At this rate, in the next few minutes.
242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin and exponential growth on: March 21, 2013, 05:01:11 PM
If you connect all the bottom prices you get an exponential growth of the bottom price doubling every 4 months or so - it's almost certain that this line will be tested again sometime in the future.
It need not necessarily be via a crash, maybe just a period of relative stability (corrections seem to be times of stability - I suspect this applies to most commodities)
Most commodities don't come with a massive distributed payment system built in.

Remember a few hours ago when we dipped to $63 all the bears were like Muw-ahahha and all the calves were like oh nooooo.

Those were good times.

249  Economy / Speculation / Ticker/charting sites + help request on: March 20, 2013, 09:25:53 PM
Hey guys, I'm aware of the following real-time charting services:
mtgoxlive.com
btccharts.com
bitcoin.clarkmoody.com
bitcoinity.org
bitcoincharts.com

At one point I saw a ticker site very similar to clarkmoody & bitcoinity. However, it was more configurable. It had resizable/minimizable windows inside the browser page for the orders, marketdepth, chart, etc.

I can not find it again for the life of me. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Thanks.
250  Economy / Speculation / Re: Somebody bought 22k BTC for about 1.4 million$ on: March 20, 2013, 08:18:58 PM
Not meaning to question your inference but from the chart alone is it conclusive that the buy was a single order or from a single person?

It appears that one of the orders was from a single person. When it was finished executing the cumulative total was exactly 20,000BTC.

The other 2k, it's hard to say.

If you think we're in a bubble, you shouldn't be buying.
252  Other / Off-topic / Re: I'm calling the top here @ $23.98961 on: March 20, 2013, 12:18:14 AM
OP I feel bad for you having to see new replies to this thread. I hope you didn't sell ALL your coins.
He probably never had any. But if he did, I certainly hope he sold them all to more deserving people at 23.

253  Other / Off-topic / Re: My mother-in-law is buying bitcoins... on: March 20, 2013, 12:13:12 AM
Sounds like we should expect a correction upwards, then.
254  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price is $50 now! on: March 19, 2013, 10:14:59 PM

Bitcoinity seems to be the least crash-prone. But there was one more ticker site out there besides these 3, that had movable panels...I can't find it now, does anyone know what I'm talking about?

http://www.btccharts.com

Thank you, but that's not it.The site I'm talking about looked more like Bitcoinity, but it had component panels you could minimize and resize within the browser. I thought I bookmarked it but I can't find it now.

Yeh i know.
Annyways i would still be getting money.
Ill try to get it soon. And i know the difficulty will go much higher.
But as soon as i earned over 600$ i buy the japaleno whit 30gh/s

Thats my plan Cheesy

Not as much as if you just used the money to purchase BTC directly.

257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: mBTC: At what point should the community use this as the default unit? on: March 19, 2013, 05:10:59 PM
I have switched to using "internets."
Because reddit.
258  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin mining at 2.0 mhash/s on: March 19, 2013, 05:09:38 PM
Go to a calculator http://www.alloscomp.com/bitcoin/calculator
4.5 gh/s means 4500 mh/s When you input that in the calculator see the results Smiley.

You see the results for the CURRENT difficulty. That difficulty is going to be much higher by the time you get any kind of ASIC miner.
