information that a beginner can understand. It says that bitcoin only has the maximum of 21 million bitcoins and 17 or 18 million has been mined.

What would happen if the very last block were mined? Will the value of bitcoin finally be stabilized?
Even if the supply runs out the price will still be based on the demand. As for bitcoin ever hitting a "stable" price and maintaining that price for a long period of time. Short answer would be unlikely but not impossible as long as the supply and demand keep increasing within the same rates also there are always going to be HODLERs and Day - traders so I don't think the price will ever remain "stable" It might fluctuate within a certain range for months. But having a fixed value nope.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you support to open bitcoin or crypto in college level? on: March 26, 2018, 07:03:33 PM
Would you support to open bitcoin or crypto in college level,so people can go to learn exactly what they need to learn about bitcoin.
A class to explain blockchain technology sounds like a great idea, as for a class having the sole purpose of talking about bitcoin I'm not entirely sure about that however if it talked about different types of cryptocurrency and their roles that would be interesting. Lastly maybe even having bitcoin as a small lesson in certain subjects would be a great step. If not students could always make their own clubs in college maybe a crypto club I'm sure many of these exist.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Possible Way to Re-Use Lost Bitcoins on: March 26, 2018, 08:13:43 AM
I have heard a thousand times that many bitcoins are lost due to the owners either forget their private keys, lost the hard drive, or simply die before they tell their family about the wealth. Although 21 million sounds like a lot, but with accidents like those keep happening, it's sooner or later bitcoin will gradually...be depleted. I know now the reward for miners are new issued bitcoins plus transaction fees, could it be possible that some day the reward includes a new feature, that all wallets will give a small portion of its balance to the miners, either a small percentage of the balance, or just a few Satoshis per wallet. So that "dead" bitcoins will slowly become global wealth for all humans again over a great span of time? What do you think? Is it a very stupid idea?
I'm guessing what you're suggesting is that wallets that aren't being used for a certain amount of months/years get categorized as 'lost'. And then their btc gets sent off? /No-Support. Maybe the person is a long-term holder/ Maybe the person does have access to their wallet but completely forgot about it. Also for this to even be considered it would require a hard-fork and we all know how those end up. Hi Roger
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fall from nearly $19,000 :( on: March 19, 2018, 06:40:41 PM
Somewhere within last year, Bitcoin could rise as high up to almost $19,000 and this massive rise stirred up the interest and enthusiasm of investors. Few weeks later, Bitcoin began to experience gradual drop in price and now struggling to regain the position of the almost $19,000.
The question is: What is causing the drop in BTC? is Bitcoin ever going to regain that position and even beyond again? and if yes, when?(prediction)
I mean when the price went from 10k to 19k it was pretty fast so a price correction had to happen. Also a lot of people cashed out at the end of the year and another issue was the snowball effect of sellers lets say it was 19k, next day 17k a lot of users panic and sell causing it to go even lower. As for will it ever reach back to 19k? No one knows but since Bitcoin is gaining more and more attention by the day, and blockchain technology is gaining a lot of popularity then Idk I feel like a new all time high can be reached this year!
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's future. on: March 19, 2018, 04:08:33 PM
Hello crypto investor that is going to or already invested in crypto. By this post i want remove all the doubts in your head keeping you from investing more or at all. As you all know bitcoin just crashed. (in my opinion you cant even call that crash, but anyways). So i'm going to give you some opinions of mine that might help you:
Oh by the way, since bitcoin just got little bit down and is going up pretty hard, i think it's the perfect time to get into investing Wink

You make some pretty good points, I'd also like to add that one of the reasons of the decline is the transaction fee cost and what not, If bitcoin's fees weren't so high, steam wouldn't have removed bitcoin as a payment option. However on "This being a good time to invest" Yes, absolutely especially with the Lightning Network being developed that aims to reduce transaction costs giving more benefits to using bitcoin as a payment method, thus increasing the price of Bitcoin!
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Homeless use Bitcoin on: March 19, 2018, 04:04:39 PM
Guys what do you think about Homeless people who use cryptocurrency on the street is that an evolution or something else ?

https://image.ibb.co/nnubQ7/12.jpg

Its nice to see that, indeed anything does help. I guess they could use the received donations to buy food/clothes from certain shops that accept bitcoin. Or HODL and to an extent its somewhat advertising bitcoin. Imagine random pedestrians passing by reading the sign.. and asking themselves "What is Bitcoin
?" this might aswell introduce new faces into the world of crypto! : )
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest now - should or not? on: March 19, 2018, 03:39:53 PM
"Better late than never, never late is better " ~Drake.
I think investing now is a good idea. Today on March 19th Bitcoin is at 8.5k I feel like its inevitably going to bounce .. back to 10k at least and yeah might even reach a new all time high this year in 2018.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: teach your children about bitcoin on: March 12, 2018, 06:50:01 PM
hello guys , i just want to share what am i doing right now to my children, i have a 10 year old kid , he is david . this coming summer i want to teach him about cryptocurrency. especially bitcoin, from his young age i want to share him my knowledge about this kind of things. im happy that he is excited a little bit however it's so hard to explain but then i use some examples like video games as a reference about bitcoin. probably it might be the easiet way to understand how this things works. for example bitcoin is like a video games, you need to do a lot of research about bitcoin to know it and ask some people what  they know about bitcoin or  like experiences  , like games you need to do a lot of practice to mastered the games , can someone help me about this ?
Indeed, while explaining it to children you wouldn't want to use difficult terms and use a simple example without going too in-depth. Also maybe create a wallet for them and show them how you do it. And then send them small amounts of well-known cryptocurrencys like Eth,Btc,Ltc,Doge..etc you can send it to them after they do their homework or chores. Cheesy
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Cash will never dissapear, not even the Bitcoin freaks believe that" Mark Cuban on: March 12, 2018, 06:04:41 PM
Let's prove him wrong.  Wink -- See idea below.  Roll Eyes

In Season 9 episode 23, an entrepreneur pitched a business, "CoinOUT" to the Sharks. {  https://www.coinout.com/ } which

basically turns your small change in coupons or back into cash. The Sharks debated and Mark Cuban commented, that cash

will never disappear and that not even the Bitcoin Freaks, believed that. Guess what Mark, we do believe that...right?

I guess it depends on the people/community. For example there are countries that literally hate cash due to fake money being a huge problem and prefer digital payments to the point that a lot of the merchants refuse trading in cash. As for cash disappearing completely It's possible the thing is money/cash has existed for thousands of years and it won't be easy to convince an entire population to change. Moreover, for there to be an alternative "online" payment wouldn't it require internet or a network of its own? So I guess on the large scale of things it's possible but hard to predict of certain. Do I see a country eliminating cash in the next 10-30 years? Absolutely!
15  Economy / Speculation / Re: it's a right time to buy bitcoin or not??? on: March 12, 2018, 05:55:57 PM
It's always the right time to buy bitcoin Smiley. At the time of writing this post bitcoin is at around 9k. It's enviable to go back to 10k. As for the release of lightning network that fill fix the high fees issue of bitcoin, It's predicted to rise. A new all time high rise? Maybe.. Although if you wrote this post considering to buy/invest in bitcoin I'd recommend investing what you are willing to lose as bitcoin can get extremely unpredictable!
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is this true that GOOGLE will ban the ICO and crypto related ads? on: March 12, 2018, 12:22:33 PM
Not sure on the authenticity of the article. But I don't think there will be a ban on crypto-related ads google has nothing to gain from that. At the same time regarding ICO ads I would understand there being some talk about it as google might feel responsible for promoting scam ICOs and might be adding extra filters into what ADs are considered ok. As for an whole ban on crypto content. I don't think thats going to happen, correct me if I'm wrong.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin too complicated for ordinary folks? on: March 12, 2018, 10:50:53 AM
Not really, bitcoin is quite simple instead of a third party being a middle man, bitcoin removes the middle man and acts as a peer-to-peer payment system. For a better explanation I'd recommend watching https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4g1XFU8Gto
Bitcoin is like a ledger. Bitcoin is very secure too. I think it wouldn't be too complicated to explain as long as the person you're explaining to is willing to understand it. And I usually prefer visual explanations such as videos/images.
18  Economy / Exchanges / Re: YOBIT SCAM ! on: March 05, 2018, 11:25:56 AM
3 days always proccesing ? are you kidding me ?! beware for all trading on yobit . my UCASH always proccesing in 3days ! not confirmed ticked support ! not answer support ticket ! twitter not answer !  BEWARE SCAM ALLERT
I'd recommend submitting a support ticket at https://yobit.net/en/support/ if you haven't already. If you have there is no need to create a new ticket for the same issue as this would cause them more time to reply, also sometimes the processing can take a while due to high traffic on the blockchain. I'd give it another couple of days. Hope your issue gets resolved ASAP ^^
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ~BTC in Medical Industry on: March 05, 2018, 11:20:38 AM
Is it possible someday that Medical Hospitals accept BTC as a payment for Hospital bills and other fees??
Anything is possible, I think the issue with hospitals accepting BTC is that they would rather not take the risk of bitcoins price plummeting, now a good alternative to this is to have a system in place that would automatically transfer the bitcoin to FIAT once the transaction is complete. Another problem would be the high fees of bitcoin. Additionally It's nice to see as "mjglqw" mentioned, that a hospital is currently accepting bitcoin and would be great to see more hospitals follow this path.
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: 9.2K remains the effective support, will BTC break below it in the short term? on: February 26, 2018, 07:06:22 PM
Just like the price of bitcoin can go down to over 10%+ in a few days, It can also go up by the same amount in both cases there is this Snowball effect and some exchanges utilize a stop-limit so some traders might buy in at 10000+ since they know it would continue rising, the price of bitcoin at the time of writing this post is at around 10200 so regarding the OP I think 10000 seems like a reasonable support, especially if it ends up hitting 11k tomorrow this would slightly ensure it wouldn't go below 10k I mean it most certainly could.. in the end of the day bitcoin is unpredictable so HODLing sounds good  Smiley
