1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is bitcoin legal??? on: May 11, 2018, 04:07:16 PM
Bitcoin is of interest to law enforcement agencies, tax authorities, and legal regulators, all of which are trying to understand how the cryptocurrency fits into existing frameworks. The legality of your bitcoin activities will depend on who you are, where you live, and what you are doing with it.

Yes because it has been linked to illegal transactions and more that that it bypasses so many means of government to gain money. The crypo posts a great threat to existing system of trade and the rules regulating these system that's why in SOME countries it is illegal. However, at the same time crypto may also be a great profit generator since it pumps values from around the world.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You have 1m dollars.. on: May 11, 2018, 03:46:10 PM
Where and how would you invest 1m dollars? What coins will you buy? Or will Huh you just put them in Bank? Huh Wink

I guess putting 1m USD in the bank is a bit dangerous i don't know how it works but it might be a suspicious money. For me, i'll have some cash and retain most of my money circulating in crypto. I'd  buy CLC right now, or minex since i've heard great profit from these two coins.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018's Top 5 Alt Coins? on: May 11, 2018, 03:36:43 PM
In your opinion, What will be the top 5 alt coins to shine in 2018?

I guess if we are talking about the top 5, I think it will be ETH, NEO, EOS, LTC, and maybe MONEro. I think these five will still emerge as the top altcoins in the market given the value that these have already established plus these are well talked about coins right now.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My BIGGEST cryptocurrency mistake on: May 11, 2018, 03:08:24 PM
December 2017 during the high of highs, I made a huge mistake, I allowed greed and fomo, ignored my gut and bought into NXT because I was chasing Ignis airdrop. The coin has since tanked and I still have not received the airdrop. Nxt is probably 80/90 down.

What is your biggest cryptocurrency mistake???

I think my biggest crypto mistake is starting late. When i started which is last year, the rules here are so participant friendly i mean it's so easy to rank up right now i need approval from high level people against i dont know how many users in the same rank. If only i've started early i'll be i a higher rank and get more stakes in campaigns.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a good time to buy Eth? on: May 11, 2018, 02:38:02 PM
Newbie here... I've been thinking about buying my first crypto. I think I want to buy ETH, but wondering if I missed the boat already?

Primarily I'm choosing ETH because I think there are less foreseeable limitations than BTC, and it seems like ETH is basically accepted everywhere BTC is. Plus its cheaper  Grin

Is now a good time to buy it? Should I wait?

Actually as of the moment, you coud buy \ETh right now and hold for some time for you to get really good profit. The market is red now, so it's a good opportunity to buy if yout just joined the market. There are some speculations that it'll reach 2.5kUSD.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano on: May 11, 2018, 02:05:29 PM
What are your opinions on Cardano? Looks like a promising coin. Do you think it will ever hit a good couple of dollars in the future?

Actually I'm also looking forward for the progres of cardano and i've  been wondering how come it's in the top ten when it's price isn't that much that goes to show that it has a avery big potential as a coin but i wouldn't sat that you could put big investments in it because there are more profitable coins right now like CLC for example.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you truly believe in cryptocurrency on: May 11, 2018, 01:52:15 PM
Seems like most people just want to become super rich in a short period of time.
If you don't believe in this new technology, and just want to earn quick money, I think you will probably not achieve what you want.
All I want to say is be patient, live your life, and don't get too emotional by all the negative news/FUD. Yes, crypto might be ended in a really bad way and you lose most/all your money. But if you truly believe in the new technology, just invest the projects you like the most and hold until it gets mature and returns.

I believe in crypto currency not just because of the profit that we could get from it but also how it could revolutionize the market in our generation. Given that, one proof of its efficiency is the fact that we are all given the opportunity to invest and participate in trading throught the coins  made available for us through this community.

9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the digital dollar on: March 03, 2018, 04:00:43 AM
A digital currency cant be ever compared to a fiat. Fiats especially dollars are real assets while btcs are virtual

Bitcoin is already an accepted asset to which many businesses invest to. You can even convert your crypto into conventional currency. So what are you saying?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tokens from Campaigns on: February 27, 2018, 03:30:28 PM
How long does it usually take for a campaign to actually distribute the tokens of the participants?

Depends on the campaign. Most commonly, after the end of the ICO.
Why don't you ask in your campaign's official communication channels or in the official thread?

Thanks Sir, i will do that. I'm thinking of the average waiting time.  I heard that there are some campaigns that don't distribute tokens properly.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Earnings on: February 27, 2018, 03:27:33 PM
Hi guys.

Out of curiosity, what are you earning with bounty campaigns?
I think I'm somewhere near 1K USD/month, but I guess there have to be people here who are earning lots more.

Kind regards

EDIT:

As many people do not believe these profits, I will explain how I make them.

I focus on the translation campaigns (dutch). A translation pays +- 3 ETH on average. I have only started (only 1 translation has been paid, I received +-2 ETH), but as I can make up to 3 translations/month (currently working on 2 more), this would get me 9 ETH/month.  As not every project is succesful, let's say I will receive 4,5 ETH/month.

Do not focus on signature campaigns or social media campaigns, these are the crumbs (especially for members with lower ranks) while translation campaigns are probably the bread.

I use the Bountyhive platform to manage my bounty participations, this platform makes it possible to be enrolled in 10 campaigns at the same time, without having to report.

Well for our rank i didn't think that we could earn 1k in a month specially that the campaign i joined in just ended and i'm still waiting for the tokens to be distributed. I'm expecting like 400$ from my previous campaign.

13  Other / Meta / Re: +50 Merit abuse report . on: February 20, 2018, 02:15:26 PM
we should not have bad thoughts to others. I think the key here is the quality of their posts. Maybe they really deserve 50 merit because of good post quality.

We are in the position where if we say anything bad about it, it could be taken against us for being  bitter on how hard it is to actually get one merit while a single posts accumulated 0 merits and if we keep quiet it just doesn't feel right.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin is the digital dollar on: February 18, 2018, 05:51:51 PM
I think it's not far if i say that dollar and bitcoin are actually the leaders of their platforms. What's also crazy is how this forum served as the source of consumers and a big factor in increasing the acceptability of bitcoin by people. Really the  design and everything about this  community is genius.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your plan? on: February 17, 2018, 05:48:04 PM
By plan i mean when do you plan to cash out. Is it when you have made enough to buy a car, a house maybe? or are you setting your sights higher?

Personally i'd just like to own my own home, after that i would just play with spare change.
I plan to continue on making the coins i have flow in the market and ofcourse cash out whenever i need. It's not like i totally rely on this for my living but being able to participate here and profit from what we do is actually a lot of bonus for me. I even get to learn so many things from this community.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ripple rise again? on: February 17, 2018, 05:45:49 PM
I hope all of us remember the sudden surge in the value of Ripple in December then again it throttled down but if you notice the chart from few days again ripple is gradually gaining value so do you all think it will go through one more similar pump which occurred in December ?
Let me get this straight, I don't think that ripple will be a very good investment this year or in the coming years since it has already been an abandoned coin. It is not a good investment, though it is third in the market it's not a good coin to support right now specially without a team to maintain it.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying NEO on: February 17, 2018, 05:31:35 PM
Do you think is a good time for buying some NEO now? Whit many Ico coming could be the last chance before the price is going to increase much.
I think it is quiet late for you to buy NEo since there as already been a pump. Still you could trust your instincts. Since last time, BTC reached double of its price now, so it won't hurt you if you will buy NEO right now and have 2x the profit.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC VS ETH on: February 17, 2018, 05:20:45 PM
friends to invest right now in btc or eth?

In any, it'll certainly be profitable. Any of these cryptos are good investments. You could go for BTC and wait for the pump. Let me use what happened early this year as an example, since BTC dropped to 8k$ and now it's at 10k$. This could even reach 20k$ after the pump. So BTc or even ETH is a good investment for long term.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: altcoins for 2-3 years holding! on: February 17, 2018, 05:17:34 PM
Hey guys, I wanna hold some alts for 2-3 years. Can you advise me some? I am thinking about Bitquance, XVG, OMG, NEO....anything else?

These are good choices, but actually i thin a year or so is enough and holding for three years will be very risky. i say long term holding cold be as good as 1-2 years since you also want to get profit in the duration and you'll be able to get significant profit over a year. You need to remember coins drop easy here.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will Altcoins Survive on: February 17, 2018, 05:13:49 PM
Will Altcoins survive as bitcoin is going higher and higher and the demand is getting increasing every day, what will happens to altcoins

what's happening is actually normal. You could refer to the convetional currencies as an example for you to understand that this is normal and not an indication of survival of these alt coins except if the drop is really drastic. ALTCOINS will survive. Cheesy
