i lose my 0.1 btc Cry

Same I lost some btc, this site is such a scam. I would advise others to avoid like the plague and use a more reputable site.

You can verify the result of your bets on http://luckyb.it/browse, and the "Secret" will be published on the next day of your bets.
163  Economy / Services / Re: Cloudbet Signature Campaign – up to 0.12 BTC per month for 50 posts on: July 29, 2014, 06:17:19 PM
one question. When is payment day?

According to the OP, the next payment day would be Aug 16 (up to 48 hours delay for payment). Smiley
The first monthly payment period will end on 16 July, and subsequently on the 16th of every month. You must be enrolled a full month in order to qualify. Please allow up to 48 hours for payment.
164  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: July 29, 2014, 06:13:57 PM
How much activity to become a member?

60.
It will take about two months from your registration date.

It's 50 activity and 50 posts tbh

No it isn't.

0 Activity: Newbie
30 Activity: Jr. Member
60 Activity: Member
120 Activity: Full Member
240 Activity: Sr. Member
480 Activity: Hero Member

They should make upgrade in you account rank going by multiples of 14 activity, or update activity every 15 days.

Kind of sucks being caped at 56 activity in Junior status, or  as full member with 238. This makes the real time to get until a given status around 14 days longer.

If then, the activity required may probably just be increased to 70 and 252 (multiples of 14). Smiley

For your information, theymos did increase the activity requirements from time to time.

When the activity system was first set up, you just need 200 and 400 activity to be a Sr. Member and a Hero Member

So I just started reading about bitcoins, I went ahead and created a wallet at coinbase.  I am trying to earn some coins now!

I read a few of the things on the forums and it seems like I should stay away from faucets?(they just give you tiny amounts of coin correct?)  Any reason I should avoid them?

Welcome.
It is very inefficient to earn bitcoin with faucets.
You will likely be able to get just a few thousand satoshi every hour, which worth just a few cents.

How do I go about getting my first coin?  How long should it take me (Roughly?)  I don't plan on purchasing them right now due to my finances...

It really depends.
You could earn bitcoin by selling products, selling services (eg. writing articles and programming), joining a signature campaign (ie. getting paid for putting an ad in your signature space while making posts), etc.

what is the best faucet bitcoin for now ?

The best faucet IMO is the freebitco.in. You can get at least 344 satoshi each hour by just entering a captcha.
Having said that, it is not really an efficient way to earn bitcoin. Joining a sig campaign is way better (and I can see you have already done that). Smiley

Wow, I just got on and saw the site profit was +20. Any idea on how many he lost on PD? An does anyone have pics?
200+

Someone in PRC chat has pictures of the losses. I saw him lose 20 5 times in a row, and another streak of 9 losses where he was down another 100.

This was posted in the PRCDice chat:

Ouch that really makes me sick. I can't even imagine risking 20 btc in one single bet.
I hope he is a really rich guy, and that 200 btc loss is no big deal for him...
169  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there a freelance site that pays out in Bitcoin ? on: July 29, 2014, 05:12:24 PM

It is not just you.
But hey the two sites were suggested in 2011, it is not a surprise to see them going down after almost 3 years lol. Cheesy

You should at least tell us what you are using to pay for the bitcoin.
Bank wire? Perfect Money? Western Union? MoneyPak? Paypal?

Yup, farmerJ, you are right. My bad.

OP, where are you located?
171  Other / Archival / Re: Units of Evil on: July 29, 2014, 05:06:30 PM
Don't worry - Tor wont be evil any more once Mike "Bitcoin Judas" Hearn is done adding blacklists to it.

So no more accounts can be registered with Tor in the future, right?
What about using Tor to log in an existing account?   Huh
Using tor to login to an account doesn't gives you unit of evil. You must create the account with your real actual IP to bypass the fee. The forums would immediately detect your IP as a tor node and force you to pay a fee, this feature already exist.

For real? I was oblivious to mechanic like that? The fee is real? Why someone would like to tax people who want to be anonymous? Maybe you can't ban them if they are using TOR, thats why.

I believe the Evil system is to prevent people registering a new account, spamming with posts and PMs, getting banned, registering another new account, and do it all over again and again.
172  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crossed 500 USD - Bull Market returns ? on: July 29, 2014, 04:15:52 PM
lets hope it hit 2000$

if history is any indication it should go well above the last high of $1200. I'm hoping for 10k by end of year.

10K by the end of the year? 20x in 5 months? You are expecting the 2013 to repeat itself.  Wink

20x in 5 months? We probably need a new "Willy" bot on the exchanges to archive that goal lol. Wink
173  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is kraken.com a scam? on: July 29, 2014, 04:12:40 PM
I registered but never used it, its a pain in the ass to get verified and gave up. FUck them.

The funny thing is that I was a complete verification of identity (Public Account ID AA70 N84G TCTV IANA ). And paid 40 Euros for "Express transfer of funds." Now 2.5 months waiting for him and listen to stupid excuses technical support, that the banking system is running slow.

In the previous page, there was another user "zgums" who has been waiting for 3.5 months and eventually got his money back.
Don't give up, and good luck. Smiley

I'm located in Turkey. There is no way to complain through institutions. I would fly over to Germany if it will get necessary.
Only way to get noticed was through this topic in this forum, which i found after i searched the web for "Kraken scam".

After 1 month total silence from Kraken support, they started answering to me again, right after my initial post here.

So i guess this topic makes a difference. Maybe some repliers that say they had no problems with Kraken are trolls ? Who knows.
I'm sorry if i hurt anybody, because you're not a troll and express your genuine opinion. Since Kraken seemingly reads this post, too.

I wait for their next action to find out more about their true intentions. All their moves so far show, they're not innocent. Fact is that i'm still disconnected from my cash since 3.5 months:
- 1st month was lost until local bank here returned funds (return confirmed on 14th April 2014 by Kraken support).
- The next 2 months are lost while Kraken singing the same song: "waiting for Fidor Bank to refund back to my Kraken account".
- The last 2 weeks are after Kraken disabling my account.
Total 3.5 months passed, since 1st wire transfer leaving Kraken in 25th February 2014.

Finally, I got refunded today. Kraken came up clean and is definitively legit.

Good move, Kraken!

Being a BitcoinMillionaire wouldn't even be possible without bitcoin! Man it has indeed changed my life!

I call bullshit, having PrimeDice in your signature shows that you are broke!
Prove me wrong: show a loaded wallet address, with a signed message to that address.

Keen observation.

Even the minimum wage pay more than any signature campaign.

Even so, it would be silly not to accumulate free mBTC if you would have posted anyway Tongue

Exactly. You will still go to forums and IRC when there is no payment.
So instead of viewing the sig campaign as a job, you should consider it some kind of bonus or by-product lol.

Yup, I know the existing evil system and I know that you need to pay a small fee to register a new account with an evil IP.

But, I haven't heard of the blacklist system justusranvier mentioned, and I would like to know more about it.
Can anyone share some info or maybe a link?

Is there some way of help to get the money back (like it happened with btc-arbs) ?

I believe btc-arbs started to repay people back, because someone has successfully dox him.
You guys could try doing the same and get him. Good luck. Smiley

you know any good doxxers?

I don't know much about doxxing, but I have checked the btc-arbs dox earlier and I think bitsalame has done an incredible work. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=639298.0

And more than 7.5K btc (6.2K by Road2wealth, 1.1K by unit517) are wagered in the past 3 days.

178  Economy / Gambling / Re: EveryDice.com | 0.99% Edge - Instant Cashout - Invest - Referral - Mobile - Fair on: July 29, 2014, 03:31:24 PM
The problem is, since the coins are still in cold storage it makes me wonder if even whoever was in control of them, still actually has control of them... is there a chance that something has genuinely happened to the coin holder?

Or is this probably just a ruse, hoping that we all forget about it in time and don't notice the coins being transferred out?

Even if Everydice's story was true, and the site's bitcoin was in the hand of a "mysterious investor", I don't think you can find him...
Someone suspected that "mysterious investor" was uptweets, who has completely vanished since the incident.

Everyone should read the first page of this thread.  In addition to me warning people that this was a possibility, there is also one user who wanted to invest "a large amount" and then asked ED if he wanted to "sell the site other then take donations" (not sure what this means but may be misworded to sell the site and just take commissions).  This user also has not posted on BCT in ~3 weeks, which seems to be 1-3 days after all of this going down.

Could be a giant coincidence, could be the two of them were in cahoots since the start, could be ED is telling the truth (yet is/has still acted extremely unethically), could be ED is looking for a scapegoat.  Just seems...odd to me.

It makes sense.
Btw, it seems uptweets has put quite some effort and bitcoin in promoting ED, or maybe just trying to get some ref.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=589256.0

I am surprise not so many members came forward to say how much they lost

uptweets hasn't logged in since May 27, it would be interesting to have a comment from him but it would probably be along the lines of "i am not the early investor ED is talking about"

Over a month now since the last post in this thread Sad Ruru has just mentioned however that the coins are still in the cold wallet, no movement at all... is there even the slightest glimmer of hope they could be recovered?

To be honest, nope, unless someone can dox OP and get him in real life, and somehow make him agree to pay the investors and gamblers back.
